It All Begins With The Piano
At the heart of the DGX670 is one of the World's finest grand piano voices - the Yamaha CFX. The sound of this piano has been meticulously sampled and includes Yamaha's VRM (Virtual Resonance Modelling), Key-Off samples and smooth release articulations in order to provide the most accurate representation of an acoustic piano. The sound is delivered in high-definition detail through the powerful speaker system built into this instrument, and the player has full expressive control through the 88 note Graded Hammer (GHS) keyboard.
Over 600 Voices & Drums Kits
The Yamaha DGX670 is equipped with over 600 instrument voices and drum kits covering almost every genre of music from all over the World including Organs, Accordions, Guitar & Bass, Strings, Choir, Brass & Woodwind, Synth Sounds, Sound Effects, Percussion Instruments & Drums. Any combination of two voices can be layered or split across the keyboard as desired, and your favourite sound selections can be stored as registrations for instant recall.
260+ Music Styles with Full Backing Band Accompaniment
Whether you want to play Pop, Rock, Dance, R&B, Ballads, Jazz, Country, Blues, Latin, World Music or something Entertaining, the DGX670 offers over 260 built-in music styles with full accompaniment that can follow the chords you play on the keyboard. Various chord recognition modes are available including Single FInger, Fingered, On-Bass, Multi-Finger or Full Keyboard so you are sure to find a mode that suits your playing style.
Each accompaniment style has four main variations, plus Intro, Ending and break options. There are also four One Touch Setting presets for every style which choose an appropriate voice selection for each music style - meaning you spend less time setting up the instrument and more time making music!
The accompaniments can be re-voiced, and re-mixed as required to suit the tune you're playing and these make a great foundation for composing your own music or for creating backing tracks to sing-along or play-along with another instrument.

The song player features allows you to playback both MIDI and .WAV audio files with Vocal Cancel, pitch shift and time stretch functions available,.
The onboard USB Audio Interface means you can record directly into your computer at 16 Bit Stereo 44.1kHz Stereo. No additional hardware required - just a simple USB cable.
