See & Try The Kawai CS11 Digital Piano In Our Piano Shops

We stock the entire range of Kawai instruments and they are on demonstration in both of our specialist digital piano showrooms. Located in Reigate (just off Jct 8 of the M25) and also on the South Coast in Eastbourne BN21 3JN, both of our piano stores have on-site parking and are large enough to carry a huge range (probably the best in the UK) of digital pianos from all the major manufacturers. This means you can be sure to make the right decision when choosing a piano to suit your own personal tastes and requirements.

Free Delivery & Fully Assembled In Your Home

The Kawai CS11 is delivered to you by Bonners own piano delivery experts, who fully assemble and install your new piano for you. This service is completely free of charge for the CS11 (available for England addresses only). We specify a delivery time, fully assemble the piano, take it upstairs if necessary, and remove all the boxes & packaging. The most important thing to us is that you are fully satisfied with your new piano.

Authentic Wooden Keyboard Action

The Kawai CS11 shares many characteristics with the popular CA97 model, but with the addition of a beautiful polished ebony finish cabinet in the style of a small upright piano. The Kawai CS11 features Kawai’s Grand Feel ll keyboard action - constructed from long pieces of wood which pivot on a balance pin. This results in a near perfect replication of the feel of an acoustic grand piano.

Concert Grand Experience In Your Own Home

In addition to a wonderfully authentic keyboard action, the CS11 is equipped with three different grand piano tones including Kawai SK-EX, Kawa SK5 and Kawai EX concert sounds, so you can be sure to find a piano voice suitable for your performance. In addition to the three ‘core’ piano sounds, the CS11 features a host of alternative pianos sounds for Jazz, Modern and Pop performances.

Soundboard Speaker System

The CS11 is the only piano in the Kawai CS range to feature their acclaimed Soundboard speaker system. This unique audio technology embraces the rich, harmonic qualities of wood, channelling sound energy onto a spruce soundboard to produce an organic tone. The result is a remarkably authentic playing experience that immerses the performer, and faithfully reproduces the tonal ambience of an acoustic piano.

At the end of your contract when you've made your final payment, the instrument or equipment is all yours. You could own that dream guitar, drum kit or piano sooner than you thought!

Finance is available for selected new and used instruments.

Which Finance Options Are Available?

Most products on our website show the available finance options. Some are interest free, and some are interest bearing. The options shown on the site are an example of what is available - if you would like to pay over a different period, give us a call on 01323 639335 and we’ll try and arrange a finance option that suits your budget.

With most applications we expect that you will be given an acceptance or decline decision within 10-20 seconds. In some cases the lender may return the decision as ‘referred’. You will then receive an email with further instructions once the underwriters have made a decision. For in store applications you can usually wait in the shop whilst the underwriters review your application. Underwriting hours are between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Friday (excluding Bank holidays), 9am and 6pm on Saturday, and 10am and 5pm on Sunday.   • adverse credit reference agency information;
  • your credit score;
  • you are considered to be overcommitted;
  • or your existing account performance with other lenders.

The lender will give you the contact details for the credit reference agency used. They will also give you information on how to appeal the decision if you wish to discuss the matter. Please note that the lender is unable to discuss this over the telephone due to Data Protection rules. You should also note that each lender applies its own credit score to applicants so if you have recently been accepted for credit elsewhere this does not necessarily mean that appealing the decision on this basis alone will result in a change of decision.

A Hybrid Piano usually refers to a digital piano that has the keyboard action and mechanism taken from a traditional acoustic piano. This results in a more authentic touch and musical experience for the player when comapred with traditional digital-only pianos. The sound is generated electronically, so Hybrid pianos never require tuning and the other regular maintenance associated with acoustic pianos. Hybrid pianos such as the Kawai Novus NV10 allow the use of headphones for the times when you want ot practice without disturbing other people in the household or neighbouring properties. Quite simply, the Novus NV10 gives you all the benfits of a digital piano, whilst retaining the delicate, responsive touch of a traditional acoustic grand. Keyboard Action, Hammers & Dampers The felt hammers in the NV10's action have been replaced with ABS equivalents, and are individually graded in weight form the bass register to the treble, resulting in long-lasting reliability without compromising performance. Optical sensors take the place of the piano strings, and accurately measure the velocity and speed of the hammer movements to give a ensure a natural response is achieved by the performing musician. The NV10 is the first Hybrid piano from any manufacturer to feature a real grand piano damper mechanism. Although there are no strings in the NV10, the inclusion of traditional felt dampers reproduces the weighting of a grand piano sustain pedal, and also eases the keyboard's resistance when the pedal is pressed. This particular feature is unique to the Kawai NOVUS NV10 and has not been included in hybrid pianos from other manufacturers. Sound Reproduction The NOVUS NV10 features the sound of the Shigeru Kawai SK-EX concert grand piano. This particular piano is one of the finest grand pianos in the World, and is authentically recreated in the NV10. This piano sound is used in other high-performance Kawai digital pianos, but in the NOVUS NV10, it is further enhanced by 1-bit processing, premium dual DACs, and DIDRC filter and amplification technology powered by Japan’s leading high-end audio manufacturer, Onkyo. Quite simply, there is no other digital grand piano avialable that has the specification or performance of the Novus NV10.
