The GP510 retains the same highly responsive hammer action keyboard which was developed in collaboration with German piano maker Bechstein. The original Casio GP500 piano was groundbreaking when launched in 2015. No other instrument offered a full-size piano grand piano keyboard in a digital instrument at a similar price point. The GP510 has improved the original instrument in many ways and is a delight to play. Casio has listened to their customers and the enhancements made in the GP510 are subtle, but most importantly they make the instrument even more enjoyable to play than ever before. The GP510 is a serious contender against Hybrid pianos from other manufacturers which are much higher priced. This should be on your list of pianos to try if an authentic grand piano keyboard touch is important to you. BUY ONLINE OR TRY THE GP510 IN OUR STORES You can either buy the GP510 online or come and try the complete Casio Grand Hybrid piano range in our stores. Our digital piano centres are located in Eastbourne (Sussex Coast), Reigate (Just off JCT 8 M25 motorway in Surrey), and from winter 2019, Milton Keynes - very close to the M1 motorway. Keyboard Action Developed In Collaboration with Bechstein One of the most important factors when choosing a digital piano is the feel of the keyboard (known as the Keyboard 'Action'). A good keyboard action should accurately translate the expression and emotion of the performer through the music. Hybrid pianos are unique because they are fitted with a full-size replica of an acoustic piano keyboard action - it's just the sound which is reproduced digitally. This gives the best opportunity for a more realistic playing experience and it has been proven that Hybrid pianos such as the GP510 are preferred by most players over digital instruments with standard 'emulated' key actions. The GP510's triple-sensor keyboard action was developed by Casio in collaboration with Bechstein - the World-class German acoustic piano builder. Every detail of the key mechanism has been replicated in detail - including long wooden key length, balance pins, fulcrum, escapement, hammer weighting and key return speed. The key action found in the GP510 competes with Hybrid pianos costing many thousands of pounds more. Players should find the transition from digital to acoustic pianos seamless with the Casio Natural Grand Hammer Action Keyboard, which makes it the ideal instrument for beginners and more experienced players alike. Just like many modern acoustic pianos, the white keytops are made of acrylic, whilst the black keys are constructed using Phenol. The response of the piano keyboard can be matched to suit your playing style with five different sensitivity settings. Three Distinctive Piano Voices Using Casio's newly developed AiR Grand sound creation system, the GP510 has three core piano voices - Berlin Grand, Hamburg Grand and Vienna Grand (we'll let you guess which famous piano brands these represent!). Maximum polyphony is 256 notes so you shouldn't experience notes cutting off - even with heavy use of the damper pedal. As with the very best digital pianos on the market, the GP510 piano voices can be tailored to your own taste by altering characteristics such as resonance, action sound, key off simulator and grand piano lid simulator. Additional useful voices The GP510 has more than just piano voices. In fact, there are an additional 35 other useful voices including e.pianos, harpsichords, organs, strings, choir and many more. Two voices can be layered together to create rich sound textures, or choose two voices to split across the treble/bass registers of the keyboard. Save Your Personal Settings With SCENE MEMORIES As well as more voices and an improved cabinet design the GP510 sets itself apart from the lower range GP310 model with the incorporation of Scene Memories. This function allows you to store your own EQ and voice settings to one of ten locations for instant recall - this is a really handy feature. Onboard Sound System & Speakers The Casio GP510 uses a Grand Acoustic System to reproduce the best possible sound. A three-way, six-speaker system is driven by a 30w + 20w x 2 powerful amplifier. In addition to this, the sound is further enhanced with an opening top-board lid and volume sync'd EQ when using headphones. Duet 'Twin Piano' Mode It is possible for two people (for example Teacher/pupil) to sit at the Casio Grand Hybrid piano and play in similar-sounding tonal registers simultaneously. The sound of each 'part' can also be panned to the centre of the stereo spectrum, or hard-left / hard-right to make differentiation between the players more obviousl - this is especially useful when using headphones. Onboard Song Recorder Recording your own performance is both fun and useful - especially if you're learning challenging pieces. The GP510 allows recording of one song consisting of two tracks in the internal memory - with a maximum length of 5000 notes. It is also possible to attach a USB memory stick (not supplied) on which you can record up to 99 songs in .WAV audio format - the ideal medium for sharing your masterpieces with friends and family. Other Useful Features High quality digital effects including Hall Simulator reverb Metronome (20 - 255BPM) Three pedals with half-daming sustain pedal Concert Play audio backing tracks on-board 60 onboard Music Library songs Octave shift Key transpose +/- two octaves in semitone intervals Fine tuning from A=415.5Hz to A=465.9Hz LCD display screen with backlight Auto power off function Line In / Out - 6.35mm (") jack sockets for both MIDI IN/OUT USB to HOST USB to DEVICE Casio GP510 Dimensions The Casio GP510 measures 1434mm(L) x 489mm(D) x 963mm(H) Casio GP510 Weight The Casio GP510 weighs 78.5kg / 173.1 lb

All the important sound characteristics (and imperfections!) of the original instrument have been analysed and recreated in detail. There are also popular Transistor Organ sounds which can be controlled in the original way, as well as 32 high quality classical pipe organ voices. The SKX is the perfect instrument to play a wide variety of musical styles. Percussion & Chrous/Vibrato The original organ percussion sound is present on the SKX and is created using Hammond's exclusive Touch Response Percussion system - just as it is found on the vintage instruments. As the Virtual Tonewheel Generator provides tonal accuracy, the classic "Mechanical Scanner" is precisely Digitally-Modeled, providing the timeless Hammond Chorus-Vibrato effect. The effect may be applied independently to each Manual, and again, nearly every aspect of the effect can be tailored to your taste, including the characteristics relating to "age and wear" so desired by discerning players. LESLIE SPEAKER SIMULATOR 77 years of building Don Leslie's Masterpiece has given us the edge in developing its 21st Century Digital Edition. The HAMMOND'S essential partner is yours at every moment, with 8 factory profiles of the most famous Leslie models (122, 147, et. al.), and 8 User-definable profiles allowing you to tailor the response matching the Hammond you create with its perfect mate. The accuracy of sound is remarkable. Of course, should you wish to hook up a physical Leslie Cabinet, the traditional 11-pin jack is located on the rear panel, and the onboard controls (including the optional CU-1 "half moon" switch) perform exactly as you expect. THE EXTRA VOICE DIVISION The inclusion of Hi-Definition Acoustic and Electric Pianos, Clav, Bass, and Accordion voices compliment the Organ tones, and create in the SKX a comprehensive foundation keyboard, the backbone of any serious keyboard rig. The SKX's keying system replicates the feel of a weighted keyboard when playing piano-type voices, yet remains supple and responsive to every Hammond Organ technique. Stepping further, the most-wanted Orchestral Voices-Strings, Woodwinds and Brass are represented, many featuring Hammond's exclusive ProChord, which brings complex voicing to single key play based on the chords YOU provide. An extensive Library of elective EXTRA VOICES is available without charge from www.hammondorganco.com, to expand the SKX in directions YOU choose. DIGITAL EFFECTS Two independent high-quality DSP units are aboard to provide Overdrive and other multi-effects to both the Organ and Extravoice Divisions. Over Drive Tremolo Auto Pan Wah-Wah Ring Modulator Phaser Flanger Chorus Delay Reverb Other Features OCTAVE SHIFT Digital Control allows flexibility of performance a Vintage Hammond is incapable of. You may independently raise or lower the Upper and Lower Manual's range by one octave, allowing greater comfort of playing. PEDAL SUSTAIN A popular option for playing the Pedals or Manual Bass is Pedal Sustain, which allows the Pedal voice to smoothly decay upon release, much in the manner of a string bass. MANUAL BASS Allows the PEDAL part to be played on the LOWER manual of the SKX. You can choose from 3 modes,: Lowest played note only / Chord / Root notes as discriminated by chord played. LOWER to PEDAL Couples the LOWER manual registration to the PEDAL Part. TRANSPOSE Allows you to shift the entire pitch of the keyboard to match singers, soloists and the other instruments, or to simplify key changes. MASTER EQUALIZER Bass/Mid Gain/Mid Frequency/Treble PROCHORD Certain Extra Voice instruments are enhanced with the ProChord function. This allows complex voicings to be played with one finger, based on chords played on the lower manual. 26 distinct chords are "parsed" by the ProChord function, with proper passing tones provided to insure proper enharmonic continuity. MIDI MASTER KEYBOARD External Zones are available to enable the SKX to be used as a MIDI master keyboard. 3 on the Upper Keyboard, 2 on the Lower Keyboard, and 1 on the Pedal Clavier. USB TYPE "A" PORT A USB Type "A" port is included, intended for saving/loading setups, system updates, downloaded Extra Voice libraries, and the music player. The Music Player allows WAV/MP3 audio files to be controlled and played through the SKX Audio Outputs. LESLIE 11-PIN JACK A standard 11-pin Leslie jack is included on the rear panel. Attaching a Leslie here disables the Digital Leslie effect from the output, and allows the Leslie Cabinet to respond to the onboard Leslie Controls. If the attached Leslie is a 1-channel Model, the EXTRAVOICE Division remains at the LINE OUT Jacks.
