Kawai GL10 ATX II Silent Grand Piano The Kawai GL10 Anytime ll offers all the features of the GL series grand pianos, along with the convenience and benefit of being played with headphones, so as to not disturb neighbours or the rest of the household. Kawais Millennium III keyboard action is matched in innovation by the silent system, which allows the player to play the instrument digitally, through headphones, hearing the authentic sound of Kawais EX Concert Grand Piano, along with many more. Authentic Tone The ATX II Silent system includes highly realistic samples of Kawais EX Concert Grand Piano, which has been recorded in a purpose-built chamber, capturing the most authentic sound possible. Harmonic Imaging (HI-XL) gives this model the largest sample size on any Kawai digital piano. This generates a more realistic attack at the beginning of each note, and is able to pick up on many more natural resonances and characteristics missed in other digital instruments. All 88 keys of the EX Concert Grand have been sampled in great detail, giving a truly impressive and accurate sound. Touch Where other silent system locate their sensors under the keybed, Kawai have integrated theirs within the keyboard action itself, giving a much more accurate portrayal of the movements of each individual hammer as the piano is being played. This Integrated Hammer Sensing System (IHSS) allows the player to play silently, without sacrificing the quality of the feel of the acoustic instrument. Easy To Use With a slide-out panel and LCD screen, the silent system is very easy to use. It offers features such as transpose, metronome, recording, and a good selection of voices to play with. Other Features of the ATX II Anytime System Include: Built-in effects (chorus, tremolo, delay, auto-pan, amp sim) and reverb (6 environments) USB & MIDI connectivity MP3 Audio Playback & Record LINE-level audio & MIDI jack connectivity Integrated Lesson Function Power Saving when inactive Features of the Kawai GL10 ATX II include: Agraffes - ensuring string alignment and consistency of ”speaking length” Hardwood Bridge - solid maple/beech, for correct string pressure and best tonal output V-pro plate - strong and stable Pinblocks - fully laminated with layers of North American hard maple for maximum strength and balance Tuning pins - made from high quality carbon steel, nickel plated to provide long-term protection Steel-reinforcement - prevents warping and keys from sticking to the keyslip, as well as supporting the action in the keybed Soft-Fall Fallboard - to prevent injury to hands or damage to the finish of the piano Kawai GL10 ATX II Dimensions: Depth 153cm Width 150cm Ordering A Brand New Kawai From Bonners When purchasing your piano, we are usually able to arrange delivery within 14 days (if not sooner) on models we have in stock.
