  • Finance Options

    Start owning the musical instrument you want now, today!

    If you're set on buying your new instrument, there's no need to get weighed down by the total cost of it straight away. If you break it down into monthly payments over time, it's much more manageable than you might think. And our fixed interest rates mean you'll know exactly what you're paying from the start.

    How To Apply For Finance

    How it works

    The finance options available are displayed on the individual product pages.

    Pay a fixed deposit, depending on the price of the purchase. The rest is split into monthly payments up to three years. At the end of your contract when you've made your final payment, the instrument or equipment is all yours. You could own that dream guitar, drum kit or piano sooner than you thought!

    Finance is available for selected new and used instruments.

    Which Finance Options Are Available?

    Most products on our website show the available finance options. Some are interest free, and some are interest bearing. The options shown on the site are an example of what is available - if you would like to pay over a different period, give us a call on 01323 639335 and we’ll try and arrange a finance option that suits your budget.

    You can apply for finance online, or over the telephone - call us on 01323 639335 if you'd like to speak to one of our musical instrument experts.

    All finance is subject to acceptance by our finance provider and a credit check will be carried out on the applicant.

    Call 01323 639335 to discuss finance options in more detail.

    We offer our customers the ability to apply for simple finance facilities to fund a purchase from us. Once you are accepted by V12 Retail Finance you will be asked to eSign the credit agreement and once in receipt of your purchase, v12 will make your agreement live and your monthly repayments will commence for the agreed term. In short retail finance gives you the flexibility to buy what you really want now, not just what you can afford today by spreading the cost of your purchase over a repayment period that suits your budget.

    Eligibility Criteria

    You must: Be at least 18 years of age Have been a UK resident for 3 years or more Be able to make repayments by direct debit Be in regular employment* (minimum of 16 hours per week) including self-employment, or in permanent residence with your spouse/partner who is in regular employment *If you are retired and receive a pension or registered disabled and unable to work, V12 Retail Finance may ask for proof of sufficient income.

    Information Required

    During the loan application process you will be asked for your personal information such as name, 3 year address history, date of birth, email and telephone contact details and employment/income information. If you are accepted you will also need a credit or debit card registered to you at your address on the credit application so that the lender can carry out an electronic identity check.

    Processing Time

    With most applications we expect that you will be given an acceptance or decline decision within 10-20 seconds. In some cases the lender may return the decision as ‘referred’. You will then receive an email with further instructions once the underwriters have made a decision. For in store applications you can usually wait in the shop whilst the underwriters review your application. Underwriting hours are between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Friday (excluding Bank holidays), 9am and 6pm on Saturday, and 10am and 5pm on Sunday. If your application is referred outside of these hours then you may have to wait until the next working day for the decision.

    Returns & Cancellation Procedure

    If you wish to return the order then please refer to our returns policy. If we accept your return we will contact the lender to cancel the credit agreement. We may not able to cancel the finance if the return falls outside of our returns period.

    Declined Credit Applications

    You will be informed of the decision if the lender declines your application, the lender in unable to share the reason for decline with us. Applications are usually declined for reasons such as:

    You do not meet the eligibility criteria (see above);

    • adverse credit reference agency information;
    • your credit score;
    • you are considered to be overcommitted;
    • or your existing account performance with other lenders.

    The lender will give you the contact details for the credit reference agency used. They will also give you information on how to appeal the decision if you wish to discuss the matter. Please note that the lender is unable to discuss this over the telephone due to Data Protection rules. You should also note that each lender applies its own credit score to applicants so if you have recently been accepted for credit elsewhere this does not necessarily mean that appealing the decision on this basis alone will result in a change of decision.

    Yamaha CLP645 Clavinova Digital Piano; Dark Walnut Yamaha CLP645 Clavinova Digital Piano; Dark Walnut sale
    £620.00 off RRP
    Available to order
    Yamaha CLP645 Clavinova Digital Piano; Dark Walnut The Yamaha CLP645 is a new model introduced to the Clavinova range of digital pianos. The CLP645 features the acclaimed NWX Natural Wood keyboard with escapement and synethic ebony and ivory keytops, wireless bluetooth audio connectivity and upgraded 60w amplification/speaker system to give a fuller bodied sound at lower volume levels. The CLP645 has twice the number of speakers found in the lower range models and this gives a clearer, richer and more defined sound. The new CLP645 is available in a choice of satin wood colours including Black Walnut, Dark Walnut, Rosewood, Satin White and White Ash. For an additional cost there is also the option of the luxury high gloss black polished ebony finish. The music desk on the CLP645 is fitted with sheet music / book clips to keep the music in place. Choice of Two Concert Grand Piano Sounds The CLP645 delivers the sound of two world-class concert grand pianos - the powerful Yamaha CFX and the Bosendorfer Imperial. Both of these instruments have distinct characteristics that suit a wide variety of playing styles and music tastes, and both are available at your fingertips depending on how the mood takes you! In addition to these wonderful concert grand piano voices, Yamaha have included a recreation of their flagship SU7 upright piano for when certain pieces sound at their best when performed on an upright instrument. Additional Instrument Voices & Recording The CLP645 is equipped with a total of 36 voices including acoustic and electronic pianos, as well as harpsichord, organs, strings, choir, vibes, bass sounds and guitars. These voices can be layered / split across the keyboard, and also used for creating compositions and orchestrations using the on-board 16-track song recorder. Save your compositions as MIDI data, or export to .WAV audio file format to simplify sharing with your friends / family. Audio recording requires a suitable USB memory stick (not supplied). Bluetooth Audio Streaming Make full use of the CLP645’s high quality audio system by streaming the sound of your MP3 player or tablet computer wirelessly to the piano. With a sound system that rivals dedicated home audio equipment, this is ideal for just listening to your favourite albums, or playing along to backing tracks using Yamaha’s Notestar app. Virtual Resonance Modelling The sound of a grand piano resonates throughout the body of the instrument, providing a rich reverberation that surrounds the listener in sound. This natural reverberation is replicated perfectly in the CLP645 Clavinova through Virtual Resonance Modeling (VRM), which calculates the various states of the strings for each of the 88 notes on the keyboard from one instant to next. This allows for the vivid, richly-varied expression that reflects the limitless number of factors inherent in playing the piano. Duplex scaling technology also enhances the resonance of the upper octave, and adds both brightness and body to the character of the high registers. Duplex scaling is found on high quality acoustic grand pianos, and the new Yamaha CLP600 series is the first digital piano range to emulate this important feature. Enhanced Headphone Sound Output With Binaural Sampling The Yamaha CLP645 pianos is designed to deliver room-filling sound. But there are times when you may want to keep your playing to yourself. When you’re practicing at night, for example, or when people nearby are engaged in other activities. In such cases, headphones offer a private sanctuary where you have the freedom to play however and whenever you choose. Thanks to Yamaha’s advanced binaural sampling technology, the sound you hear through your headphones is remarkably lifelike. This technology uses piano samples recorded by specialized microphones that capture locational information and other nuances discerned by the human ear. The resulting sound is so natural, so enveloping, that you’ll soon forget you’re even wearing headphones at all. (CFX Grand Voice only). There are two headphone outputs on the CLP645 so that duets can also be practiced in silence! Dimensions & Weight: Width 149cm Height 101cm Depth 161cm Weight: 290kg Two of the Worlds Finest Concert Grand Pianos When in 'silent' mode, the Yamaha C1X SH2 defaults to Yamahas 9-foot Concert Grand Piano bright, rich, and powerful. For a rich, warm sound with a beautiful sonorous bass, the press of a button takes you to the Bosendorfer Imperial Concert Grand Piano. All 88 keys have been sampled individually for the most accurate representation of these exquisite instruments. Sonic Palette Stereophonic Optimizer There are 20 sounds pre-installed to the Yamaha C1X SH2, including a variety of electric pianos, strings, and organs. To make these voices feel and sound more authentic and natural, the stereophonic optimizer reproduces the natural sound distance, making you forget you are wearing headphones and preventing your ears from getting tired after a long practice session. Binaural Sampling The default CFX sound uses Binaural technology when wearing headphones. Specialised microphones placed in the players ears position capture nuances and locational information usually only picked up by the human ear. You truly forget you are wearing headphones when playing with the CFX sound and can practice for much longer periods of time than with standard stereo headphone sampling. Virtual Resonance Modelling One thing many players miss the most when playing a digital instrument are the pianos natural resonance. A grand piano has several areas where sound travels and reverberates, such as the solid spruce soundboard, and even the outer rims of the instrument. Each time you play an acoustic piano, a limitless amount of different resonances and overtones are captured. Yamaha have recreated this in the C1X SH2, thanks to their enhanced Virtual Resonance Modelling. Every element of the acoustic instrument is captured, from the timing of the keys being pressed, to the dampers lifting from the strings and the pedals being pressed. This is captured in great detail across all 88 keys. The result is an authentic and immersive playing experience, filled with expression. Unique Yamaha Technology To further enhance the realistic playing experience when using the C1X SH2 Silent features, Yamahas Smooth Release technology understands the way your finger releases the key, responding to smoother legato playing as well as shorter staccato notes. Key-off samples are actual recordings that capture the subtle changes as the finger is completely lifted away from the key, as the damper felt returns to rest on the string. Sensors under each key detect continuous movement, without affecting the feel of the piano. Infinite levels of expression are therefore possible, in the same way you would expect on a standard acoustic instrument. Similar non-contact Hammer sensors work in the same way to allow both slow and rapid keystrokes, and rapid trills that would not be possible on typical digital pianos. Yamahas Quick Escape System means that, when in silent mode, the hammers and strings are the ideal distance apart, so the quality of touch isnt sacrificed as with other silent models. Bluetooth Audio If you want to play along to backing tracks or songs stored on your mobile device, you can now stream wirelessly via Bluetooth with the Yamaha C1X SH2 system when using headphones. Smart Pianist App Smart Pianist is Yamahas own free app, which enables the player to control functions such as selecting voices or editing the metronome settings, as well as playing along to scores displayed on the Smart Device. The UD-WL01 USB Wireless LAN Adaptor (sold separately) is required to use Smart Pianist over a wireless connection. Simple & Sophisticated Control Panel A sophisticated design and intuitive interface, the control panel blends with the pianos cabinet. Available in white finish for polished white pianos. Connectivity USB to HOST connect to a computer or portable device and record high-quality audio without need for an external interface. AUX OUT play through external speakers / IC recorders AUX IN listen from external devices such as sound source modules and music players MIDI OUT transmit performance information to external devices ie synths MIDI IN receive and playback information from sequencers using the SH2 Tone Generator Recording As well as being able to record directly to the built-in recorder on the piano, and listen back to your performance immediately, you can also record high quality audio to a USB memory stick (not included). The data will be stored as a WAV file, ready to play on a PC or burn to CD or portable music players. Headphones The headphones included with the Yamaha C1X SH2 are open structured meaning they produce an excellent quality of sound, while also minimizing the strain that can be caused by long hours of headphone playing. Metronome The built-in metronome enables the player to practice and listen to precise rhythm while playing. This, along with other features, is accessed most easily via Yamahas Smart Pianist app. How does Yamaha SH2 silent system differ to the cheaper Yamaha SC2 Silent system?
