Finance Options

Start owning the musical instrument you want now, today!

If you're set on buying your new instrument, there's no need to get weighed down by the total cost of it straight away. If you break it down into monthly payments over time, it's much more manageable than you might think. And our fixed interest rates mean you'll know exactly what you're paying from the start.

How To Apply For Finance

How it works

The finance options available are displayed on the individual product pages.

Pay a fixed deposit, depending on the price of the purchase. The rest is split into monthly payments up to three years. At the end of your contract when you've made your final payment, the instrument or equipment is all yours. You could own that dream guitar, drum kit or piano sooner than you thought!

Finance is available for selected new and used instruments.

Which Finance Options Are Available?

Most products on our website show the available finance options. Some are interest free, and some are interest bearing. The options shown on the site are an example of what is available - if you would like to pay over a different period, give us a call on 01323 639335 and we’ll try and arrange a finance option that suits your budget.

You can apply for finance online, or over the telephone - call us on 01323 639335 if you'd like to speak to one of our musical instrument experts.

All finance is subject to acceptance by our finance provider and a credit check will be carried out on the applicant.

Call 01323 639335 to discuss finance options in more detail.

We offer our customers the ability to apply for simple finance facilities to fund a purchase from us. Once you are accepted by V12 Retail Finance you will be asked to eSign the credit agreement and once in receipt of your purchase, v12 will make your agreement live and your monthly repayments will commence for the agreed term. In short retail finance gives you the flexibility to buy what you really want now, not just what you can afford today by spreading the cost of your purchase over a repayment period that suits your budget.

During the loan application process you will be asked for your personal information such as name, 3 year address history, date of birth, email and telephone contact details and employment/income information. If you are accepted you will also need a credit or debit card registered to you at your address on the credit application so that the lender can carry out an electronic identity check.

Processing Time

With most applications we expect that you will be given an acceptance or decline decision within 10-20 seconds. In some cases the lender may return the decision as ‘referred’. You will then receive an email with further instructions once the underwriters have made a decision. For in store applications you can usually wait in the shop whilst the underwriters review your application. Underwriting hours are between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Friday (excluding Bank holidays), 9am and 6pm on Saturday, and 10am and 5pm on Sunday. If your application is referred outside of these hours then you may have to wait until the next working day for the decision.

Returns & Cancellation Procedure

If you wish to return the order then please refer to our returns policy. If we accept your return we will contact the lender to cancel the credit agreement. We may not able to cancel the finance if the return falls outside of our returns period.

Declined Credit Applications

You will be informed of the decision if the lender declines your application, the lender in unable to share the reason for decline with us. Applications are usually declined for reasons such as:

You do not meet the eligibility criteria (see above);

  • adverse credit reference agency information;
  • your credit score;
  • you are considered to be overcommitted;
  • or your existing account performance with other lenders.

The lender will give you the contact details for the credit reference agency used. They will also give you information on how to appeal the decision if you wish to discuss the matter. Please note that the lender is unable to discuss this over the telephone due to Data Protection rules. You should also note that each lender applies its own credit score to applicants so if you have recently been accepted for credit elsewhere this does not necessarily mean that appealing the decision on this basis alone will result in a change of decision.

Kawai ES520 Portable Digital Piano Are you looking for a portable digital piano that offers improved quality over entry level models without the price tag of the flagship instruments? The Kawai ES520 might just be the perfect instrument for you! Sharing many features found in the top-of-the-range model, the ES520 bridges the gap between entry-level and premium at an affordable price. There has always been a huge gulf in between the price of the entry level and flagship portable pianos from all manufacturers. This is a first for Kawai - a digital piano which is positioned slap-bang in the middle of the price range and will appeal to many people who want more than the entry-level instruments can offer. Tony White - Bonners Piano Specialist 34 Authentic Sounds The ES520 is equipped with a total of 34 on-board authentic instrument sounds. In addition to 8 convincing acoustic piano sounds created using Progressive Harmonic Imaging sound technology with 88-key stereo sampling, there are 5 x E.Piano's, 5 x Organs (tonewheel and classical), 4 x Clav/Harpsichord/Mallet sounds, 7 x strings & choir ensembles, and 5 x bass voices for split keyboard performance. Various split and layer modes are available - two voices can be layered or split across the keyboard (user definable split point). Maximum polyphony is 192 notes. Responsive Hammer Compact II keyboard action Developed alongside the RH3 keyboard found in the flagship ES920, the Kawai RH Compact 2 keyboard delivers a superb touch in a more compact and lightweight package which makes it ideal for use in the ES520. Matte key surfaces and sturdy construction results in a firm, balanced feel and the spring-less technology results in a smooth, natural playing experience. Powerful On-Board Amplification & Speakers Just like the flagship model, the ES520 features a powerful motherboard & amplification system developed with premium Hifi manufacturer Onkyo. The 40w speaker system delivers a rich, vibrant sound, never-before seen at this price point. Bluetooth Audio + MIDI The ES520 allows connection via Bluetooth for both streaming music through the instrument's on-board speaker system, or for communication with Apps on your iOS/Android device. Coming soon after launch will be the new Kawai Piano Remote app - control the piano's features wirelessly using the touchscreen of your smart device! Complete The Look With Optional Wooden Stand Available as an additional purchase, the Kawai HM5 wooden piano stand gives your ES520 a modern image - ideal for the contemporary home. The Kawai HM3 pedal bar can also be added to complete the stylish piano package. Studio Quality Effects To Enhance Your Sound In recording studios and on stage, digital effects are added to the sound in order to enhance the tone, or create bespoke sounds that are unique to the performer. The Kawai ES520 has the same powerful effects processors found in the higher range model and these give immense control over your final sound. The effects processor is divided into three sections, all of which can be activated at the same time: REVERB: Reverb adds an ambience to the overall sound - the kind of 'echo' you hear when talking in a large concert hall or cathedral. The ES520 offers six different reverb effect - and you have control over the reverb depth and time individually for each: Room, Lounge, Small Hall, Concert Hall, Live Hall, Cathedral. MULTI EFFECTS: Multi effects are widely used to enhance the sound of musical instruments. The ES520 is equipped with a choice of sixteen multi effects: Mono Delay, Ping Delay, Triple Delay, Chorus, Classic Chorus, Ensemble, Tremolo, Classic Tremolo, Vibrato Tremolo, Auto Pan, Classic Auto Pan, Phaser, Classic Phaser, Compressor, Rotary 1, Rotary 2. AMP SIMULATOR: The onboard amp simulator allows you to recreate the 'dirty' sound of instruments such as E.Pianos, Organs and Clavs being routed through a vintage amplifier. There are separate controls for Drive, Level, EQ Low, EQ High on each of the three amp models. Virtual Technician Function - Create Your Unique Piano Sound Kawai's popular Virtual Technician feature allows you to modify the acoustic piano voices to your own taste. You have full control over parameters including Touch Curve, Voicing, Resonance & Noise, Temperament & Tuning, Hammer Delay and pedal response. You can save your own unique piano voices for instant recall. On-board Recorder Record your performance with the on-board 50,000 note recorder. The ES520 stores up to 3 of your own performances. Kawai ES920 Portable Digital Piano The ES920 is the latest flagship model in Kawai's lineup of portable digital pianos with built-in speakers. It is designed for pianists who need an instrument which offers the very best sound quality and keyboard feel in an instrument that is light enough to carry around to different locations. The ES920 has some features which put it in a league above other portable pianos in the same price category such as 4 Band Graphic EQ, 40watts amplification/speaker system designed in collaboration with Onkyo, and Bluetooth MIDI and Audio functionality with aptX support for wireless communication and audio playback. Kawai has raised the bar in the flagship league of the portable piano market with the ES920. Features such as 4 Band EQ and Harmonic Imaging XL sound source, as well as the Responsive Hammer III keyboard action, means you don't need to compromise when choosing an instrument for on the road. Add the official HM-5 designer stand and it looks great in the home too! Tony White - Bonners Piano Specialist Best-In-Class Keyboard Action The ES920 is equipped with Kawai's Responsive Hammer III keyboard action. This key action has grade-weighted keys (heavier in the bass registers and slightly lighter in the treble), counterweights for faster key return, and every nuance of your performance is captured using a triple-sensor system. The RH3 key action also features let-off simulation for an authentic grand piano experience. Harmonic Imaging XL For Improved Piano Voices Kawai has included their Harmonic Imaging XL piano voice technology in the ES920. Additional memory allocated to the on-board piano voices allows for the use of extra-long samples (recordings of individual acoustic piano notes) - in some cases these are double the length of the samples found in non XL based instruments. The result is a more refined piano voice, with apparently less sample looping noticeable when holding sustained notes. When combined with the RH3 keyboard action, the piano sound of the ES920 offers an exquisite piano experience from a portable instrument. More Than Just Piano Voices In addition to the ten on-board acoustic piano voices, the ES920 offers an additional 28 voices covering various instrument types as follows: E.PIANO x 6, ORGAN x 5, HARPSI/MALLETS x 4, STRINGS/CHOIR x 8, BASS x 5. The total polyphony (the total number of notes which can be played simultaneously) is 256 notes. This means that even when playing sustained arpeggios in Dual Mode, you're unlikely to have notes cut-off mid performance, which is something which results from instruments that offer lower polyphony count. Two voices can be split on the upper / lower sections of the keyboard and there's even a four-hands mode so two people can play the piano but hear the same octave registers in both upper and lower areas of the keyboard. The volume and balance between layered or split keyboard sounds is adjustable via the bright OLED display screen. All these features and it weighs just 17kg! It's quite amazing that Kawai has managed to pack in all these great features to an instrument that weighs just 17kg. This makes it ideal for use at home, on the road, or even for students studying at college/university where a portable instrument is more appropriate for their accommodation. Digital Effects - More Powerful Than Other Digital Pianos Kawai is renowned for including a wide range of digital effects in it's ES series models. These are often overlooked by potential purchasers of portable instruments but they can be used to make such a difference to the overall sound. The effects section of the ES920 is divided into three parts as follows - all three effects sections can be active simultaneously which results in some really professional sounding results: REVERB: Use the reverb effect to add ambience to your sound. Six types of reverb effect are available to simulate the sound of different playing environments: Room, Lounge, Small Hall, Concert Hall, Live Hall, Cathedral. We would urge you to experiment with these as they sound superb. MULTI EFFECTS: In studios, producers and musicians add effects to the sound of their instrument to give a more professional, creative or 'authentic' sound. The ES920 has 16 digital multi effects to enhance or change the sound of the voices you're playing. Here's the full list of multi-effects found in the Kawai ES920: Mono Delay, Ping Delay, Triple Delay, Chorus, Classic Chorus, Ensemble, Tremolo, Classic Tremolo, Vibrato Tremolo, Auto Pan, Classic Auto Pan, Phaser, Classic Phaser, Compressor, Rotary 1, Rotary2 AMP SIMULATOR: Back in the 60's and 70's, studio and stage musicians used different types of combo amplifiers to change the character and tone of their instrument's sound - especially when playing E.Piano, Clav and Tonewheel Organ voices. The ES920 simulates the sound of three types of amplifiers (S.Case I, S.Case II, L.Cabinet) and offers parameters to manipulate the Drive, Level, EQ Low, EQ High of each amplifier model. Craft Your Own Piano Voice with VIRTUAL TECHNICIAN Kawai's Virtual Technician feature gives you the tools of a piano technician to manipulate and create your own individual piano voice in line with your own tastes. Want to change the tuning? - no problem! Add some open string resonance? - no problem! You can change a huge range of parameters which affect the overall sound and performance of the piano - and you can even use the Kawai Piano Remote app to do this via Bluetooth if you prefer. Here's a list of the basic parameters available for editing within the Virtual Technician feature: Touch Curve, Voicing (mellow, bright etc), Resonance (Damper, string, cabinet and other resonance generators), Noise & Effects, Temperament & Tuning, Others (Hammer Delay, Minimum Touch, User Key Volume, Half-Pedal Adjust, Soft Pedal Depth). On-Board Recording Options The ES920 has an on-board 2-track MIDI song recorder which can record up to 10 songs approximately 90,000 note memory capacity. In addition to the MIDI recorder, the on-board USB Audio recorder (USB stick not included) can record your performance in .MP3 or .WAV formats - ideal for sharing on the internet or with friends. Metronome & Rhythm Section Use the built-in metronome to aid practice - the time signature and tempo is fully adjustable. Take your practice and performances to new levels by using the built-in drum rhythms - and add the four-part bass/chord auto accompaniment too! There are 100 drum rhythms from which to choose, covering many styles of music from ballads & latin, to jazz and funk. Each rhythm style has two variations.
