Roland HP704 Digital Piano Charcoal Black Value Package

The Roland HP704 digital piano is designed for beginner and intermediate piano players who wish to invest in an instrument which will grow with their playing ability thus reducing the need to upgrade in a short period of time.

I couldn't believe the sound quality of the HP704 and it's worth the extra investment over the HP702 for the PHA-50 hybrid keyboard action alone. One of my favourite mid-range digital pianos.

Tony White - Bonners Piano Specialist

Supplied With Everything You Need To Get Playing Right Away!

This is our best value Roland HP704 piano package. It includes an adjustable height piano stool and a quality set of headphones so you can get playing as soon as we deliver your piano to you!

Housed in a slightly taller cabinet then the lower range HP-702 model, the HP704 is equipped with Roland's PHA50 hybrid key action which utilises a combination of synthetic materials and natural wood for durability. The keys of the PHA50 keybed are slightly longer than those of the PHA4 standard, which allows for greater control and a more expressive performance.

The HP704 is available in five popular cabinet finishes: Charcoal Black, Dark Rosewood, Light Oak, Satin White and high gloss Polished Ebony

SuperNATURAL Piano Sound
The acclaimed sound of the Roland SuperNATUAL piano voice has become a firm favourite with professional musicians and teachers all over the World. This piano voice is derived from a mixture of traditional sampling (recording) and computer generated modelling techniques to create a pure tone which is suited to all styles of piano music.

Furthermore, the SuperNATURAL piano tones can be modified using the Piano Designer function to alter characteristics such as damer resonance, string resonance, pedal noise, ambience, tuning and more. You really can create your own unique piano voice with the HP704.

Traditional Keyboard Touch
The HP704 is fitted with the acclaimed PHA-50 key action. This key action is manufactured using a combination of wood outer sides, and a synthetic material core. This gives the best of both worlds - traditional natural materials for look and feel, and synthetic parts for maximum reliability over many years of performance.

High Quality Speaker System
To give the best experience possible in a mid-range instrument, the HP704 is equipped with a 30w + 30w amplification system, using Roland's Acoustic projection System to drive four speakers which have been placed within the cabinet to immerse the player in sound.

High Quality Headphone Output
For times when you want to play the piano without disturbing others in your household, it is possible to plug in headphones (up to two sets for duet playing). The headphone output is enhanced with 3D Ambience Technology to give a surround sound experience.

Finance Options

Start owning the musical instrument you want now, today!

If you're set on buying your new instrument, there's no need to get weighed down by the total cost of it straight away. If you break it down into monthly payments over time, it's much more manageable than you might think. And our fixed interest rates mean you'll know exactly what you're paying from the start.

How To Apply For Finance

How it works

The finance options available are displayed on the individual product pages.

Pay a fixed deposit, depending on the price of the purchase. The rest is split into monthly payments up to three years. At the end of your contract when you've made your final payment, the instrument or equipment is all yours. You could own that dream guitar, drum kit or piano sooner than you thought!

Finance is available for selected new and used instruments.

Which Finance Options Are Available?

Most products on our website show the available finance options. Some are interest free, and some are interest bearing. The options shown on the site are an example of what is available - if you would like to pay over a different period, give us a call on 01323 639335 and we’ll try and arrange a finance option that suits your budget.

You can apply for finance online, or over the telephone - call us on 01323 639335 if you'd like to speak to one of our musical instrument experts.

All finance is subject to acceptance by our finance provider and a credit check will be carried out on the applicant.

Call 01323 639335 to discuss finance options in more detail.

We offer our customers the ability to apply for simple finance facilities to fund a purchase from us. Once you are accepted by V12 Retail Finance you will be asked to eSign the credit agreement and once in receipt of your purchase, v12 will make your agreement live and your monthly repayments will commence for the agreed term. In short retail finance gives you the flexibility to buy what you really want now, not just what you can afford today by spreading the cost of your purchase over a repayment period that suits your budget.

Eligibility Criteria

You must: Be at least 18 years of age Have been a UK resident for 3 years or more Be able to make repayments by direct debit Be in regular employment* (minimum of 16 hours per week) including self-employment, or in permanent residence with your spouse/partner who is in regular employment *If you are retired and receive a pension or registered disabled and unable to work, V12 Retail Finance may ask for proof of sufficient income.

During the loan application process you will be asked for your personal information such as name, 3 year address history, date of birth, email and telephone contact details and employment/income information. If you are accepted you will also need a credit or debit card registered to you at your address on the credit application so that the lender can carry out an electronic identity check.

Processing Time

With most applications we expect that you will be given an acceptance or decline decision within 10-20 seconds. In some cases the lender may return the decision as ‘referred’. You will then receive an email with further instructions once the underwriters have made a decision. For in store applications you can usually wait in the shop whilst the underwriters review your application. Underwriting hours are between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Friday (excluding Bank holidays), 9am and 6pm on Saturday, and 10am and 5pm on Sunday. If your application is referred outside of these hours then you may have to wait until the next working day for the decision.

Returns & Cancellation Procedure

If you wish to return the order then please refer to our returns policy. If we accept your return we will contact the lender to cancel the credit agreement. We may not able to cancel the finance if the return falls outside of our returns period.

Declined Credit Applications

You do not meet the eligibility criteria (see above);

  • adverse credit reference agency information;
  • your credit score;
  • you are considered to be overcommitted;
  • or your existing account performance with other lenders.

The lender will give you the contact details for the credit reference agency used. They will also give you information on how to appeal the decision if you wish to discuss the matter. Please note that the lender is unable to discuss this over the telephone due to Data Protection rules. You should also note that each lender applies its own credit score to applicants so if you have recently been accepted for credit elsewhere this does not necessarily mean that appealing the decision on this basis alone will result in a change of decision.

Wooden Key Keyboard Action The keyboard touch is probably the most important factor to consider when purchasing a new piano. The keys form the connection between the player and the sound and it is essential to purchase a piano with the best keyboard touch within your budget. Lower range models usually feature plastic keybeds, but the CA59 is equipped with Kawai's Grand-Feel Compact wooden key keyboard action. The combination of long individual wooden keys mounted on a balance pin (just like an acoustic piano) produces an excellent playing experience whether you are a beginner or an accomplished pianist. White keys have a textured synthetic ivory feel, and counterweights increase the return speed of the notes. Triple key contact sensors capture every nuance of your musical performance and the simulated escapement mechanism recreates the feel of a grand piano. The Sound Of A Kawai Concert Grand The CA59 reproduces the sound of four different Kawai grand and upright pianos. Each of the different piano voices is suited to different musical styles. Choose from the Kawai SK-EX concert Grand, the SK5 studio Grand, EX Concert Grand and the K-60 premium upright piano. Grand feel triple pedal system Just like a grand piano, the CA59 has three metal pedals which offer sustain (with half-damping), sostenuto and soft functions. The Grand Feel pedal system replicates the individual weighting of the sustain, soft, and sostenuto pedals of the SK-EX and EX concert grand pianos to further enhance the CA59's acoustic piano authenticity. Onkyo Premium Audio System In 2017, Kawai partnered with Onkyo to produce premium, hi-fi quality audio systems for their high-end digital pianos. This technology has now filtered down to the mid-range models and the CA59 is one of the pianos to benefit from the Kawai/Onkyo partnership. The Onkyo amplifier produces a richer, cleaner, higher quality sound than previous models. Built In Music & Lessons The CA59 is loaded with hundreds of songs, exercises and popular classical pieces for you to play along, use for practice purposes, or to simply listen to for pleasure. Bluetooth MIDI and Audio with aptX support Bluetooth audio functionality allows you to stream music from other devices through the CA59's premium audio system. Furthermore, Bluetooth on the CA59 supports aptX which offers less latency and higher audio quality. Bluetooth MIDI support means you can connect your computer or tablet device to the CA59 for external recording applications or creation of printed scores using software such as Sibelius - all completely wirelessly.
