Finance Options

Start owning the musical instrument you want now, today!

If you're set on buying your new instrument, there's no need to get weighed down by the total cost of it straight away. If you break it down into monthly payments over time, it's much more manageable than you might think. And our fixed interest rates mean you'll know exactly what you're paying from the start.

How To Apply For Finance

How it works

The finance options available are displayed on the individual product pages.

Pay a fixed deposit, depending on the price of the purchase. The rest is split into monthly payments up to three years. At the end of your contract when you've made your final payment, the instrument or equipment is all yours. You could own that dream guitar, drum kit or piano sooner than you thought!

Finance is available for selected new and used instruments.

Which Finance Options Are Available?

Most products on our website show the available finance options. Some are interest free, and some are interest bearing. The options shown on the site are an example of what is available - if you would like to pay over a different period, give us a call on 01323 639335 and we’ll try and arrange a finance option that suits your budget.

You can apply for finance online, or over the telephone - call us on 01323 639335 if you'd like to speak to one of our musical instrument experts.

All finance is subject to acceptance by our finance provider and a credit check will be carried out on the applicant.

Call 01323 639335 to discuss finance options in more detail.

We offer our customers the ability to apply for simple finance facilities to fund a purchase from us. Once you are accepted by V12 Retail Finance you will be asked to eSign the credit agreement and once in receipt of your purchase, v12 will make your agreement live and your monthly repayments will commence for the agreed term. In short retail finance gives you the flexibility to buy what you really want now, not just what you can afford today by spreading the cost of your purchase over a repayment period that suits your budget.

Eligibility Criteria

You must: Be at least 18 years of age Have been a UK resident for 3 years or more Be able to make repayments by direct debit Be in regular employment* (minimum of 16 hours per week) including self-employment, or in permanent residence with your spouse/partner who is in regular employment *If you are retired and receive a pension or registered disabled and unable to work, V12 Retail Finance may ask for proof of sufficient income.

Information Required

During the loan application process you will be asked for your personal information such as name, 3 year address history, date of birth, email and telephone contact details and employment/income information. If you are accepted you will also need a credit or debit card registered to you at your address on the credit application so that the lender can carry out an electronic identity check.

Processing Time

With most applications we expect that you will be given an acceptance or decline decision within 10-20 seconds. In some cases the lender may return the decision as ‘referred’. You will then receive an email with further instructions once the underwriters have made a decision. For in store applications you can usually wait in the shop whilst the underwriters review your application. Underwriting hours are between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Friday (excluding Bank holidays), 9am and 6pm on Saturday, and 10am and 5pm on Sunday. If your application is referred outside of these hours then you may have to wait until the next working day for the decision.

For finance orders made online or via mail order we are only able to deliver the goods to the address on your credit agreement (your home address). You will not be able to have the goods shipped to another address or collect the goods from us in person.

Returns & Cancellation Procedure

If you wish to return the order then please refer to our returns policy. If we accept your return we will contact the lender to cancel the credit agreement. We may not able to cancel the finance if the return falls outside of our returns period.

Declined Credit Applications

You will be informed of the decision if the lender declines your application, the lender in unable to share the reason for decline with us. Applications are usually declined for reasons such as:

You do not meet the eligibility criteria (see above);

  • adverse credit reference agency information;
  • your credit score;
  • you are considered to be overcommitted;
  • or your existing account performance with other lenders.

The lender will give you the contact details for the credit reference agency used. They will also give you information on how to appeal the decision if you wish to discuss the matter. Please note that the lender is unable to discuss this over the telephone due to Data Protection rules. You should also note that each lender applies its own credit score to applicants so if you have recently been accepted for credit elsewhere this does not necessarily mean that appealing the decision on this basis alone will result in a change of decision.

Layered Sounds Are The Heart Of MODX7 Each MODX7 preset is actually a layer of multiple sounds known as a Performance. A performance consists of up to 8 parts, each producing a sound which can be layered or split across the keyboard. The resulting sound can then be manipulated using Motion Control. Motion Control Synthesis Engine with 'Super Knob' Motion control synthesis was first featured on MONTAGE and now it has found itself a home in this more affordable instrument. Motion control is unique to Yamaha and allows you to craft new evolving sound textures in real-time by using the Super Knob to change multiple parameters with one smart controller, as well as the Motion Sequencer and Envelope Follower functions. The super knob can be controlled by foot using the optional Yamaha FC7 expression pedal. Motion Sequences Explained Motion Sequences allow you to tempo-sync synth parameter changes such as filter cutoff which change over time. You can use multi-track motion sequences for creating complex, evolving sound textures, never heard before. Panel controls allow you to manipulate motion sequences in real time. What Is The Envelope Follower? The envelope follower allows the MODX7 to use an audio source (such as drum loop) and converts the shape of the audio wave into a source for controlling multiple synthesizer or effects parameters. This might all sound complicated, but in practice it's actually fairly easy to understand and you can create some really cool sounds with the Yamaha MODX. 7" TFT Color Wide VGA LCD touch screen The MODX is fitted with the same size colour touch screen interface that you'll find on the MONTAGE. Live Sets - Quick Access To Your Sounds For the Performing Musician The MODX can has a library of over 5120 performances (known as patches or presets on other instruments), plus internal storage for 640 of your own. The Live Set feature allows you to pull together the sounds you need for a gig or individual song into one place, and save them ready for instant recall. You can create 2048 of your own Live Sets, which is more than enough for even the busiest musician on the road, or in the studio. Multichannel USB Audio Interface, 2-in/10-out Connect MODX to your computer with a single USB cable and send both audio and MIDI data simultaneously. The MODX7 features a built-in 2in/10-out USB audio interface so you can directly record to computer it's internal sounds plus the sound of two external audio inputs such as guitar and vocals. This is compatible with all major music softwares (DAW's) and the in-depth onboard controllers allow you to playback and control your computer software from the front panel. What sets the Jupiter X apart from other synths on the market is that it's possible to load four different accurately modelled vintage or sample-based synths into the memory at one time (plus a drum part). Each of these synths is treated as a completely discreet instrument and all the panel knobs/sliders can be used to control each part independently. In short, the Jupiter X has the potential to layer up a sample-based synth, Jupiter 8, Juno 106, SH101 at the same time. Or, if you want a really MASSIVE sound, why not layer four Jupiter 8's together - something which has until now, not been possible with hardware-based synthesizer keyboards. PART EXCHANGE YOUR KEYBOARD If you already own a keyboard (or some keyboards!) which you would like to upgrade to the new Jupiter X then please email details of what you have to It is helpful if you could attach some photos to your email. More Information About The Roland Jupiter X The next-generation sound engine found in the Jupiter X allows players to delve into the 'back catalogue' of landmark Roland Synthesizers and morph them together to create totally unique sound textures. Nothing has ever sounded like this and we are so excited about the possibilities of sound creation that the Jupiter X will offer. Here are some of the historic Roland Synths which are accurately modelled in the Jupiter X - all of which are available to be morphed and layered together: JUPITER-8, JUNO-106, SH-101, XV-5080, RD pianos, Roland drum machine sounds including those found in the TR-808, TR-909, TR-707, CR-78, plus more. I-Arpeggio Feature JUPITER-Xs cutting-edge I-Arpeggio feature uses artificial intelligence to accompany user performances and inspire new musical ideas. I-Arpeggio takes player-created notes, rhythms, and phrases and uses them to develop complementary drum parts, basslines, chords, and arpeggiated lines in real-time. It works on each of JUPITER-Xs five parts simultaneously, and generated patterns can be customized and even exported to a DAW. Intuitive Control Panel Layout Built for on-the-spot music creation, JUPITER-X features an informative display and an array of large, comfortable knobs, sliders, and buttons. And with the dedicated effects section and quick switching between synth layers, the user can immediately take control of any aspect of a sound. This kind of natural, hands-on control gives players the feeling of reaching in, touching the sound, and instantly shaping it to suit the moment. Sound Structure & Polyphony JUPITER-Xs sound structure includes five parts: four for synths and one for drums. Its engine can power multiple authentic Roland classics like the JX-8P or JUPITER-8 with enough polyphony to create thick layers and complex backing parts. With so much polyphony on hand, users can freely create layered sounds, splits, and backing parts without limiting complex chords or musical ideas.
