Important Information - Regarding digital piano deliveries
Buying a piano should be a pleasurable experience - let’s face it, it’s not a purchase which many people make more than once!
Modern digital pianos can be supplied either in flat pack form for self assembly (delivered by courier), or fully assembled and installed by experienced Bonners Music staff.
With the higher range pianos, our bespoke delivery & installation service is usually free of charge* but with the lower range models, to save you further cost, we do offer a flat pack option.
Do you need delivery upstairs, or delivery at a specific time? We can take care of it!
We offer a timed delivery service using our own van and drivers. Our drivers will carry your digital piano up any steps and even give you a call on the day with their estimated time of arrival. This service is free on most pianos over £1700, and chargeable on some others. Call us on 01323 639335 to discuss your specific delivery requirements.
Flat Pack Digital Piano Deliveries
If you are considering purchasing a digital piano using the flat pack delivery option, please be aware that the piano will be
delivered by a courier service, and we can therefore not be specific about the time of delivery. We will let you know on which day to expect the delivery, but there must be someone at home to take receipt of the parcel, which will be rather large and heavy.
If you choose our courier delivery/flat pack delivery method, please be aware that the courier is not contracted to carry your boxed piano up any steps or stairs. If there are stairs leading to the front door of the delivery address, or you live in an apartment which is not on pavement level, it is your responsibility to arrange transportation from the pavement level to the delivery address. In this instance, the delivery driver may, at their own discretion assist you in carrying the parcels to the delivery address, but they are not contracted nor obliged to do so.
Self Assembly Of Your Piano
Digital pianos are relatively simple to assemble. For the novice, it will usually take up to an hour to assemble the piano - from unpacking the instrument from the box to it being ready to play.
Self assembly requires two able-bodied persons.
At the end of the day, we want you to be extremely happy with your new piano and don’t want you to be disappointed because with the delivery experience. If you are un-sure which delivery service to choose, call us on 01323 639335. We’re here to help.
