If you're looking for a stylish portable piano with excellent sound and keyboard feel, the PX-S1000 should be high on your list. A keyboard with escapement simulation is unprecedented at this price point. Tony White - Bonners Piano Specialist 88 Note Weighted Piano Keyboard When choosing a digital piano, the 'feel' of the keyboard is just as important as the overall sound quality. The keytops are textured to which prevents fingers from slipping after a prolonged period of playing. Five different touch sensitivity levels mean you can tailor the response to suit your own playing style. Acoustic Piano Simulator First and foremost, the PX-S1000 is designed to recreate the experience of playing a grand piano, but in a portable form. The Acoustic Simulator function gives you detailed control over parameters including String Resonance, Damper Resonance, Key-Off Response, Key Action Noise and Damper Noise. In fact, there's so much control over the acoustic piano sound that it's like being your own Piano Technician. 18 On-Board Sounds There are a total of 18 onboard sounds in the PX-S1000 which include acoustic pianos, e.pianos, organs, harpsichord, strings, bass voices and others. It is possible to layer two voices together or create a split keyboard where you have a bass voice on the left hand and another sound on the right. Total polyphony is a maximum of 192 notes (this is the number of notes which can sound simultaneously). Digital Effects To Enhance The Sound The popular Hall Simulator feature gives the experience of playing in a large concert hall, stage, cathedral and other ambient buildings. In addition to this, standard reverb, chorus, brilliance and DSP can be used to enhance the sound of the PX-S1000 further. Record Your Performance The PX-S1000 is equipped with an onboard recording feature which allows you to store up to 10 songs in the internal memory. The recorder is two-track, which means you can either record two different sounds for over-dub style recording or record both hands individually when learning a difficult passage or piece of music. Pedals A Casio SP3 foot pedal is included in the box for the most important sustain function, but if you purchase the optional CS68P wooden stand, you can also add the optional SP34 triple piano pedal unit to give you three pedals - just like a real grand piano! Dual Headphone Output The PX-S1000 is fitted with two headphone outputs so that you and a friend can practice the piano together without disturbing others in the household. Internal Speakers and Separate Line-Output Jacks As well as a rich sounding 8w + 8w internal amplification/speaker system, the PX-S1000 is also fited with quarter-inch stereo line output jacks for connection to external amplification systems. JHS Pedals The Bonsai 9 Way Screamer Overdrive Effects Pedal JHS Pedals The Bonsai 9 Way Screamer Overdrive Effects Pedal
£219.00

JHS Pedals The Bonsai 9 Way Screamer Overdrive Effects Pedal The Tube Screamer has undoubtedly been the most popular and listened to drive pedal since it was thrust on the scene in 1979. It remains equally as popular today amongst many famous guitar players as it did when players like Stevie Ray Vaughan shot it into the stratosphere! Nine pedals In One! The tube screamer went through various changes over the years, and each incarnation has its own following. Models like the TS808 and TS9 have been iconic for some time, but others, such as the TS10, followed quickly with a huge fan base. Now JHS pedals have conveniently put the most recognisable and best sounding versions of these into one pedal. Unrivalled Quality As with all JHS pedals, the Bonsai is built to a very high standard, with top quality components, true bypass switching and consistency that comes with buying a new American made pedal. The tolerances of the components can now be selected so every pedal will sound the same, something that mass-produced pedals 40 years ago couldn't match. 9 Clicks For A Different Fix! TS-808 1979. This is the classic sound many blues and rock players are after. Like many you can put it in front of a Vintage style amp on the edge of breaking up for a bluesy sound, or another popular method is to boost your mids on an already overdriven amp to rock out with the best! TS-9 1982. Famed for it's use by guitarists such as The Edge and probably the most famous model of the bunch. The TS-9 has a very similar sound to the TS-808 but underwent some very small changes in the output circuit to the original. You'll notice more of a push in the lower mids and a slightly more modern sound. MSL, Power or L Series 1985. The MSL mode delivers a high gain sound with a powerful low-end and compression. spongier and darker than the TS7 (+mode) If you found yourself at a metal gig last minute, this mode could help get you there! TS-10 1986. The TS-10 is the favoured Tube Screamer for many including John Mayer and Josh Smith. It was also known to be a big favourite for Gary Moore and SRV who both used it later in their careers. It offers a slightly upgraded version for a more bluesy and crisp tone with excellent low-end roll off and low gain. Exar OD-1 1989. The Exar OD-1 was a TS-style overdrive pedal made in Poland, offering a slightly different drive character with a little more gain than classic tube screamers. This overdrive also offers a slightly more transparent feel, providing a nice mix of overdriven and clean soundscapes. It's the winner if your zone for tone is firmly in the Carlos Santana province. TS-7 (+mode) 1999. The TS-7 +mode offers the highest gain sound, but be sure your fixtures and fixings are secure before selecting this mode! Designed with an incredible amount of low-end and dirt, the TS-7 is the ideal choice for delivering killer shred tones and licks of doom. Keeley Mod Plus 2002. The Keeley Mod Plus offers the classic mod Robert Keeley used to tighten up the original’s tone, delivering an incredibly smooth mid-range and high-end, with increased bass response. JHS Strong Mod 2008. The JHS Strong Mod mode delivers JHS’ own modification they’ve used since 2008, offering a cleaner and overall more powerful sound than the other modes. The Strong Mod provides the pedal with a pronounced high and low-end drop-off. No Modelling Here! With the Bonsai's ability to switch between the circuits, it will deliver authentic analogue tone! So put the Bonsai on your board and enjoy the whole timeline of original tube screamers alongside some of the best-modded versions around! Why Bonners? Here at Bonners Music, you have the opportunity to try one of these great JHS effects pedals yourself. Just give us a call on 01323 636141 or better still, visit our showroom! If you can't see the JHS pedal listed that you are after just call 01323 636141 for availability and the BEST PRICE.

Yamaha PSR-SX900 Keyboard Workstation The all-new Yamaha PSR-SX900 replaces the popular PSR-S975 keyboard. This isn't just an evolution of an existing instrument, it is a truly revolutionary product which could be described as a 'baby Genos'. The PSR-SX900 is ideal for the traditional home keyboard player with the use of automatic accompaniments using fingered/single fingered chord modes, as well as the modern singer-songwriter studio musician who needs a great sounding keyboard for multitrack recording and composition. The PSR-SX900 could be thought of as a 'Compact Genos' - Yamaha's flagship workstation keyboard. The ability to layer three voices in the right hand, the high-quality FSB keyboard and powerful speaker system makes this an extremely desirable instrument. Tony White - Bonners Keyboard Specialist The PSR-SX900 is equally happy being used on stage by the performing musician. Features such as high-quality vocal harmony, audio song file player, playlist mode and four (stereo L&R + 2 x subs) solid " jack audio outputs make this the ideal keyboard for public performances. PART EXCHANGE YOUR KEYBOARD! If you already own a keyboard which you would like to upgrade to the new PSR-SX900 then please email details of what you have to partex@bonnersmusic.co.uk. We'll get right back to you with a part exchange valuation and you could have the new SX-900 in your hands quicker than you first thought! We offer great part exchange values and it saves you the hassle of selling your keyboard on the private market. BUY ONLINE OR TRY THE SX-900 IN OUR STORES Before we tell you any more about this great keyboard, we wanted to let you know that you can either buy online or come and try the PSR-SX900 in our stores. Our keyboard centres are located in Eastbourne - Sussex, and from winter 2019, Milton Keynes - very close to the M1 motorway. HIGH QUALITY ACCOMPANIMENT STYLES There is no doubt that the arranger styles found in Yamaha instruments are amongst the very best you'll hear from any keyboard, and the PSR-SX900 certainly doesn't disappoint. Many of the styles are taken directly from the flagship Genos keyboard, but it doesn't stop there. Yamaha has included a whole lot more styles which are new and unique to the PSR-SX900. REVO DRUMS Revo Drums is a feature which debuted on the Genos back in 2017 and has now found its way down to the lower-priced PSR-SX900. In short, Revo Drums rotates or 'cycles' numerous different samples of the main drum sounds whilst a rhythm is playing. This means that every hit of the snare drum, cymbals, bass drum etc is slightly different and results in a more human feel to the automatic backings. INTUITIVE TOUCHSCREEN OPERATION The functions of the PSR-SX900 are easy to navigate using the simple and familiar touchscreen interface. Finding your way around the menus is a simple matter, and the additional six assignable 'soft keys' located under the screen allows you to jump directly to the pages you use the most with a single press. The PSR-SX-900 may be a mid-range model, but unlike other manufacturers, Yamaha has not cut down on the number of hardware buttons in order to save costs. Popular functions such as 'sustain' and 'left hold' are accessible directly from the front panel, without the need to go digging into the menu system. Located to the left of the panel are two 'live control' knobs which can be assigned to your favourite functions, such as filter cutoff, effect depth, part volume, attack, and many others. CHORD LOOPER Found a nice set of chords and just want to 'jam' around? Learning a difficult passage and need to practice the right-hand part independently? The chord looper function is for you! The chord looper instantly memorises a set of chords you play in realtime and then endlessly loops them whilst you jam around or practice a melody line over the top. This feature is particularly useful for songwriters, as well as students learning challenging musical passages. AUDIO & MIDI RECORDING Instantly record your performance using the onboard song recorders. Audio recording allows you to record in .WAV format directly to a USB memory device for easy sharing with your friends or family. You can also overdub extra parts using the audio recording function, although these are not editable once recorded. MIDI recording allows you to create compositions made up of up to 16 different instrument tracks. This is a true onboard multitrack recording studio with onboard individual note editing which allows you to correct mistakes or re-record parts as and when required. When you are happy with your masterpiece, songs recorded using the MIDI recording feature can be converted to audio for simple sharing with other people or publishing to the web. BLUETOOTH AUDIO STREAMING The built-in Bluetooth connectivity allows you to stream your favourite music tracks through the SX-900's powerful speaker system. Use this to play along to backing tracks, or simply for listening pleasure. EXPANSION MEMORY In addition to the 4GB of memory allocated to the high-quality preset sounds, there is an additional 1GB of free space for you to install downloadable sound expansion packs from the manufacturer website. OTHER USEFUL FEATURES Audio link multipads gives the ability to fire off samples using the four multipad buttons - add real-life audio to your performances. The arpeggiator can be sync'd to the tempo of the internal styles to add more grooves and rhythmic phrases to your performance. The high-resolution touchscreen can be output to an external monitor for easier viewing (with the use of a commercially available USB adaptor) - especially useful if you're singing along to the lyrics display. The powerful vocal harmony (VH2 standard) processor adds studio-quality effects to a vocal microphone input, as well as authentic vocal harmony based upon the chords being played on the keyboard, or can be controlled by one of the song tracks. The PSR-SX900 is loaded with a total of 1393 high-quality voices, of which 252 are Super Articulation, meaning they capture all the nuances of the real instruments. The new joystick controller gives full four-way X-Y control over pitch bend, modulation and other assignable characteristics of the voices. We have two musical instrument shops. Our first store has been located in Eastbourne (East Sussex) since 1976 and is where you'll find our full range of guitars, amps, keyboards, digital pianos, digital drums and music school. If you're looking to purchase a piano, then you should consider visiting our Specialist Piano Centre in Reigate (Surrey) where you will find one of the largest range of new and used acoustic pianos, digital pianos and stage/portable pianos in the UK. Both of our store locations have free, on-site parking. Our award-winning stores are most definitely the place to come for great instruments and experienced advice.

Our line of electric guitars include classics from those names that have been the backbone of music for decades. Brands such as Gibson, Fender and Gretsch have a long history of being the chosen instruments for acts such as Jimmy Page, B.B. King, Jimi Hendrix, Keith Richards, Eric Clapton and many more. The new range of Fender Vintera Guitars is proving to be very popular due to their traditional pickup configurations, neck shapes and colours which are true to the original iconic guitars from the 1950's, 60's and 70's.

A Gibson Les Paul electric guitar has a truly timeless appeal. With its origins in the 50s, the guitar pioneer Les Paul helped to design this famous guitar, which has become one of the most familiar instruments seen in music. Now's your chance to own your own Les Paul, with models from a range of different brands. You'll find a selection of these timeless guitars to suit a range of budgets, with models from both Gibson and Epiphone.

A brand that is on a par with Gibson for its familiarity is Fender. Played by musicians in the fields of jazz, country, rock, pop and many more styles, the Fender Stratocaster and Fender Precision Bass are true all-rounders. These incredible instruments are just a small part of the extensive selection that you can order in-store and online from Bonners Music. We have a great stock of electric and acoustic guitars and basses from brands such as BC Rich, Dean, Washburn, Encore, ESP and more!

We have a great range of pianos, digital pianos, keyboards and accessories such as piano stools too, with a selection for beginners, intermediate players and professionals. Roland has always been an industry leader in innovative musical instruments and audio equipment.
