Finance Options

Start owning the musical instrument you want now, today!

If you're set on buying your new instrument, there's no need to get weighed down by the total cost of it straight away. If you break it down into monthly payments over time, it's much more manageable than you might think. And our fixed interest rates mean you'll know exactly what you're paying from the start.

How To Apply For Finance

How it works

The finance options available are displayed on the individual product pages.

Pay a fixed deposit, depending on the price of the purchase. The rest is split into monthly payments up to three years. At the end of your contract when you've made your final payment, the instrument or equipment is all yours. You could own that dream guitar, drum kit or piano sooner than you thought!

Finance is available for selected new and used instruments.

Which Finance Options Are Available?

Most products on our website show the available finance options. Some are interest free, and some are interest bearing. The options shown on the site are an example of what is available - if you would like to pay over a different period, give us a call on 01323 639335 and we’ll try and arrange a finance option that suits your budget.

You can apply for finance online, or over the telephone - call us on 01323 639335 if you'd like to speak to one of our musical instrument experts.

All finance is subject to acceptance by our finance provider and a credit check will be carried out on the applicant.

Call 01323 639335 to discuss finance options in more detail.

We offer our customers the ability to apply for simple finance facilities to fund a purchase from us. Once you are accepted by V12 Retail Finance you will be asked to eSign the credit agreement and once in receipt of your purchase, v12 will make your agreement live and your monthly repayments will commence for the agreed term. In short retail finance gives you the flexibility to buy what you really want now, not just what you can afford today by spreading the cost of your purchase over a repayment period that suits your budget.

Eligibility Criteria

You must: Be at least 18 years of age Have been a UK resident for 3 years or more Be able to make repayments by direct debit Be in regular employment* (minimum of 16 hours per week) including self-employment, or in permanent residence with your spouse/partner who is in regular employment *If you are retired and receive a pension or registered disabled and unable to work, V12 Retail Finance may ask for proof of sufficient income.

Information Required

During the loan application process you will be asked for your personal information such as name, 3 year address history, date of birth, email and telephone contact details and employment/income information. If you are accepted you will also need a credit or debit card registered to you at your address on the credit application so that the lender can carry out an electronic identity check.

Processing Time

With most applications we expect that you will be given an acceptance or decline decision within 10-20 seconds. In some cases the lender may return the decision as ‘referred’. You will then receive an email with further instructions once the underwriters have made a decision. For in store applications you can usually wait in the shop whilst the underwriters review your application. Underwriting hours are between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Friday (excluding Bank holidays), 9am and 6pm on Saturday, and 10am and 5pm on Sunday. If your application is referred outside of these hours then you may have to wait until the next working day for the decision.

Delivery

For finance orders made online or via mail order we are only able to deliver the goods to the address on your credit agreement (your home address). You will not be able to have the goods shipped to another address or collect the goods from us in person.

Returns & Cancellation Procedure

If you wish to return the order then please refer to our returns policy. If we accept your return we will contact the lender to cancel the credit agreement. We may not able to cancel the finance if the return falls outside of our returns period.

Declined Credit Applications

You will be informed of the decision if the lender declines your application, the lender in unable to share the reason for decline with us. Applications are usually declined for reasons such as:

You do not meet the eligibility criteria (see above);

  • adverse credit reference agency information;
  • your credit score;
  • you are considered to be overcommitted;
  • or your existing account performance with other lenders.

The lender will give you the contact details for the credit reference agency used. They will also give you information on how to appeal the decision if you wish to discuss the matter. Please note that the lender is unable to discuss this over the telephone due to Data Protection rules. You should also note that each lender applies its own credit score to applicants so if you have recently been accepted for credit elsewhere this does not necessarily mean that appealing the decision on this basis alone will result in a change of decision.

We take both acoustic and digital pianos in part exchange. When You Can See The Roland LX708 In Store The Roland LX708 is scheduled to first arrive in our stores during November 2018. We have two piano shops - Reigate Surrey and Eastbourne East Sussex where you can see and try the largest selection of digital pianos under one roof to ensure you're making the right decision when purchasing. LX708 Keyboard Feel The LX708 is equipped with a new Roland Hybrid Keyboard Action which has a longer key than previous models. This means that the pivot point is further back, giving more control to the player when performing both Pianissimo (soft) and Forte (loud) passages. The key action on the LX708 is constructed of both natural wood and synthetic parts to give both durability and accurate key touch. Haptic Key VIbration across the entire 88 key range reproduces the natural vibrations that are felt when playing an acoustic grand piano - this makes the player feel more 'connected' to the instrument. PureAcoustic Piano Sound Modelling Technology New for the LX700 range, Roland have introduces two unique piano sounds - European & American. The European sound is rounded and delicate, whilst the American tone is full-bodied and bright (but not too bright!). The piano tones offer limitless polyphony - so you won't suffer notes cutting off even when playing large chords & fast passages with full sustain pedal. There are ample variations on each of the piano sounds for playing different styles of music, as well as a choice of over 300 other voices including e.pianos, organs, strings, synths and more to inspire your musical creativity. 8 Channel Speaker System The LX708 is a luxury instrument, aimed at the discerning pianist who wants the very best quality digital instrument - whether playing on headphones or through the built-in eight-speaker system. The LX708 has two 25cm woofer speakers housed in their own speaker box within the cabinet. These provide the main 'body' of the sound. Accompanying these are two nearfield speakers (12cm x 8cm) - again in their own box, and four spatial speakers for added acoustic ambience. The total rated power output is 74w and this really does sound fantastic. The cabinet design allows the sound to be projected into the room like no other digital piano on the market, and the inclusion of speaker boxes inside the LX708's cabinet has given Roland complete control over the resulting sound quality. Other Convenient Features Features which have now become 'standard' on Roland pianos are all present, including Bluetooth audio, Twin Piano mode, metronome, onboard recorder and the option to use headphones to play in private. Piano Designer Roland was the first manufacturer to introduce the Piano Designer feature to their pianos. This gives a range of sound editing options to the player to craft their own unique piano sounds, which can be saved in the instrument for recall at a later date. The Piano Designer gives you control over the following piano sound attributes: Lid Key Off Noise Hammer Noise Duplex Scale Full Scale String Resonance Key Off Resonance Cabinet Resonance Soundboard Type Damper Noise Soft Pedal Type Single Note Tuning Single Note Volume Single Note Character Roland LX708 Dimensions & Weight Width 1,395 mm 54-15/16 inches Depth 491 mm 19-3/8 inches Height 1,180 mm 46-1/2 inches Weight:110.5 kg Roland LX708: Digital Piano Sound Generator: Piano Sound PureAcoustic Piano Modeling Max. It All Begins With An Authentic Piano Sound & Touch The CSP170 is fitted with Yamaha’s NWX (Natural Wood X) keyboard with synthetic ebony and ivory keytops, escapement to enable exceptional expression in piano performances. There are two main choices of piano sounds available in the CSP170 - the mighty Yamaha CFX concert grand, and the Bösendorfer Imperial. Both of these piano tones work well for different styles of music - the CFX is a bright and powerful sound with exquisite top register, whilst the Bösendorfer Imperial is renowned for being more delicate and perfect for romantic classical pieces. Three Pedals - Just Like An Acoustic Grand Piano The CSP170 has three pedals which behave just like those found on a traditional grand piano - sustain, soft and sostenuto. When the additional features are being controlled through your tablet device, the pedals can be assigned to different functions such as start/stop, glide, expression and more! Display & Control Digital Music Scores On Your Device When playing along to backing tracks and midi files etc on the CSP170, it is possible to display the printed music score on the screen of your connected tablet device. Lyrics and chord symbols can also be shown. Headphone Mode When a set of headphones is connected to one of the headphone out jacks, the sound of the CSP170’s speaker system is muted and can only be heard by the person wearing the headphones. This means that piano practice can be done without disturbing other members of the household. There are two headphone sockets for teacher/pupil scenarios or for duet performances. The headphone output is further enhanced by the implementation of Yamaha’s binaural sampling technology on the CFX piano sound. This technology gives the impression of surround sound through the headphones in order to give a realistic experience whether through the internal speaker system, of when practicing using headphones. Plenty Of Voices - In fact there’s 692 of them! If you like to play more than just piano sounds, then the CP170 is the piano for you! Featuring 692 high quality Voices covering all genres of musical instrument, and even synthesizer sounds too. There are also 29 Drum and sound effects Kits available to complete the band! These voices are put to good use when playing along with the huge range of songs you can download from Yamaha’s online services, or they can be used for you to create your own multitrack arrangements using the 16 track recording feature. Microphone Input With Vocal Harmony The CSP170 is so much more than just a piano, yet you wouldn’t know it when looking at teh simple, elegant front panel. There is a dedicated microphone input for when you want to sing along, and lyrics can be displayed on the screen of a connected tablet computer. The vocal harmony processor adds realistic multi-part harmonies to the main vocal, and digital effects such as reverb and delay can be applied to the microphone to give that ‘professional’, polished sound. Record Your Performance! Record your performance on the CSP170 either using the 16 track MIDI recorder for complex multi-part arrangements, or record to a WAC or AAC format high quality audio file so you can share your own music with your friends or across the internet. Lesson Functions If you’re learning to play, then the CSP170 is your ideal piano teacher! You don’t need to be a pro to play the Clavinova CSP-170 digital piano. There are over 400 songs built-in to the CSP170 for you to play along with. The CSP170 can also scan the songs in your smart device’s library to produce a chord chart and piano score, and will even show you what keys to play and when with the intuitive Stream Lights feature. Accompaniment Styles Similar to the backing track features found in Yamaha’s popular CVP Clavinova range of pianos, the CSP170 is loaded with 470 high quality backing styles. Playalong using full piano keyboard mode, or split the keyboard for playing using Fingered or Single-Finger chords. It’s like having a complete backing band in your piano - and there are thousands more styles to download from Yamaha’s Musicsoft website. Huge Sound Output! The sound of the CSP170 is delivered through two 90watt amplifiers, driving four speakers. Even at lower volume levels, the sound of the CSP170 is rich and vibrant.
