More Information about the Yamaha P525
World-Class Piano Voices with Binaural Sampling
The P-525 lets you enjoy playing with the voices of the CFX - Yamaha’s top-flight concert grand piano and the piano of choice at competitions around the world—the warm tones of the Bösendorfer Imperial grand piano and many more noted pianos, all on a single instrument. In addition, binaural sampling was used for the Bösendorfer Imperial and the Yamaha CFX to offer a stunning experience when playing with headphones.
There are 44 Voices available for your own performance, including harpsichord, organ, e-pianos, strings, choir, bass and synthesizer sounds.
Bluetooth & SmartPianist App Compatibility
Not only is the P525 compatible with Yamaha's SmartPianist App to give you simplistic control using the touchscreen of your smart device, but it also connects wirelessly using the built-in Bluetooth technology. The P525 is compatible with the latest music-making & tuition apps for iOS and Android devices, and it also offers wireless audio streaming through the instrument's powerful speaker system.
Metronome & Built-In Drummer!
The P525 has a built-in metronome for practice and 40 drum rhythms with a bassline to make rehearsals more fun!
Recording Features
You can record your own compositions using the built-in recording function. A choice of high-quality audio recording (for sharing with your friends) or 2 track MIDI recording (for editing on a computer) is available. Record Audio directly to a USB memory stick (not supplied).
Share Your Performance
If you want to take a video of your performance and share it on platforms such as YouTube or TikTok, Yamaha's Rec’n’Share APP is the way to go. Connect the P-525 to your smart device and record both video and audio simultaneously. A cable connection is required. Make sure to purchase the correct cable for your smart device.
Registration Memories
Registration memories provide a way of storing your favourite settings on the piano. For example, you may like to play a particular piece using a piano voice mixed with the choir. Once you have set up the sound combination and adjusted the levels of each voice, you can store this as a 'registration' for instant recall. It saves you time and is a convenient way to set up the piano quickly - and is particularly useful during live performances.

The P525 is supplied with a robust FC3 single pedal for sustain/damper, but Yamaha also provides the optional portable FC35 triple pedal, or the LP1A triple pedal unit, which fixes to the L515 stand.

01737 242174We offer a variety of flexible delivery options tailored to your location and the type of instrument you purchase. We aim to dispatch most in-stock standard-sized packages within 1 working day of receiving payment. Please note that we currently ship to the UK mainland only.
Pre-Orders and Out of Stock Items
If you order a product that is out of stock, we will contact you to confirm the lead time once we receive your order. This is especially convenient for popular or new products when demand is high.
Standard Size Packages
For standard-size packages, we use a range of third-party courier services to deliver goods as efficiently as possible. All items require someone to be present to receive the goods and provide proof of delivery. This is especially important for high-value items.
If you are not home, the courier may leave your parcel in a secure location and provide photographic proof, though this is at the courier's discretion and often not possible for high-value goods. If a delivery cannot be completed, our partners will make up to two attempts before returning the goods to our warehouse. Please be aware that a fee applies for any necessary re-delivery.
For larger items or those requiring delivery to locations such as the Scottish Highlands, offshore islands, or parts of Wales and Northern England, surcharges and longer delivery times of up to 10 days may apply.

Digital Piano & Large Item Delivery
As a specialist piano retailer, we provide two distinct tiers of service for digital piano deliveries to the UK mainland. - Economy Delivery: Our fastest service for digital pianos. Your instrument is delivered flat-packed in a box to your doorstep between 8am and 6pm. Because these boxes can weigh between 60kg and 120kg, you will need to have someone available to help you move the instrument into your home and sign for the delivery.
- Premium Delivery & Setup: This premium service includes professional assembly by our experienced team. We will build your piano in your home, set up any purchased stools, and take away all packaging for recycling. We will coordinate a convenient delivery date and a two-hour time slot with you.
Acoustic Piano Deliveries
Acoustic pianos are delicate instruments that require professional handling with the utmost care. We use specialist piano delivery teams with years of experience to safely deliver upright and grand pianos. We can handle most situations, from a simple drop off to upstairs installations, and even locations where crane access is required.
Ahead of your piano delivery, we will ask you to complete our Piano Delivery Questionnaire to confirm a few details about access to your property and where the piano will be positioned. This will help us ensure your new instrument is delivered safely, efficiently, and without risk to either our team or your piano.
Removal of Existing Acoustic Pianos
If you have an old piano that you no longer require, we can arrange for its professional collection and disposal. Our specialist teams ensure the removal is handled safely without damaging your property.
- Disposal Service: Prices for piano collection and disposal start from £99.
- Part Exchange: If you are upgrading, we may be able to offer a part exchange value against your new purchase.
Please contact our team to discuss the specifics of your old instrument so we can provide an accurate quote and coordinate the removal with your new delivery.
