Casio AP710 Digital Piano The Casio AP710 is a new model digital piano which features the same stunning piano tones as the popular Casio Grand Hybrid pianos, and a Tri-sensor Scaled Hammer Action Keyboard II. The piano sound was developed in collaboration with renowned German piano manufacturer - C. Bechstein. The Casio AP710 offers high-end quality piano sounds at a mid-range price. The Hall Simulator is one of my favourite features - the beautiful French Catehdral sounds has to be heard to be believed! Tony White - Bonners Piano Specialist Responsive Keyboard Action As well as three beautiful piano voices, the Casio AP710 is equipped with their Tri-sensor Scaled Hammer Action Keyboard II. The full range of 88 notes are provided - just the same as an acoustic grand piano. Each key has three sensors which pick up every nuance of your performance, and the key surfaces have simulated ebony and ivory keys for a authentic touch. The hammer response can be adjusted to one of ten levels to match the player's unique touch, or switched off completely for when playing organ voices. Three Beautiful Piano Voices Just like the flagship Grand Hybrid models, the AP710 features three distinctive piano voices - Vienna, Hamburg and Berlin. Each one of these piano voices has multiple variations (twelve in total), so you're sure to find the right voice for different styles of piano music - including classical, romantic, jazz, pop, contemporary and more. There is, of course, a range of other voices including strings, harpsichord, organ (and many more!) which can be played individually, layered two together, or split across the keyboard. Korg SV2 Stage Vintage Piano; 88 Keys The Korg SV2 is the new keyboard we have been waiting in anticipation for many years now. It's been ten years since Korg launched the first Stage Vintage SV1 model which proved to be an extremely popular instrument for musicians on many levels. The original SV1 was known for it's cutting edge vintage E.Piano and Clav sounds - and we're happy to say the new SV2 retains these iconic tones. So what's different? I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to preview the SV2 a few weeks before it's launch. As an original SV1 player I was delighted to find that the SV2 retains the same high-quality Vintage keyboard sounds including my favourite Clav, plus the vacuum tube which gives a warmth to the tone which is unmatched by any other stage piano. The new acoustic piano sounds and triple-layer capabilities make this a strong contender for my new "go-to" performance piano. Tony White - Bonners Piano Specialist The SV2 has been loaded with TEN TIMES the amount of sample data which was in the original instrument, which means that the range and quality of sounds in all areas have been improved significantly. The SV2 retains the same Korg RH3 keybed which is a joy to play - it captures every nuance of your performance. SV2 offers the ability to split/layer up to three voices at one time (using the SV2 editor on MAC/PC) and split points are changeable from the front panel. There are now 72 sounds on board and polyphony has been increased to 128 voices. Part exchange your SV1 or another instrument If you're the owner of the original Korg SV1, then we are sure you'll want to upgrade to the new SV2, and Bonners offers a convenient solution to do this. We can take your existing SV1 (or another instrument) in part exchange for a new SV2 - all you need to do is email us details of what you have to partex@bonnersmusic.co.uk and we'll get right back to you with a trade-in valuation. Please state the condition of your keyboard (photos help!) and also if you have the original box and packaging. Your existing SV1pedals and case are 100% compatible with SV2, so you can keep hold of these if you're sticking with the same keyboard length. What makes SV2 so good? Korg has put every effort and ounce of their knowledge of sampling techniques into creating the new sounds found in the SV2. Beautiful grand pianos from around the world including instruments from Italian, German, Japanese and Austrian manufacturers (guess the brands!) have been faithfully recorded to bring the highest quality piano experience to SV2 players. Our favourite Korg SV2 Features 74 On-Board Sounds and more available via the free software editor Ability to layer or split three voices 128 voice polyphony High German, Italian, Austrian and Japanese RX piano voices Some of the best effects we've seen on a stage piano 12AX7A vacuum tube adds warmth and grit to the sound In addition to acoustic pianos, SV2 has the very best E.Piano samples onboard - every nuance of the sound has been preserved through Korg's RX sampling techniques. The RH3 key action provides a connection between touch and sound which is un-surpassed and is often overlooked by digital piano manufacturers. The Korg SV2 has a great selection of 'other voices' which make it the complete keyboard for the gigging musician. Beautiful orchestral string sounds (as impressive today as the Kurzweil strings we heard back in the 1990s), synth pads, synth leads, church & cathedral organs, choirs, cutting edge brass sounds and of course the legendary M1 piano sound - they're all there and ready to be configured to your own musical taste using the onboard effects, EQ, and 12AX7A vacuum tube. Easy To Use At Home or On Stage The SV2 has no LCD display screen - after all, it is a 'vintage' instrument! Every function and tone has a button, knob or switch which means you can make changes to your sound 'on the fly' and you won't even need to open the owner's manual to begin creating your own unique tones. On-Board Effects - That Matter! Keyboard players need effects to create their own unique 'voice', and the Korg SV2 delivers some of the best on-board FX engines to allow you to do this. As we've already said, the 12AX7A Valve gives a warmth to the overall tone which cannot be replicated with solely digital effects. The valve also gives a unique crunch to the distortion and overdrive effects which help your sounds cut through the mix on stage or in the studio. The 3-Band Equalizer gives you control of your tone to match the mix - whether competing with other musicians on a loud stage or when recording in the studio. There are high-quality modulation effects available at your fingertips, including various chorus models, phasers, flanger and rotary. The PRE-FX section provides a compressor, treble boost, u-vibe, tremolo and VOX Wah (only Korg can provide a true VOX wah effect because they own the company and the brand!). There are of course overall effects including reverb, delay and a stereo limiter to provide that overall 'polished' feel. All effects are easy to control from the front panel of the SV2 and can also be controlled using the SV2 editor (see below). Input & Output Connections All the standard inputs & outputs that you would expect a modern musical instrument to have are available on the rear panel of the SV2. Both " jack and balanced XLR outputs are present (this means you don't need a DI box when connecting to a stage box or mixer). Headphone socket provides monitoring capabilities in the studio, at home or on stage and the traditional 5 pin MIDI in & out jacks, as well as USB, provide a connection to other devices such as computers, tablets or sound modules/synths. There are three pedal connections - damper, pedal 1 and pedal 2. Korg's DS-2H damper pedal is included in the box and this provides ha;f-pedalling facility. The pedals can be independently assigned to different functions such as effects control, wah pedal, rotary fast/slow, as well as traditional piano functions such as sostenuto and soft pedal. SV2 Computer Editor Software Korg provides a free downloadable editor for both Windows and MAC PC's. The editor software gives additional controls for creating your own individual layered and split voices. The SV2 editor also gives access to hundreds of additional voices which are not immediately available form the front panel of the instrument. All settings made using the editor can be saved to the instrument, including your own custom 'favourites' - there are 64 memory locations in total to store your own patches. This feature also enables fellow SV2 users to exchange sounds and we understand Korg pans to release future voice libraries and content for the SV2.

Vox AC15C1-G12C Ltd Edition Guitar Amp One of the quickest and easiest ways to change the sound of any amplifier is to change the speaker. The various differences in materials and build process create unique personalities in both frequency and response. For example, some speakers will embellish the top-end treble for clarity, while others might subdue those higher frequencies for a warmer overall sound. Furthermore, different build materials change the way a speaker responds to your playing. Some speakers have a more aggressive response, making the amp more dynamic, while other speakers offer a naturally compressed, slower response, making the amp slightly less dynamic, but more forgiving and bluesy. With that in mind, VOX is proud to announce their latest limited edition line of Vox AC15 amps, equipped with Warehouse Guitar Speakers's G12C model! Completely handmade in Kentucky, USA, the G12C is part of Warehouse's American Vintage series which lends a unique, American flavor to the iconic British chime of the AC15. These speakers provide a punchy low-end and distinctively clear top end that is still dynamic and sensitive. These limited-edition amps also feature a limited vintage-style tolex covering for a more refined appearance. Check these out today instore at Bonners Music and see what happens when you mix one of history's most popular British amplifiers with one of the best names in boutique USA handmade speakers. When Less is More First introduced in 1958, the Vox AC15 combo has been the amp of choice for countless guitar players throughout the world. Drawing on more than 50 years of amp-building expertise, the AC15C1 Custom Series offers maximum tonal dexterity. An Evolution in Tone The VOX AC15 Custom Series amp offer two channels: Normal and Top-Boost. Each channel is equipped with its own Volume control, and the Top Boost channel offers highly interactive Treble and Bass tone controls. This powerful channel pairing provides an abundance of tone-crafting control, letting you dial in a classic sound that is all your own. Both channels rely on the Tone Cut and Volume controls in the Master section. The Tone Cut control operates in the power stage rather than the preamp stage, allowing an additional degree of tone-shaping. The Master Volume control works in conjunction with the individual volumes of each channel to create just the right degree of gain-staging. By balancing the individual and Master volumes, the Custom Series can deliver everything from a clean VOX “chimey” sound to a powerful overdriven tone. Sound in Motion You can sweeten the sound of the AC15 Custom Series using the VOX Classic Tremolo effect. Both the speed and the depth are adjustable, allowing you to generate just the sound you want. A warm Spring Reverb is also included, adding spaciousness to the sound. All AC15 Custom amps can use the VOX VFS2A footswitch, allowing you to turn the Reverb and Tremolo effects on and off as you continue to play. Power Sharing The AC15 Custom Series makes use of 3 x 12AX7 preamp tubes. A pair of EL84 tubes in the power stage drives 15 watts of power through a single 12” Warehouse G12C Speaker. All models in the Custom Series offer a switchable 8/16 ohm jack for powering an external speaker cabinet when you need to speak with a little more authority; using this jack will mute the internal speakers. Additionally, a 2nd output jack – the extension speaker jack - allows you to run an extra 16 ohm cabinet along with the internal speakers for a fuller sound. Way Huge Smalls Green Rhino Overdrive Guitar Effects Pedal The Greenfather In the world of overdrive pedals, nothing is quite as lauded as the Ibanez Tube Screamer. That little green box is one of the most widely used and highly regarded pedals ever to be conceived. Naturally, it is also one of the most widely imitated pedal designs in existence too. The Green Rhino Mk.V Smalls is Way Huge’s tasteful, yet distinct homage to this titan of the pedal industry. The Exact Hue of the Beast The Green Rhino Mk.V is a fantastic overdrive pedal that can slot in to any pedal board. The pedal provides gain which is saturated in beautiful clarity and glorious mid-range goodness. Whether the pedal is pushing and focussing an overdriven amp or simply lightly laid over a clean guitar tone, it will add precision and character. The tone control has a lot of sway on this pedal as well. It has been designed to be far reaching and dynamic allowing the pedal to sit exactly where you would like, tonally speaking. Where Way Huge have taken a stride away from the crowd is in the pedals simple to use, yet deeply effective flexibility controls. A Rhino that does Yoga One of the most killer aspects of this pedal comes from its “freq” and “curve” controls. The main controls alone are enough to inject a powerful and pretty punch into your rig. Way Huge went above and beyond with the two aforementioned smaller controls either side of the tone control. Firstly, the “freq” or frequency control. This control allows you to influence the specific fundamental characteristics of the pedal. The iconic “mid-hump” drive usually achieves its beautiful make-up by providing a hump in the mid-range frequencies around the 500Hz range. With the frequency control, you are able to manipulate the amount of push this frequency receives. With the knob at 12 o’clock it has the standard amount of boost but you can turn it either counterclockwise or clockwise to provide a cut or a boost. To make it even more powerful, there’s an internal control inside to choose between controlling the 500Hz point in the frequency range or the 100Hz point. This allows control over the signature “mid-hump” or the lower mids providing a boost or cut to the bassier section of your tone. Again, the focus is on control and flexibility. You can use the controls for flavour or for taming/boosting a specific guitar or amp. The “curve” control is a little more simplistic but just as useful. This control targets the high-end of the frequency spectrum. You can use it to curtail the harshness that can sometimes arise with certain amp/guitar/pedal combinations. This allows a final and specific defence against harshness. Smaller Footprint, Same Rhino This Green Rhino is part of Way Huge’s Smalls family. The Smalls line is a new line of pedals which takes some of the companies’ existing designs and places them within a much smaller footprint. This decrease in size makes them much more accommodating to a wider array of pedal boards whilst, crucially, perfectly preserving the same lauded tone and character. So, although this Rhino may be notably smaller, it still carries the same weight.
