Description

Yamaha’s P-125 is the perfect portable piano for use at home or on the road. A simplistic user interface is combined with the authentic sound of a Yamaha concert Grand. The P125 is ready to connect to your iOS tablet computer or mobile phone which enables the use of apps such as Yamaha Smart Pianist V2.0.

Yamaha P125 Dimensions

The keyboard section of the Yamaha P-125 measures 1326 x 166 x 295 mm

Yamaha P125 Weight

The Yamaha P-125 weighs 11.8kg

Natural Piano Keyboard Feel

The beauty of the P125 is that it produces a first-class piano sound and enables you to enjoy playing the piano whenever and wherever you like! The keyboard on the P125 provides a natural piano feel and features the Yamaha Graded Hammer Standard mechanism - this keybed is slightly heavier in the bass registers, and lighter in the treble octaves, just like an acoustic grand.

The Sound Of A Concert Grand

This instrument features the sound of the World-class Yamaha CFIIIS concert grand piano. This piano sound is expressive enough for the most delicate music, and powerful enough to cut through a mix of other instruments. There are also a variety of 23 alternative sounds including acoustic pianos, electric pianos, strings, harpsichord, organs and more.

Other Useful Features

The on-board recorder allows you to record a two-track piece, or record individual hands separately. You can layer two voices together to create rich combinations such as Piano/Strings or Organ/Harpsichord, and it is also possible to split the keyboard to have different voices in upper & lower parts of the keyboard.

Reverb & Chorus effects can be applied to the sound to give warmth & ambience, whilst the built-in drummer provides a choice of 20 rhythms to play along with.

The two-way onboard speaker system is powerful enough for home use, and also useful for small rehearsals and band practices.

Finance Options

Start owning the musical instrument you want now, today!

If you're set on buying your new instrument, there's no need to get weighed down by the total cost of it straight away. If you break it down into monthly payments over time, it's much more manageable than you might think. And our fixed interest rates mean you'll know exactly what you're paying from the start.

How To Apply For Finance

How it works

The finance options available are displayed on the individual product pages.

Pay a fixed deposit, depending on the price of the purchase. The rest is split into monthly payments up to three years. At the end of your contract when you've made your final payment, the instrument or equipment is all yours. You could own that dream guitar, drum kit or piano sooner than you thought!

Finance is available for selected new and used instruments.

Which Finance Options Are Available?

Most products on our website show the available finance options. Some are interest free, and some are interest bearing. The options shown on the site are an example of what is available - if you would like to pay over a different period, give us a call on 01323 639335 and we’ll try and arrange a finance option that suits your budget.

You can apply for finance online, or over the telephone - call us on 01323 639335 if you'd like to speak to one of our musical instrument experts.

All finance is subject to acceptance by our finance provider and a credit check will be carried out on the applicant.

Call 01323 639335 to discuss finance options in more detail.

We offer our customers the ability to apply for simple finance facilities to fund a purchase from us. Once you are accepted by V12 Retail Finance you will be asked to eSign the credit agreement and once in receipt of your purchase, v12 will make your agreement live and your monthly repayments will commence for the agreed term. In short retail finance gives you the flexibility to buy what you really want now, not just what you can afford today by spreading the cost of your purchase over a repayment period that suits your budget.

Eligibility Criteria

You must: Be at least 18 years of age Have been a UK resident for 3 years or more Be able to make repayments by direct debit Be in regular employment* (minimum of 16 hours per week) including self-employment, or in permanent residence with your spouse/partner who is in regular employment *If you are retired and receive a pension or registered disabled and unable to work, V12 Retail Finance may ask for proof of sufficient income.

Information Required

During the loan application process you will be asked for your personal information such as name, 3 year address history, date of birth, email and telephone contact details and employment/income information. If you are accepted you will also need a credit or debit card registered to you at your address on the credit application so that the lender can carry out an electronic identity check.

Processing Time

With most applications we expect that you will be given an acceptance or decline decision within 10-20 seconds. In some cases the lender may return the decision as ‘referred’. You will then receive an email with further instructions once the underwriters have made a decision. For in store applications you can usually wait in the shop whilst the underwriters review your application. Underwriting hours are between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Friday (excluding Bank holidays), 9am and 6pm on Saturday, and 10am and 5pm on Sunday. If your application is referred outside of these hours then you may have to wait until the next working day for the decision.

Delivery

For finance orders made online or via mail order we are only able to deliver the goods to the address on your credit agreement (your home address). You will not be able to have the goods shipped to another address or collect the goods from us in person.

Returns & Cancellation Procedure

If you wish to return the order then please refer to our returns policy. If we accept your return we will contact the lender to cancel the credit agreement. We may not able to cancel the finance if the return falls outside of our returns period.

Declined Credit Applications

You will be informed of the decision if the lender declines your application, the lender in unable to share the reason for decline with us. Applications are usually declined for reasons such as:

You do not meet the eligibility criteria (see above);

  • adverse credit reference agency information;
  • your credit score;
  • you are considered to be overcommitted;
  • or your existing account performance with other lenders.

The lender will give you the contact details for the credit reference agency used. They will also give you information on how to appeal the decision if you wish to discuss the matter. Please note that the lender is unable to discuss this over the telephone due to Data Protection rules. You should also note that each lender applies its own credit score to applicants so if you have recently been accepted for credit elsewhere this does not necessarily mean that appealing the decision on this basis alone will result in a change of decision.

Grand Feel Keyboard Action The CA48 makes use of Kawai’s acclaimed Grand Feel Compact wooden-key action, which includes Ivory Touch key surfaces, Graded Hammers, Let-off Mechanism (sometimes called Escapement), Triple Sensors, and finely-balanced Counterweights. All this combines to create an extremely accurate re-creation of a Grand Piano action, which is a pleasure to play. Stunning Grand Piano Sounds Kawai have included both the beautiful Shigeru Kawai SK-EX and the Kawai EX Concert Grand Piano sounds on the CA48, using their Progressive Harmonic Imaging technology. With 88-key sampling, these piano sounds really are stunning reproductions of two of the very best Grand Pianos around, with every subtle nuance of tone and timbre faithfully captured for a truly dynamic playing experience. Bluetooth MIDI and Apps The CA48 has integrated Bluetooth MIDI which enables you to wirelessly connect a supported smart device and access Kawai’s useful apps. The Virtual Technician App allows you to edit a whole host of elements of the Grand Piano sound (17 different parameters, in fact!), as if you were a skilled tuner/technician, so you’re able to customise the sound to your own personal taste. All the little nuances that combine to create the overall piano sound can be adjusted, such as Damper Resonance, Fall-Back Noise, Hammer Delay, Decay Time, Voicing, Damper Noise, and String Resonance, to name but a few. There are also 10 presets, if you need a little help! The Sound Museum App provides an enhanced user interface for the CA48, making the selection of sounds and the playback of songs much more intuitive than using the control panel buttons alone. It also allows you to store your favourite sounds and settings for easy recall when playing. Lesson Songs The CA48 contains a useful selection of built-in lesson songs and studies, for learning and practice. These tried-and-tested studies and methods are favourites with piano teachers around the world, many of whom have extremely well-used hard copies of these books in their libraries! Studies by Burgmuller, Czerny, and Beyer sit alongside the content of Alfred’s Basic Piano Library Lesson Books, and are a very useful resource. Headphones and Speakers For times when you don’t want others to hear you play, the CA48 features two different-sized headphone sockets and utilises Kawai’s Spatial Headphone Sound (SHS) technology. This is designed to give enhanced depth and quality of sound, as well as guarding against auditory fatigue if you’re playing for a lengthy amount of time with headphones on. The CA48 has a powerful 4-speaker amplification system, comprising 2 x 13cm speakers and also 2 little 5cm tweeters for excellent sound quality across the whole dynamic range of the instrument. Yamaha CLP675 Clavinova Digital Piano; Black Walnut The new CLP675 piano brings together the very best sound and features of Yamaha’s Clavinova digital piano range in a traditional piano style cabinet. Starting with the new GrandTouch piano keyboard, the CLP675 enables the player to give a truly expressive performance. The newly developed 88-key Linear Graded Hammer GrandTouch keyboard features synthetic ebony and ivory keytops. The keystop stabiliser minimises the ‘bounce’ felt on some other digital pianos when the key hits the keybed. The keys also have a deeper travel - akin to that of a concert grand piano. The CLP675 damper (sustain) pedal is equipped with a Grand Piano response system for ultra-realistic pedalling in even the most demanding pieces. The sound of THREE completely different pianos in one instrument The Yamaha CLP675 includes recreations of three World-Class pianos, chosen specifically for different styles and tastes of piano music. The legendary Yamaha CFX full concert grand piano is the pinnacle of Yamaha's tradition of acoustic piano crafting, and the CLP675 captures and recreates the power and versatility of this beautiful instrument. In contrast to the CFX piano sound, the CLP675 includes the mellow, delicate tone of the Bosendorfer Imperial. A new addition for the Clavinova CLP675 is the Yamaha SU7 upright piano voice. The SU7 is the top-of-the-range concert-quality Yamaha upright piano. Sometimes, the voice of an upright piano is more suitable for certain pieces, and the CLP675 gives you the choice of three distinctly different piano voices to suit your performance. Some of the CLP675’s piano voices are further enhanced with Yamaha’s Virtual Resonance Modelling (VRM) technology and duplex scale modelling, which reproduces string reverberations and upper register resonance like no other digital piano in the past. Other Voices For Even Greater Range Of Playing Styles The CLP675 includes a total of 36 different voices ranging from acoustic and electronic pianos, to harpsichords, organs, strings, choir, bass, guitar and vibes. All of these voices can be split or layered across the keyboard range, and also used to create complex compositions and orchestrations using the on-board 16 track song recorder. You can also record both hands independently to aid learning complex passages, or to simply play duets ‘with yourself’. Metronome & Recording Features The built-in metronome is ideal for practice, but is enhanced by the inclusion of 20 drum rhythms to add some extra feeling to your rehearsals. Your own recordings can be stored in the piano’s on-board memory, or saved to USB memory stick for sharing with your friends and sharing online. Binaural Sampling For Enhanced Headphone Output One of the most popular reasons for purchasing a digital piano is the convenience of silent practice when using headphones. Yamaha have worked hard to develop a flawless headphone experience so that playing through headphones is just as enjoyable as when listening to the instrument through it’s own powerful speaker system. BlueTooth Audio Streaming It is possible to stream audio via bluetooth from your favourite music device such as MP3 player, mobile phone or tablet. When combined with Yamaha’s wide range of music performance and tuition apps such as NoteStar, this brings a whole new level of fun and enjoyment. You can stream realistic audio backing tracks to the CLP675’s internal speaker system whilst following the digital music score on your tablet. Enhanced Speaker System The CLP675 features a powerful 210w total output amplification system which powers six individual speakers which are housed in their own dedicated speaker box. This speaker box gives a more ‘hifi like’ sound and the clarity achieved is a cut above lower models in the Clavinova range. Choice Of Cabinet Colour Options The CLP675 is available in Black Walnut, Rosewood, Satin White, Dark Walnut and the prestigious Polished Ebony finishes. The music desk on the CLP675 is fitted with clips to hold music books and sheets in place. See The CLP675 In Our Showrooms You can see and try the CLP675 piano in our fully stocked piano showrooms. Compare with alternative models from other manufacturers and ensure that you are making the right purchasing decision. The CLP675 is available to try in our Yamaha Digital Pianos Surrey showroom located at 46B Albert Road North, Reigate RH2 9EL. We also have a Yamaha Digital Pianos Sussex Showroom which is located at 56 Langney Road, Eastbourne BN21 3JN. Both stores have on-site parking. Yamaha LP1 Pedal Unit For Portable Pianos; Black This unit is designed for use with the Yamaha P121, P125 and P515 pianos when used in conjunction with the official Yamaha wooden stands (avaialble separately). You will also need to purchase the wooden stand, model L-121, L-125, or L-515 dependent upon your piano model. The combination of the pedal unit and wooden stand, along with the Yamaha portable piano keyboard offers the most authentic grand piano playing experience from a low cost instrument. Three Metal Pedals - Just Like An Acoustic Grand The LP1 provides three pedals which behave in the same way as an acoustic grand piano. The right pedal is known as the sustain pedal (also referred to as a "loud pedal" or damper pedal). The sustain pedal is the most commonly used pedal in modern piano playing. When the sustain pedal is pressed, all notes played will continue to sound until the tone naturally ceases, or until the pedal is released. The middle pedal is know as a sostenuto pedal. The function of a sostenuto pedal is similar to that of the right-hand pedal but it only sustains only notes which are depressed at the time the pedal is depressed. The far left pedal is the soft pedal (otherwise known as the una corda pedal). This pedal softens the note and also modifies its tone quality. The effect is very subtle but it results in a slightly duller sound.
