Gibson Les Paul Modern Graphite Top Electric Guitar

Building on the legacy of innovation and tradition the Gibson Modern Collection Series of Les Paul guitars that include modern features and hardware.

The all new Gibson Les Paul Modern includes many of the latest features that guitar players would expect from Gibsons’ latest Les Paul designs. Still keeping with the classic single cut Les Paul style but now featuring a lighter weight body for more comfort, a modern slim taper neck with a compound radius, contoured neck heel joint and Gibson BurstBucker Pro humbucking pickups.

If you are looking for that classic Les Paul shape and sound with modern features and appointments that are carefully selected to enhance the guitar and add real useful features the Gibson Les Paul Modern needs to be considered.

Contemporary Styling

The Mahogany body with maple cap features a modern contoured heel neck joint giving extremely easy access to the upper frets with the hand really sitting in to the neck joint really easier and very comfortable. I tried this and the contouring was perfect with my hand really able to reach those last few frets that normally the traditional neck joint would make this difficult.

Modern Tonal Options

Armed with pair of BurstBucker Pro, in the neck position is the Pro and in the bridge is the Pro +, controlled with via the volume pots with push pull switches to give you either Gibson humbucker or P90 pickup sounds. The tone pots feature either bypass or phase switching to give you even more tonal options.

    Start owning the musical instrument you want now, today!

    If you're set on buying your new instrument, there's no need to get weighed down by the total cost of it straight away. If you break it down into monthly payments over time, it's much more manageable than you might think. And our fixed interest rates mean you'll know exactly what you're paying from the start.

    How To Apply For Finance

    How it works

    The finance options available are displayed on the individual product pages.

    Pay a fixed deposit, depending on the price of the purchase. The rest is split into monthly payments up to three years. At the end of your contract when you've made your final payment, the instrument or equipment is all yours. You could own that dream guitar, drum kit or piano sooner than you thought!

    Finance is available for selected new and used instruments.

    Which Finance Options Are Available?

    Most products on our website show the available finance options. Some are interest free, and some are interest bearing. The options shown on the site are an example of what is available - if you would like to pay over a different period, give us a call on 01323 639335 and we’ll try and arrange a finance option that suits your budget.

    You can apply for finance online, or over the telephone - call us on 01323 639335 if you'd like to speak to one of our musical instrument experts.

    All finance is subject to acceptance by our finance provider and a credit check will be carried out on the applicant.

    Call 01323 639335 to discuss finance options in more detail.

    We offer our customers the ability to apply for simple finance facilities to fund a purchase from us. Once you are accepted by V12 Retail Finance you will be asked to eSign the credit agreement and once in receipt of your purchase, v12 will make your agreement live and your monthly repayments will commence for the agreed term. In short retail finance gives you the flexibility to buy what you really want now, not just what you can afford today by spreading the cost of your purchase over a repayment period that suits your budget.

    Eligibility Criteria

    You must: Be at least 18 years of age Have been a UK resident for 3 years or more Be able to make repayments by direct debit Be in regular employment* (minimum of 16 hours per week) including self-employment, or in permanent residence with your spouse/partner who is in regular employment *If you are retired and receive a pension or registered disabled and unable to work, V12 Retail Finance may ask for proof of sufficient income.

    Information Required

    During the loan application process you will be asked for your personal information such as name, 3 year address history, date of birth, email and telephone contact details and employment/income information. If you are accepted you will also need a credit or debit card registered to you at your address on the credit application so that the lender can carry out an electronic identity check.

    Processing Time

    With most applications we expect that you will be given an acceptance or decline decision within 10-20 seconds. In some cases the lender may return the decision as ‘referred’. You will then receive an email with further instructions once the underwriters have made a decision. For in store applications you can usually wait in the shop whilst the underwriters review your application. Underwriting hours are between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Friday (excluding Bank holidays), 9am and 6pm on Saturday, and 10am and 5pm on Sunday. If your application is referred outside of these hours then you may have to wait until the next working day for the decision.

    Returns & Cancellation Procedure

    If you wish to return the order then please refer to our returns policy. If we accept your return we will contact the lender to cancel the credit agreement. We may not able to cancel the finance if the return falls outside of our returns period.

    Declined Credit Applications

    You will be informed of the decision if the lender declines your application, the lender in unable to share the reason for decline with us. Applications are usually declined for reasons such as:

    You do not meet the eligibility criteria (see above);

    • adverse credit reference agency information;
    • your credit score;
    • you are considered to be overcommitted;
    • or your existing account performance with other lenders.

    The lender will give you the contact details for the credit reference agency used. They will also give you information on how to appeal the decision if you wish to discuss the matter. Please note that the lender is unable to discuss this over the telephone due to Data Protection rules. You should also note that each lender applies its own credit score to applicants so if you have recently been accepted for credit elsewhere this does not necessarily mean that appealing the decision on this basis alone will result in a change of decision.

    £200.00 off RRP
    In Stock
    Fender 2019 Rarities Quilt Maple Top Telecaster, Maple Neck, Blue Cloud S/N LE07830 7.48lb As with the previous 5 models in the 2019 Rarities Collection, the Quilt Maple Top Telecaster in Blue Cloud takes the tradition of Fenders 69-year electric guitar history and pushes the classics into new exotic and boutique territories. Putting aside this guitars premium aesthetics and appointments, the core ingredients to this Telecaster remains true to Leos original design. It has a 2 piece nitro finished Ash body along with a maple neck, vintage-style pickups and brass compensated saddles so that you get classic vintage Tele twang while still being able to have perfect intonation. The neck is a very comfortable 60s C, not too thin and not too thick, just right all the way down the neck. Its Quilted Maple top not only makes this one of the prettiest looking Telecaster guitars but also adds a sweet top end and clarity to the notes, this perfectly complements the vintage warmth of the Ash body. A classy Tele that really does look as good as it sounds. Quarter-Sawn European Maple One of the many premium features on the new Quilt Maple Top Tele is the quarter-sawn maple neck. Often found on high-end electric guitars such as the Fender Custom Shop instruments, quarter-sawn necks have increased stability and strength and are far less sensitive to temperature and humidity changes. Perfect for those who travel frequently with their guitars or for those who live in climates such as what we have here in the UK where we have hot summers and cold winters. Many also argue that the increased tightness in the grain and density of the wood causes a tighter and brighter attack to the note as well as an increase in sustain. Cloud Nine It's always exciting when Fender releases a new finish and this really is one that will send you to cloud nine. The shimmering cloud blue finish accentuates the beautiful wavy figuring on the 2 piece quilt maple top. Elegantly partnered up with black binding and chrome hardware, the Rarities Quilt Top Telecaster really has to be one of the most head-turning guitars that fender has ever produced. There's No-Caster like a Tele-Caster The lavish looks of the Quilt Maple Top Tele are perfectly complemented with 2 of Fenders most popular Telecaster pickups. Vintage Tele twang is provided in the neck position from the Custom Shop 51 Nocaster pickup. The flat pole Alnico 3 magnets provide an even and clear string response with enhanced dynamics and focus. This is perfectly partnered with a Pure Vintage 64 bridge pickup. The staggered alnico 5 magnets and copper shield plate provides a slightly hotter more lively tone while still maintaining authentic vintage warmth. Kawai GX3 188cm Grand Piano; Polished Ebony Kawai GX3 188cm Grand Piano; Polished Ebony
    £2,600.00 off RRP
    In Stock
    Kawai GX3 Grand Piano Exquisite Japanese craftmanship and the best quality materials used in production make the GX3 a fantastic choice where quality and attention to detail is sought after. At 188cm in depth, the rich tone and expression you are able to achieve from this instrument is beyond most instruments of this size. This is partly thanks to the rigorous selection process of the materials used, and the relationship between the light, responsive Millennium III Keyboard Action and the soundboard and frame. These features work harmoniously together, to create an instrument to satisfy even the best concert pianist. Expressive Touch As well as incorporating Kawais ground-breaking Millennium III Action, the GX3s key length has been increased considerably. The fulcrum distance is greater than in typical Grand Pianos, and as such the key pivot length is extended. In simpler terms, this keyboard allows for the most expressive control imaginable, whether you are playing at the very tip of the key, or towards the back. This consistent touch feels light, and extremely responsive, allowing for the slightest nuances in playing to be heard and felt. Tonal Purity The woods used in the production of the GX3 go through a rigorous selection process, with only the very finest being selected. For the soundboard, woods selected will generate the rich and deep bass tones as well as the resonance and sparkle in upper registers, whereas woods used for the bridges, ribs and even inner-rims are carefully considered before selection to ensure maximum durability and power. Premium Grand Piano hammers are used in the production of the GX3, made with felts from the best Oceanian wool. The delicate, soft exterior allows for easy pianissimo playing, while the tough, rigid interior is saved for fortissimo playing, giving you the best of both worlds across a vast range of dynamics. The hammers are also under-felted, which adds resilience and also means the hammers can be voiced in a way that maximises the tonal output of the instrument. Long-Lasting Durability Improvement to the overall rigidity of the GX3 thanks to an increased thickness in the wooden beam connected to the outer rim gives the piano a more immersive sound, along with exceptional tensile strength, supporting even the most expressive playing with ease. The strength of the carbon steel tuning pins also means the piano has excellent tuning stability. Rickenbacker 660 Ruby Red Guitar The Rickenbacker Model 660 is a magnificent solid-bodied showstopper with a gorgeous ruby red colour and that trademark sound that only a Rickenbacker can deliver. Featuring a maple body which reveals the individual character of the wood, like all the 600 series, the 600 has a shape that's based on the innovative "cresting wave" design from the 1950's with higher end appointments than the 620s or 650s, adding to the prestige and collectability of this icon of rock 'n roll. And unlike other classics like the Les Paul or Strat, you won't find this shape or style made by any other brand - Rickenbacker are highly protective of their unique designs. This is a stunning looking guitar with some really beautiful and accurate vintage appointments and a luxurious lacquered ruby red finished. It's not just a pretty face though - there's that unique Ricky sound from vintage style pickups that are close to the original toaster pickups but with a little more oomph. Dan Mole - Bonners Guitar Specialist The rosewood fingerboard is decorated with triangular pearloid inlay markers, while the solid maple body gives a bright and crisp tone, paired with a maple neck for lightness and playability. Rickenbacker's trademark "chequered" black and white binding contrasts strikingly with the body, while a white binding adds an extra touch of craftsmanship on the neck. The Rickenbacker 660 is electronically engineered to the exacting standards of the vintage reissue series, complete with two of Rickenbacker's own vintage high-gain single coil Toaster-style pickups giving a warmth, clarity and the distinctive jangle that these guitars are renowned for. Definitely one of the most desirable guitars we currently have in stock - get in quick because this one won't be around for long.
