Virtually Unlimited PolyphonyAt the heart of the DEXIBELL H7 piano lies an incredibly powerful “Quad Core” processor capable of managing 320 digital oscillators. This huge number of oscillators allows for the simulation of all elements, sounds and noises which culminate to model the T2L sound. The increased polyphony used in Dexibell Pianos contributes to simulate the realistic responsiveness of a real acoustic piano through virtually unlimited polyphony. XXL Sampling TechnologyThroughout the range of DEXIBELL pianos, the recorded waveform length of each individual note is between 3 and 15 times higher than the equivalent products currently on the market. Incorporating the playing sensation of two of the world’s finest grands with the compact convenience of an upright, the CLP545 represents the best in affordable digital pianos from one of the world’s most important manufacturers.Yamaha have been making pianos for over a century, and their expertise in electronics and digital technology is second to none. By combining these two skills, they have created a range of digital pianos that deliver an exceptional playing experience, while still being both practical for the modern home, and affordable. A realistic playing experienceThe CLP545 combines a Natural Wood X (NWX) keybed with synthetic ivory keys, and escapement so that it has the action and feel of a full-size, nine-foot grand rather than a digital upright that is half the size! Delicate enough to pick up and translate the slightest nuance and robust enough to cope with stronger, more powerful passages, the CLP545 transposes every touch into a perfectly pitched note that resonates perfectly through the instrument. The wood used in the keybed has been dried naturally and in a manner specifically used for musical instruments, so there is never any worry about warping or cracking. Full body resonanceThe cabinet of the piano is calibrated for a full-body resonance that eliminates interference between frequencies, so you never suffer from a feedback effect that can blight cheaper digital pianos. And because of the expertly positioned multi-channel speaker system allows the sound to reverberate throughout the entire piano, the soundscape it creates is rich, multi-tonal and fluid enough to capture the most fleeting subtleties and visceral accents. This is an instrument that is capable of handling the complexities of Mozart or the thunderous power of Beethoven, the distinctive ebb and flow of modern Jazz or the brightness and sparkle of Ragtime. A unique ‘voice’Every piano has its own voice, and that unique tonal range and quality is often difficult to replicate in a digital instrument. However, Yamaha has over a century of experience in making pianos, and indeed their CFX concert grand is regarded as one of the finest in the world. Perfectly tuned and played by the winner of the 2010 Chopin International Piano Competition, the CFX has been sampled and used as one of the primary voices in the CLP545 Clavinova digital piano. Alongside this unique voice, Yamaha has also sampled the powerful Bosendorfer Concert Grand, a magnificent instrument with a reputation for having a powerful bass register that complements the subtleties of the CFX’s top notes perfectly. The result, known as ‘Real Grand Expression’ by Yamaha, is a unique sound that is well balanced, packed with expressive quality that picks up on every subtle detailing of your playing. A host of electronic extrasThe Yamaha CLP545 Clavinova is also packed full of some of the most innovative and advanced digital technology, from the 16-track, 250-song recorder that allows you to record your performances and play them back, through to an interactive app that lets you access a library of songs and plugs straight into your iPad. The speaker volume can be adjusted with no impact on the quality of the sound, thanks to a compensation system that balances the bass and treble registers at lower levels. This system of Intelligent Acoustic Control has been developed by Yamaha and is now a key part of all their premium class digital pianos. Highlights Of The Yamaha CLP545: 34 Instrument voices Acoustic Optimiser technology Smooth Release, Key Off, and Damper Resonance samples RGE sound engine; 256-note polyphony; dual-layer capability Intelligent Acoustic Control; DSP Smooth Release Onboard multi-effects, including reverb and chorus 303 lesson songs Soft, sostenuto, and damper pedals; half-damper effect USB MIDI for connection to your computer Metronome; dual headphone outs Music rest; key cover included

The CLP535 Clavinova digital piano is the result of years of hard work, expertise and ground-breaking technology to create a digital piano that has ideas well above its station! This is a digital piano that thinks it’s a grand – and goes a long way to convincing even experienced pianists that it is! How is it done?Yamaha is also famous for making full-size grands, and has over a century of piano-making experience. They’re also one of the world’s leading electronics firms, and it is this expertise that has enabled them to create the CLP535. By sampling the ‘voices’ of two of the world’s greatest grands and then using their electronics skills to embed these sounds into the CLP535, you have a digital piano with the depth and tone of a grand – and for a much more affordable price. And because it’s a classic upright design it won’t take up too much space either, making it the perfect choice for home use. Two of the world’s greatest grandsThe CLP535 utilises what is known as ‘Real Grand Expression’, which gives you the experience of playing on a grand. The company has sampled two professionally tuned grand pianos - the Yamaha CFX and the Bosendorfer Imperial concert - and combined these recordings to create the digitally-mastered sound. But unlike other digital pianos, who can often sound flat and uninspired, Yamaha has carefully positioned a multi-channel speaker system throughout the instrument, using the piano’s own soundboard to create a full-bodied resonance that has all the timbre of a full-size grand. The bass register is rich and imposing, while the higher notes are bright and clear, creating a balanced soundscape that belies its digital origins. Authentic keyboard actionPlaying an instrument isn’t just about creating the right notes – it’s also about the experience too. So Yamaha have ensured that the playing experience is as authentic as it can be, by utilising a Graded Hammer keyboard that delivers a stunningly real feel. Using this system you get the same kind of tactile response as you would with a full-size grand. The GH3 keyboard uses three-sensor technology to ensure that the key responds precisely to the action of the player. It features an escapement mechanism that recreates the sensation you get when you strike a key, mimicking the fall of the hammer exactly. The keys themselves are crafted from specially developed materials that have all the feel and responsiveness of a proper ivory key, allowing you to be as expressive as you want. An outstanding array of features including Yamaha CFX & Bsendorfer samples offer unprecedented levels of versatility to pianists of all abilities. This also has the added benefit of delivering a much better and more realistic key return during rapid passages. Please call us on 01323 639335 for more information regarding delivery Yamaha have certainly pushed the boundaries of excellence when it comes to digital/acoustic hybrid pianos, and at the top of their range are the AvantGrand digital pianos. In this family of three superior pianos sits the N2, a futuristic digital instrument that also holds on to its identity as a grand. Outstanding quality, superior sound The AvantGrand N2 Hybrid digital piano’s greatest asset has to be the quality of the sound. Normally, digital instruments – no matter how well made – tend to sound ‘digital’, losing that warmth and depth of sound, range and timbre that you get with a traditional instrument that relies on a hammer system. However, because Yamaha have incorporated exceptional quality speakers into the soundboard itself, and retained a unique specialised grand piano action, the result is a well-rounded sound that responds to the touch of the pianist, whether the piece calls for bombastic energy or the subtlest of touches. The Specialized Grand Piano Action in more detail So how does it work? Well, rather than moving away from the benefits of a traditional grand, the digital N2 incorporates them into its structure to give the player a fully authentic experience. The action features the same configuration as a grand, as well as a full 88-key keyboard. The hammers strike the ‘strings’ from underneath, so that tiny weight distribution adjustments affect the motion of the hammers themselves, creating that authentic ‘grand’ sound. This results in a much smoother feel too, and a more responsive keyboard that allows the player to transfer the nuances and subtle adjustments that classical music calls for. In addition to the hammer sensor, it also uses a non-contact key sensor that doesn’t impede on the action of the keys, but enhances the sensitivity of the instrument to the touch of the player. The AvantGrand N2 is definitely focused around the player experience, granting enhanced feedback for a more immersive playing sensation. Tactile Response The advantage of a digital instrument over a traditional acoustic one is that you have the opportunity to embellish the instrument with a wealth of features, and in this aspect the N2 doesn’t disappoint. The N2 includes various piano sounds, as was as a four-channel, multi-speaker system. The integral use of the soundboard ensures that the resonance of the bass notes in particular, reverberates through the instrument and the player’s body, so you can literally ‘feel’ the music for a superior experience. The Tactile Response System (TRS) is unique to the Yamaha range and focuses on reproducing this reverberation effect to its fullest. It does it by using two transducers in the soundboard, so that the reverberation is transmitted directly back to the keys and consequently to the fingers of the player. It also sends the reverberations down through the instrument so that the player will also experience them when they depress the pedals, creating an authentic playing experience. Because the system is a haptic vibration feedback system that’s calibrated to the note frequencies, the effect is much more realistic. This is what puts the AvantGrand range above the majority of digital pianos – the authenticity of the playing experience. It’s literally as close to the real thing as you can get without actually lifting the lid on a genuine acoustic grand! Never out of tune One of the major advantages of a digital instrument is that, unlike its acoustic cousins, it never goes out of tune. So for intermediate home players who want consistency of tone and sound, it’s a winner. The N2 is also relatively compact compared to a full grand – you don’t need a mansion to house an N2, making it ideal for home use. However, it has a depth and richness of timbre that makes it perfectly acceptable for performance playing as well. Put simply, the N2 may be the ‘middle child’ of the AvantGrand range, but it’s probably one of the most versatile instruments on the market today. A player’s piano The N2 is very much a player’s piano, designed to enhance the experience of playing, whether your passion is jazz and contemporary or traditional classical music. With MIDI and USB connections and a comprehensive library to call upon, it also allows you to experiment and push the limits of your creativity. If you want to take your music to the next level, the N2 doesn’t just allow you to expand your skills, it positively encourages you to do so!
