We're Moving Our Eastbourne Store!

Bonners Staff Photo outside new Eastbourne store

We would like to thank all our customers for their support, loyalty and patience during the past 18 months. It’s great that so many people managed to keep playing their pianos and guitars at home during the lockdown periods, which we hope has had a positive effect on mental wellbeing. We are delighted too that music venues are now reopening and musicians can get back to performing on stage.

As we find ourselves returning to normal at Bonners, we have an announcement – a new chapter for our Eastbourne store. We are moving….. relocating the long established Bonners Music Eastbourne and bringing our two fresh brands, Bonners Guitar Store and Bonners Piano Centre, together under one roof.

We’re not going far, we’re staying local – our new store will be located in the Hampden Park retail area of Eastbourne - right in between B&Q and Aldi. Our existing store will close Tuesday 3rd August, and we will reopen on Saturday 7th August in our new premises.

So why the big move?

Well, we’ve been listening – not to the media but to our customers – about what requirements a modern guitar and piano store needs to provide in 2022 and beyond.

It seems there are plenty of customers who still appreciate the benefits of a visit to a specialist enthusiast-staffed retailer rather than going online. Whether it’s your first piano or guitar, the purchase of a new prestigious instrument, the right accessory for your needs, setting up and maintaining your instrument, or to discuss a technical issue, it’s reassuring to know there’s an experienced team of staff who can help you out.

Our new shop will bring together what we already offer and add some benefits that we hope will add convenience. Without the hustle and bustle of the town centre (not to mention the parking issues!), we feel our new location will enhance your shopping experience.

Here’s what our new store will offer:

  • All the top guitar brands including Gibson, Epiphone, Fender, Ibanez, Martin, PRS and more
  • Huge range of acoustic pianos, digital pianos and keyboards from brands including Yamaha, Kawai, Feurich, Roland, Hammond, Nord, Casio, Korg, Kurzweil and more
  • Dedicated, individual guitar and piano showrooms with more instruments than ever before on display, all set up ready to try
  • Martin Guitars 'Heritage Centre' - dedicated room full of Martin acoustic guitars
  • Guitar & Amp test booth
  • A large free customer car park – with easy loading and unloading
  • A relaxing shopping environment with more space
  • An enlarged and more extensive guitar workshop facility
  • Customer toilets
  • Easy to reach by road, bicycle, bus, or train (we're right next to Hampden Park railway station)

Come and visit our new store!

We are looking forward to welcoming both new and regular customers to our new facility – we’ve got ambitious plans and we'd love you to come down to visit us as soon as we open on Saturday 7th August (the paint might still be wet!)

Opening Date: Saturday 7th August 2021

The new address is: 9 Faraday Close, Eastbourne, BN22 9BH

We look forward to seeing you at the new store soon!

Tony, Myke and the team
