Description

Yamaha PSR-SX900 Keyboard Workstation

The all-new Yamaha PSR-SX900 replaces the popular PSR-S975 keyboard. This isn't just an evolution of an existing instrument, it is a truly revolutionary product which could be described as a 'baby Genos'. The PSR-SX900 is ideal for the traditional home keyboard player with the use of automatic accompaniments using fingered/single fingered chord modes, as well as the modern singer-songwriter studio musician who needs a great sounding keyboard for multitrack recording and composition.

The PSR-SX900 could be thought of as a 'Compact Genos' - Yamaha's flagship workstation keyboard. The ability to layer three voices in the right hand, the high-quality FSB keyboard and powerful speaker system makes this an extremely desirable instrument.

Tony White - Bonners Keyboard Specialist

The PSR-SX900 is equally happy being used on stage by the performing musician. Features such as high-quality vocal harmony, audio song file player, playlist mode and four (stereo L&R + 2 x subs) solid ¼" jack audio outputs make this the ideal keyboard for public performances.

PART EXCHANGE YOUR KEYBOARD!
If you already own a keyboard which you would like to upgrade to the new PSR-SX900 then please email details of what you have to partex@bonnersmusic.co.uk. We'll get right back to you with a part exchange valuation and you could have the new SX-900 in your hands quicker than you first thought! We offer great part exchange values and it saves you the hassle of selling your keyboard on the private market.

BUY ONLINE OR TRY THE SX-900 IN OUR STORES
Before we tell you any more about this great keyboard, we wanted to let you know that you can either buy online or come and try the PSR-SX900 in our stores. Our keyboard centres are located in Eastbourne - Sussex, and from winter 2019, Milton Keynes - very close to the M1 motorway.

HIGH QUALITY ACCOMPANIMENT STYLES
There is no doubt that the arranger styles found in Yamaha instruments are amongst the very best you'll hear from any keyboard, and the PSR-SX900 certainly doesn't disappoint. Many of the styles are taken directly from the flagship Genos keyboard, but it doesn't stop there. Yamaha has included a whole lot more styles which are new and unique to the PSR-SX900.

INTUITIVE TOUCHSCREEN OPERATION
The functions of the PSR-SX900 are easy to navigate using the simple and familiar touchscreen interface. Finding your way around the menus is a simple matter, and the additional six assignable 'soft keys' located under the screen allows you to jump directly to the pages you use the most with a single press.

The PSR-SX-900 may be a mid-range model, but unlike other manufacturers, Yamaha has not cut down on the number of hardware buttons in order to save costs. Popular functions such as 'sustain' and 'left hold' are accessible directly from the front panel, without the need to go digging into the menu system.

Located to the left of the panel are two 'live control' knobs which can be assigned to your favourite functions, such as filter cutoff, effect depth, part volume, attack, and many others.

CHORD LOOPER
Found a nice set of chords and just want to 'jam' around? Learning a difficult passage and need to practice the right-hand part independently? The chord looper function is for you! The chord looper instantly memorises a set of chords you play in realtime and then endlessly loops them whilst you jam around or practice a melody line over the top. This feature is particularly useful for songwriters, as well as students learning challenging musical passages.

AUDIO & MIDI RECORDING
Instantly record your performance using the onboard song recorders. Audio recording allows you to record in .WAV format directly to a USB memory device for easy sharing with your friends or family. You can also overdub extra parts using the audio recording function, although these are not editable once recorded.

MIDI recording allows you to create compositions made up of up to 16 different instrument tracks. This is a true onboard multitrack recording studio with onboard individual note editing which allows you to correct mistakes or re-record parts as and when required. When you are happy with your masterpiece, songs recorded using the MIDI recording feature can be converted to audio for simple sharing with other people or publishing to the web.

BLUETOOTH AUDIO STREAMING
The built-in Bluetooth connectivity allows you to stream your favourite music tracks through the SX-900's powerful speaker system. Use this to play along to backing tracks, or simply for listening pleasure.

EXPANSION MEMORY
In addition to the 4GB of memory allocated to the high-quality preset sounds, there is an additional 1GB of free space for you to install downloadable sound expansion packs from the manufacturer website.

OTHER USEFUL FEATURES
Audio link multipads gives the ability to fire off samples using the four multipad buttons - add real-life audio to your performances. The arpeggiator can be sync'd to the tempo of the internal styles to add more grooves and rhythmic phrases to your performance.

The high-resolution touchscreen can be output to an external monitor for easier viewing (with the use of a commercially available USB adaptor) - especially useful if you're singing along to the lyrics display.

The powerful vocal harmony (VH2 standard) processor adds studio-quality effects to a vocal microphone input, as well as authentic vocal harmony based upon the chords being played on the keyboard, or can be controlled by one of the song tracks.

The PSR-SX900 is loaded with a total of 1393 high-quality voices, of which 252 are Super Articulation, meaning they capture all the nuances of the real instruments. The new joystick controller gives full four-way X-Y control over pitch bend, modulation and other assignable characteristics of the voices.

Finance Options

Start owning the musical instrument you want now, today!

If you're set on buying your new instrument, there's no need to get weighed down by the total cost of it straight away. If you break it down into monthly payments over time, it's much more manageable than you might think. And our fixed interest rates mean you'll know exactly what you're paying from the start.

How To Apply For Finance

How it works

The finance options available are displayed on the individual product pages.

Pay a fixed deposit, depending on the price of the purchase. The rest is split into monthly payments up to three years. At the end of your contract when you've made your final payment, the instrument or equipment is all yours. You could own that dream guitar, drum kit or piano sooner than you thought!

Finance is available for selected new and used instruments.

Which Finance Options Are Available?

Most products on our website show the available finance options. Some are interest free, and some are interest bearing. The options shown on the site are an example of what is available - if you would like to pay over a different period, give us a call on 01323 639335 and we’ll try and arrange a finance option that suits your budget.

You can apply for finance online, or over the telephone - call us on 01323 639335 if you'd like to speak to one of our musical instrument experts.

All finance is subject to acceptance by our finance provider and a credit check will be carried out on the applicant.

Call 01323 639335 to discuss finance options in more detail.

We offer our customers the ability to apply for simple finance facilities to fund a purchase from us. Once you are accepted by V12 Retail Finance you will be asked to eSign the credit agreement and once in receipt of your purchase, v12 will make your agreement live and your monthly repayments will commence for the agreed term. In short retail finance gives you the flexibility to buy what you really want now, not just what you can afford today by spreading the cost of your purchase over a repayment period that suits your budget.

Eligibility Criteria

You must: Be at least 18 years of age Have been a UK resident for 3 years or more Be able to make repayments by direct debit Be in regular employment* (minimum of 16 hours per week) including self-employment, or in permanent residence with your spouse/partner who is in regular employment *If you are retired and receive a pension or registered disabled and unable to work, V12 Retail Finance may ask for proof of sufficient income.

Information Required

During the loan application process you will be asked for your personal information such as name, 3 year address history, date of birth, email and telephone contact details and employment/income information. If you are accepted you will also need a credit or debit card registered to you at your address on the credit application so that the lender can carry out an electronic identity check.

Processing Time

With most applications we expect that you will be given an acceptance or decline decision within 10-20 seconds. In some cases the lender may return the decision as ‘referred’. You will then receive an email with further instructions once the underwriters have made a decision. For in store applications you can usually wait in the shop whilst the underwriters review your application. Underwriting hours are between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Friday (excluding Bank holidays), 9am and 6pm on Saturday, and 10am and 5pm on Sunday. If your application is referred outside of these hours then you may have to wait until the next working day for the decision.

For finance orders made online or via mail order we are only able to deliver the goods to the address on your credit agreement (your home address). You will not be able to have the goods shipped to another address or collect the goods from us in person.

Returns & Cancellation Procedure

If you wish to return the order then please refer to our returns policy. If we accept your return we will contact the lender to cancel the credit agreement. We may not able to cancel the finance if the return falls outside of our returns period.

Declined Credit Applications

You will be informed of the decision if the lender declines your application, the lender in unable to share the reason for decline with us. Applications are usually declined for reasons such as:

You do not meet the eligibility criteria (see above);

  • adverse credit reference agency information;
  • your credit score;
  • you are considered to be overcommitted;
  • or your existing account performance with other lenders.

The lender will give you the contact details for the credit reference agency used. They will also give you information on how to appeal the decision if you wish to discuss the matter. Please note that the lender is unable to discuss this over the telephone due to Data Protection rules. You should also note that each lender applies its own credit score to applicants so if you have recently been accepted for credit elsewhere this does not necessarily mean that appealing the decision on this basis alone will result in a change of decision.

Our keyboard centres are located in Eastbourne - Sussex, and from winter 2019, Milton Keynes - very close to the M1 motorway. HIGH QUALITY ACCOMPANIMENT STYLES The PSR-SX700 is equipped with 400 styles (backing accompaniments) which follow your playing in using various chord scanning modes. There is no doubt that the arranger styles found in Yamaha instruments are amongst the very best you'll hear from any keyboard, and the PSR-SX700 certainly doesn't disappoint. Many of the styles are taken directly from the flagship Genos keyboard. INTUITIVE TOUCHSCREEN OPERATION The functions of the PSR-SX700 are easy to navigate using the simple and familiar touchscreen interface. Finding your way around the menus is a simple matter, and the additional six assignable 'soft keys' located under the screen allows you to jump directly to the pages you use the most with a single press. The PSR-SX-700 may be a mid-range model, but unlike other manufacturers, Yamaha has not cut down on the number of hardware buttons in order to save costs. AUDIO & MIDI RECORDING Instantly record your performance using the onboard song recorders. A Hybrid Piano usually refers to a digital piano that has the keyboard action and mechanism taken from a traditional acoustic piano. This results in a more authentic touch and musical experience for the player when comapred with traditional digital-only pianos. The sound is generated electronically, so Hybrid pianos never require tuning and the other regular maintenance associated with acoustic pianos. Hybrid pianos such as the Kawai Novus NV10 allow the use of headphones for the times when you want ot practice without disturbing other people in the household or neighbouring properties. Quite simply, the Novus NV10 gives you all the benfits of a digital piano, whilst retaining the delicate, responsive touch of a traditional acoustic grand. Keyboard Action, Hammers & Dampers The felt hammers in the NV10's action have been replaced with ABS equivalents, and are individually graded in weight form the bass register to the treble, resulting in long-lasting reliability without compromising performance. Optical sensors take the place of the piano strings, and accurately measure the velocity and speed of the hammer movements to give a ensure a natural response is achieved by the performing musician. The NV10 is the first Hybrid piano from any manufacturer to feature a real grand piano damper mechanism. Although there are no strings in the NV10, the inclusion of traditional felt dampers reproduces the weighting of a grand piano sustain pedal, and also eases the keyboard's resistance when the pedal is pressed. This particular feature is unique to the Kawai NOVUS NV10 and has not been included in hybrid pianos from other manufacturers. Sound Reproduction The NOVUS NV10 features the sound of the Shigeru Kawai SK-EX concert grand piano. This particular piano is one of the finest grand pianos in the World, and is authentically recreated in the NV10. This piano sound is used in other high-performance Kawai digital pianos, but in the NOVUS NV10, it is further enhanced by 1-bit processing, premium dual DACs, and DIDRC filter and amplification technology powered by Japan’s leading high-end audio manufacturer, Onkyo. Quite simply, there is no other digital grand piano avialable that has the specification or performance of the Novus NV10. You will be able to see the Novus NV10 as soon as it is available in our Kawai Piano Shops: Kawai Piano Shop Surrey: Bonners Piano Centre, 46B Albert Road North, Reigate, Surrey, RH2 9EL: Tel: 01737 242174 Kawai Piano Shop Sussex: Bonners Music Superstore, 56 Langney Road, Eastbourne, East Sussex, BN21 3JN Tel: 01323 639335 On-site parking is available at both our piano stores.
