    Roland FA07 Music Workstation

The FA07 is a 76 key music workstation that joins the existing family of ROland FA series keyboards including the FA06 and FA08 models. The FA07 features a 76 note semi-weighted keyboard action with velocity sensitivity. 76 notes is a popular keyboard length for many players because it allows performance of piano parts without the need to octave-shift the keyboard, and also gives more space for complex split & layer combinations of sounds.

    Part Exchange

Do you already own a keyboard that you would like to trade-in for a new Roland FA07? Email us details of what you have to partex@bonners.co.uk and we will email you back a part exchange price immediately.

Massive Voice Library That Is Expandable

The FA07 is a keyboard workstation designed for extremely fast workflow from the initial song idea right through to a complete finished production. A huge collection of Roland’s very best sounds (over 2000) including SuperNATURAL synth sounds are included and this can be further expanded by downloading high quality sound expansion libraries from Roland’s Axial website. This means you can tailor the FA07 to suit your requirements whenever you need it - from cutting edge synth & dance sounds, to full range orchestral libraries or vintage keyboard samples.

    On-Board Recording

The built-in 16 track sequencer is designed to be user-friendly and doesn’t get in the way of your creativity. It is very simple to create a full song arrangement and using the continuous recording in loop mode, it is possible to record all 16 tracks without even pressing the stop button! Step recording is also possible, and your complete mix can be exported as a stereo audio file to an SDHC memory card.

    Simple Sampling

Like the on-board sequencer, the Roland FA07’s sampler feature is designed with speed and ease of use at the forefront. Each of the 16 pads can be filled with audio vocal hits, loops, one-shots, backing tracks, sound effects and phrases, with zero load time because they playback directly from the SDHC flash memory.

    Hands-On Control

The front panel of the FA07 is intuitively laid out, with a high resolution large colour LCD screen located centre-stage. On the left you’ll find six realtime control knobs for sound manipulation on-the-fly, and handy transpose, octave-shift, split & layer buttons are close at hand. The FA07 really has been designed with the player in mind - all the most important controls are on the front panel to make this the ideal keyboard for live performance as well as studio use.

    Perfect For Live Players

A massive enhancement for FA series version 2, and a first in this price category is the new Tone Remain function. This allows seamless switching of sounds without notes or effects being unnaturally cut off. The FA07 also has master keyboard functionality built-in to the Studio Sets feature. Program changes, control changes, and most other MIDI messages can be sent out to external MIDI devices when selecting a Studio Set (a patch that contains a combination of internal sounds & external MIDI messages).

The VR730 runs on mains or battery power!

Weighing just 9.9kg, the VR730 can be powered by AC mains or batteries.

    Three Distinct Sound Sections

The VR730 has three independent sound sections - organ, piano and synth. These sections can be layered or split across the keyboard to create your own combinations of sounds, and stored to the presets for easy recall when in a live situation. The synth tones are derived from Roland’s INTEGRA sound module and feature the SuperNATURAL technology - high quality and extremely useful “gig-orientated” sounds

    Onboard Effects

Up to seven effects can be used at any one time. As well as a new “Rock Rotary” Effect (this is designed to make the organ sound cut through the mix - even in the loudest bands!), there are other effects which feature classic keyboard effects such as chorus, phaser, delay, wah, reverb, flanging and many more. These can be applied to the sound sections independently and effects settings are memorised along with your own favourite presets.

Expand The Sounds - Completely Free Of Charge

The soundset of the VR730 is expandable via free downloads from the Roland Axial website. Roland will be adding brand new sounds and patches for your VR730 keyboard.

    Looks Great On Stage!

The VR730 doesn’t just sound vintage - it’s case design gives a nod to the traditional tonewheel organs of the past. The wooden side panels and simplistic design look great on stage whilst retaining that traditional, retro keyboard image.

iPad Editor For Creating Your Own Sounds

Roland have developed a free iPad editor for the VR730 which allows you to edit and create your own organ and synth voices. This app is downloadable from the Apple APP store.

    Rhythm Patterns, Metronome & Looper

Make your practice sessions more interesting with the onboard rhythm patterns. There is also an onboard audio looper (this was pioneered by Boss - a Roland guitar effects brand) which allows you to record phrases that playback in loops so you can jam over the top of them. This is not only great fun, but this technology has also formed the basis of many guitar based solo acts over the past few years. Roland now brings this unique technology to keyboard players. It is also possible to record your performances in audio format to a connected USB memory stick (not included).
