Roland RD2000 Stage Piano History Of The Roland RD2000 In 1986, Roland introduced the groundbreaking RD1000 digital stage piano. At the time, the RD1000 was the most advanced digital piano and featured Roland’s advanced SA synthesis technology to produce the best possible piano sound. By today’s standards, the piano sounds on the RD1000 are not particularly realistic, but they have a distinctive tone that is both dynamic and expressive, and has been used by countless artists including Elton John, Oleta Adams, Richard Marx to name but a few. Fast-forward 30 years to the present day and Roland have once-again broken the boundaries of piano sound technology with the introduction of the flagship RD2000 Stage Piano. The Best Roland Keyboard Action The RD2000 is a professional piano keyboard featuring the acclaimed PHA-50 key action. This key action is manufactured using a combination of wood outer sides, and a synthetic material core. This gives the best of both worlds - traditional natural materials for look and feel, and synthetic parts for maximum reliability over many years of performance. See & Try The RD2000 At Bonners Piano Stores We are stage piano specialists and show the Roland RD2000 on demonstration in both our stores. Our Reigate Showroom is located within easy reach of London - just 2 miles from JCT 8 on the M25 motorway, and our large Eastbourne store is on the South Coast - just 30mins drive from Brighton & Hastings.
