Product Warranty Claims

Warranty Cover

All brand new products purchased from Bonners Music are supplied with a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated on your proof of purchase. Warranty periods for second-hand, ex-demonstration and clearance products vary and will be shown on the individual product page or your sales receipt.

This warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Some manufacturers also offer extended warranties on selected products. Where applicable, details will be shown on the individual product page. Extended warranties normally require you to register your purchase directly with the manufacturer within a specified period after purchase.

Making a Warranty Claim

If you believe your product has developed a fault during the warranty period, please complete our online Warranty Report Form below.

To help us diagnose the problem as quickly as possible, please include a description of the fault together with photographs or a short video where appropriate. This often enables us to resolve issues without the need to return the product.

Once we have confirmed that the product is faulty, we will arrange the appropriate remedy in accordance with the warranty and your statutory rights.

On-Site & Return to Base Warranties

Some larger products, such as digital and acoustic pianos, are supplied with an on-site warranty. Where applicable, this will be shown on your sales receipt.

All other products are normally covered by a Return to Base (RTB) warranty.

Please note that on-site warranties only apply to products located within the UK. If an item is permanently exported after delivery, on-site warranty cover will no longer apply.

Warranty Exclusions

The Bonners warranty does not cover:

  • Consumable items, including (but not limited to) guitar strings and reeds.
  • Damage caused by accidental damage, misuse, neglect or unauthorised repairs.
  • Cosmetic damage or deterioration caused by normal wear and tear.
  • Damage caused by exposure to excessive moisture, humidity, heat, sunlight, fire or other environmental conditions.
  • Damage caused by modification or servicing carried out by anyone not authorised by Bonners Music.
  • Products where the serial number has been removed, altered or defaced.

Nothing in this warranty excludes or limits your statutory rights.
