We are thrilled to transform our Newcastle piano showroom into a stage for an extraordinary evening of classical music. On Thursday 26th February 2026, we’re honoured to host Iyad Sughayer, one of the most compelling classical pianists of his generation, for an intimate in-store concert featuring the stunning Yamaha S6x grand piano.

Iyad will be performing a carefully curated programme that showcases his remarkable technique and emotional depth. Expect a captivating performance followed by the chance to meet Iyad, hear about his musical journey, and enjoy a relaxed conversation about his work and inspirations.

Up Close with a World-Class Pianist

Doors open at 5:00pm, giving you time to enjoy a play on some of our beautiful pianos in the showroom before the concert begins. The performance will run from 6:00pm to 7:30pm, and light refreshments will be served.

Seating is limited and unreserved. With only a small number of tickets available, this is a rare opportunity to experience world-class classical piano music up close in a unique and intimate setting.

  2. We will contact you by email on Friday, 20th February 2026 to confirm if your ticket request has been successful. You’ll need to reply within 48 hours to secure your place - otherwise your tickets may be offered to someone else.
  3. Once we’ve received your confirmation, we’ll issue your ticket(s).

About Iyad Sughayer

Iyad Sughayer is widely recognised for his refined musicianship, combining profound musical insight with technical brilliance. His performances have been described in the international press as both deeply expressive and captivating, earning praise from International Piano Magazine, Gramophone and BBC Music Magazine. He has performed in prestigious venues such as Wigmore Hall and the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, and collaborated with leading orchestras including the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra and the BBC National Orchestra of Wales.

Yamaha S6x Grand Piano

For this exclusive performance, Joe will be playing the Yamaha S6X hand-crafted grand piano – an instrument renowned for its rich tonal depth, expressive power and meticulous Japanese craftsmanship. Designed for the concert stage, the S6X allows every nuance of Joe’s artistry to shine through, making this a rare opportunity to hear a world-class pianist paired with one of Yamaha’s finest instruments in an intimate setting.
