Roland Jupiter-XM Synthesizer

Self-Contained, POWER SYNTH

JUPITER-XM may redefine what you think a synthesizer can be. It has a universe of sounds, expanding all the time. It can jam with you, inspire you, and capture your ideas. It can go just about anywhere, and it doesn’t need any cables or wires to function—not even for power. The JUPITER-Xm is an entire electronic production and performance environment that you can put under one arm. Where you take it, is up to you.

Portable but so very playable

Too often you must sacrifice playability and expression for something easily portable. JUPITER-XM strikes a perfect balance with an all-new 37-key slim keyboard that redefines what a compact keyboard can be. Small doesn’t have to mean cheap, and in the case of JUPITER-Xm, you get solid, responsive keys and three full octaves in a space generally reserved for a lot less.

Don't put the Jupiter-XM in the same category as other 'mini synths' from alternative manufacturers. This keyboard is like a Tardis! All the power of the Jupiter X in a small, convenient, lightweight form and a much lower price. If you can't wait until 2020 for the full-size Jupiter X, this little powerhouse should keep you satisfied!

Tony White - Pro Keyboard Specialist
Roland Jupiter XM Explained

The Jupiter-XM is a five-part multi-timbral synthesizer. What sets the Jupiter XM apart from other synths on the market is that it's possible to load four different accurately modelled vintage or sample-based synths into the memory at one time (plus a drum part). Each of these synths is treated as a completely discreet instrument and the panel knobs/sliders can be used to control each part independently. In short, the Jupiter X has the potential to layer up a sample-based synth, Jupiter 8, Juno 106, SH101 at the same time. Or, if you want a really MASSIVE sound, why not layer four Jupiter 8's together - something which has until now, not been possible with hardware-based synthesizer keyboards.

Part Exchange Your Keyboard

If you already own a keyboard (or some keyboards!) which you would like to upgrade to the new Jupiter-XM then please email details of what you have to partex@bonnersmusic.co.uk. It is helpful if you could attach some photos to your email. We'll get right back to you with a part exchange valuation. We offer great part exchange values and it saves you the inconvenience of selling your instrument on the private market.

More Information About The Roland Jupiter-XM

The next-generation sound engine found in the Jupiter X allows players to delve into the 'back catalogue' of landmark Roland Synthesizers and morph them together to create totally unique sound textures. Nothing has ever sounded like this and we are so excited about the possibilities of sound creation that the Jupiter XM will offer.

Here are some of the historic Roland Synths which are accurately modelled in the Jupiter XM - all of which are available to be morphed and layered together:

JUPITER-8, JUNO-106, SH-101, XV-5080, RD pianos, Roland drum machine sounds including those found in the TR-808, TR-909, TR-707, CR-78, plus more.

I-Arpeggio Feature

JUPITER-XM’s cutting-edge I-Arpeggio feature uses artificial intelligence to accompany user performances and inspire new musical ideas. I-Arpeggio takes player-created notes, rhythms, and phrases and uses them to develop complementary drum parts, basslines, chords, and arpeggiated lines in real-time. It works on each of JUPITER-XM’s five parts simultaneously, and generated patterns can be customized and even exported to a DAW.

Intuitive Control Panel Layout

Built for on-the-spot music creation, JUPITER-XM features an informative display and an array of large, comfortable knobs, sliders, and buttons. And with the dedicated effects section and quick switching between synth layers, the user can immediately take control of any aspect of a sound. This kind of natural, hands-on control gives players the feeling of reaching in, touching the sound, and instantly shaping it to suit the moment.

Sound Structure & Polyphony

JUPITER-XM's sound structure includes five parts: four for synths and one for drums. Its engine can power multiple authentic Roland classics like the JX-8P or JUPITER-8 with enough polyphony to create thick layers and complex backing parts. With so much polyphony on hand, users can freely create layered sounds, splits, and backing parts without limiting complex chords or musical ideas.

How it works
The finance options available are displayed on our individual product pages - just click the button under the price to see the available options for each product. Finance is available for most new and used instruments over £400.

Pay a fixed deposit, and the rest is split into monthly payments. At the end of your contract when you've made your final payment, the instrument or equipment is all yours. You could own that dream guitar, piano or keyboard sooner than you thought!

Which Finance Options Are Available?
Most products on our website show the available finance options. Some are interest free, and some are interest bearing. The options shown on the site are an example of what is available - if you would like to pay over a different period, give us a call on 01323 639335 and we’ll try and arrange a finance option that suits your budget.
