Casio Digital Pianos

Featuring innovative, imaginative and affordable instruments, the Casio range of digital pianos is well worth exploring. We are delighted to bring you an extensive collection of Casio digital pianos here at Bonners Music including the Celviano and Privia series together with Casio CDP Pianos. Incorporating the very latest technology, this collection delivers impressive models to please both beginners and experienced musicians.

About Casio

Founded in 1946, Casio began by producing a finger ring which incorporated a cigarette holder! This innovative piece was perhaps more interesting than genuinely useful! However, Casio was to move on to experience enormous success with its calculators and wristwatches which offered the latest technology at incredibly reasonable prices.

In 1980, Casio began applying its technological expertise to musical instruments. The Casiotone 201 was the first Casio electronic keyboard but a succession of keyboards followed, reflecting advances in technology and Casio’s track record for innovation. Today’s instruments deliver high quality sounds and exiting features for all players.

Casio Celviano Digital Pianos

Celviano pianos offers state of the art technology housed in traditional cabinet designs. Celviano Pianos seek to replicate the feeling of playing a real acoustic piano and their attractive look makes for an excellent addition to the home. The scaled hammer action means that the weight of every key is relative to the pitch – just like an acoustic model. You can control the length of reverberation and you will appreciate the rich, resonating tones.

Casio Privia Digital Pianos

Small and compact, Privia models perfectly complement contemporary lifestyles. Offering an authentic piano feel with streamlined and portable designs, Privia pianos are ideal additions to the home and the rehearsal room but would also grace the stage. All Casio Privia Digital Pianos feature Casio's tri-sensor keyboard technology for expressive and nuanced playing and a raft of functions controlled via the touchscreen display.

Casio CDP Digital Pianos

Authentic piano playing experiences and lightweight design set the CDP series models apart. With incredible functionality including built-in rhythms, voices and effects, these instruments enable you to fully explore your creativity and musical expression.

Acoustic Simulator This is a fantastically detailed section of the instrument, which enables you to really customise the piano sound and response to your own personal taste. The Acoustic Simulator allows you to add/change subtle nuances found within a traditional acoustic piano, such as Hammer Response, String Resonance, Damper Noise, Key Action Noise, Damper Resonance, and more. USB Audio for Recording and Playback The Casio AP470 has the facility to playback and play along with Audio files from a USB stick, which is great fun for both practice and performance. Play along with backing tracks or your favourite music downloads, or just sit back and listen to the music playing through the pianos great speaker system. You can also record your own performances straight to a USB stick - and then share them wherever you like! Chordana Play Piano App This is a new app, for both iOS and Android, which lets you easily control certain functions of the AP470 from your phone or tablet, view PDF sheet music files, and learn new pieces or songs. Concert Play Songs & Lesson Function The AP470 contains 10 Listen/Lesson/Play songs, in a section which Casio call Concert Play, as well as a library of another 60 songs which have the lesson-type function of being able to isolate individual parts for left or right hand practice. The AP470 comes complete with a book of music for these pieces, which are also available digitally within the Chordana app. Headphones and Speakers For times when you dont want others to hear you play, or you dont want to disturb the neighbours, the AP470 features two headphone sockets. The AP470 has a powerful 4-speaker 20W + 20W amplification system, comprising 2 x 12cm speakers and also 2 little 4cm tweeters for excellent sound quality across the whole dynamic range of the instrument. The top lid also lifts up, which helps spread the sound in a really natural manner.
