Bonners supplies Sylvia Young School
Amy Winehouse's theatre school buys from Bonners
We are proud to announce that the prestigious Sylvia Young Theatre School (SYTS), where Amy Winehouse once studied, has chosen Bonners Music Superstore to supply a quantity of Roland digital pianos for their new premises in London.
“We have been talking to Sylvia Young for some time now and were chosen to supply the instruments based on our unrivalled experience in digital pianos," said Tony White, the joint owner of Bonners (pictured far right with Maxwell David BSc, SYTS' singing teacher, seated, and students from the school). "Bonners is now one of the largest single outlets of digital pianos in the UK and are able to provide the on-going service that an establishment of this calibre requires. The top of the range Roland HP307 models that we supplied to the school suited their needs perfectly, due to their excellent sound reproduction which needed to fill a number of large dance and drama studios with no extra amplification."
The SYTS, which is based in Camden Town, London, has an impressive list of previous students who have gone on to become famous pop, West End and television stars aside from Winehouse, including Emma Bunton, Billie Piper and Samantha Janus.
We have the largest single outlet of Digital Pianos in the UK and the only Music Store to boast a Roland Planet, Yamaha Homeworld and Korg Pro Centre in the same showroom. Our Yamaha Homeworld is one of three UK locations chosen by Yamaha Europe to be upgraded using new bespoke shop fittings as used in Yamaha’s Tokyo Ginza store.
