Kawai GL30 ATX II Silent Grand Piano The Kawai GL30 Anytime ll offers all the features of the GL series grand pianos, along with the convenience and benefit of being played with headphones, so as to not disturb neighbours or the rest of the household. Kawais Millennium III keyboard action is matched in innovation by the silent system, which allows the player to play the instrument digitally, through headphones, hearing the authentic sound of Kawais EX Concert Grand Piano, along with many more. Authentic Tone The ATX II Silent system includes highly realistic samples of Kawais EX Concert Grand Piano, which has been recorded in a purpose-built chamber, capturing the most authentic sound possible. Harmonic Imaging (HI-XL) gives this model the largest sample size on any Kawai digital piano. This generates a more realistic attack at the beginning of each note, and is able to pick up on many more natural resonances and characteristics missed in other digital instruments. All 88 keys of the EX Concert Grand have been sampled in great detail, giving a truly impressive and accurate sound. Touch Where other silent system locate their sensors under the keybed, Kawai have integrated theirs within the keyboard action itself, giving a much more accurate portrayal of the movements of each individual hammer as the piano is being played. This Integrated Hammer Sensing System (IHSS) allows the player to play silently, without sacrificing the quality of the feel of the acoustic instrument. Easy To Use With a slide-out panel and LCD screen, the silent system is very easy to use. It offers features such as transpose, metronome, recording, and a good selection of voices to play with. Other Features of the ATX II Anytime System Include: Built-in effects (chorus, tremolo, delay, auto-pan, amp sim) and reverb (6 environments) USB & MIDI connectivity MP3 Audio Playback & Record LINE-level audio & MIDI jack connectivity Integrated Lesson Function Power Saving when inactive The GL30 sits in the middle of Kawais introductory grand piano series. Kawai GX1 Grand Piano At just 166cm in depth, the Kawai GX1 Grand Piano offers an excellent insight into the GX Series of Premium quality Grand Pianos from Kawai. With all the features of the flagship GX7, including the best quality woods and felts, and the extended Millennium III Action, the GX1 is an affordable compact Grand suited to both beginners and those seeking the best quality touch and tone from their instrument. Expressive Touch As well as incorporating Kawais ground-breaking Millennium III Action, the GX1s key length has been increased considerably. The fulcrum distance is greater than in typical Grand Pianos, and as such the key pivot length is extended. In simpler terms, this keyboard allows for the most expressive control imaginable, whether you are playing at the very tip of the key, or towards the back. This consistent touch feels light, and extremely responsive, allowing for the slightest nuances in playing to be heard and felt. Tonal Purity The woods used in the production of the GX1 go through a rigorous selection process, with only the very finest being selected. For the soundboard, woods selected will generate the rich and deep bass tones as well as the resonance and sparkle in upper registers, whereas woods used for the bridges, ribs and even inner-rims are carefully considered before selection to ensure maximum durability and power. Premium Grand Piano hammers are used in the production of the GX1, made with felts from the best Oceanian wool. The delicate, soft exterior allows for easy pianissimo playing, while the tough, rigid interior is saved for fortissimo playing, giving you the best of both worlds across a vast range of dynamics. The hammers are also under-felted, which adds resilience and also means the hammers can be voiced in a way that maximises the tonal output of the instrument. Long-Lasting Durability Improvement to the overall rigidity of the GX1 thanks to an increased thickness in the wooden beam connected to the outer rim gives the piano a more immersive sound, along with exceptional tensile strength, supporting even the most expressive playing with ease. The strength of the carbon steel tuning pins also means the piano has excellent tuning stability. Other Features Duplex Scaling, Enhancing the harmonics in the middle and upper registers and depth to the overall sound Premium Neotex Coating on black and white keys this absorbs moisture and enhances touch control Multi-angle prop lid Kawais Soft Fall System Dimensions of the Kawai GX1 Depth 166cm Width 150cm Height 102cm Ordering A Brand New Kawai From Bonners When purchasing your piano, we are usually able to arrange delivery within 14 days (if not sooner) on models we have in stock. Delicate exterior to the high quality hammer felts and rigid, dense interiors allow for a wide range of dynamics to be played at ease, in conjunction with Kawais extended keyboard length. Expressive Touch As well as incorporating Kawais ground-breaking Millennium III Action, the GX2s key length has been increased considerably. Tonal Purity The woods used in the production of the GX2 go through a rigorous selection process, with only the very finest being selected. For the soundboard, woods selected will generate the rich and deep bass tones as well as the resonance and sparkle in upper registers, whereas woods used for the bridges, ribs and even inner-rims are carefully considered before selection to ensure maximum durability and power. Premium Grand Piano hammers are used in the production of the GX2, made with felts from the best Oceanian wool. Long-Lasting Durability Improvement to the overall rigidity of the GX2 thanks to an increased thickness in the wooden beam connected to the outer rim gives the piano a more immersive sound, along with exceptional tensile strength, supporting even the most expressive playing with ease. The strength of the carbon steel tuning pins also means the piano has excellent tuning stability. Other Features Duplex Scaling, Enhancing the harmonics in the middle and upper registers and depth to the overall sound Premium Neotex Coating on black and white keys this absorbs moisture and enhances touch control Multi-angle prop lid Kawais Soft Fall System Dimensions of the Kawai GX2 Depth 180cm Width 152cm Height 102cm Ordering A Brand New Kawai From Bonners When purchasing your piano, we are usually able to arrange delivery within 14 days (if not sooner) on models we have in stock. This consistent touch feels light, and extremely responsive, allowing for the slightest nuances in playing to be heard and felt. Tonal Purity The woods used in the production of the GX3 go through a rigorous selection process, with only the very finest being selected. For the soundboard, woods selected will generate the rich and deep bass tones as well as the resonance and sparkle in upper registers, whereas woods used for the bridges, ribs and even inner-rims are carefully considered before selection to ensure maximum durability and power. Premium Grand Piano hammers are used in the production of the GX3, made with felts from the best Oceanian wool. Long-Lasting Durability Improvement to the overall rigidity of the GX3 thanks to an increased thickness in the wooden beam connected to the outer rim gives the piano a more immersive sound, along with exceptional tensile strength, supporting even the most expressive playing with ease. The strength of the carbon steel tuning pins also means the piano has excellent tuning stability.
