On Thursday, 4th May 2023, Hammond Organ Europe has teamed up with Bonners Music (the UK distributor for Hammond Suzuki instruments) to bring you an afternoon and evening of 100% Hammond. Starting at 3pm and running through to 9pm, it will be your opportunity to come along, play the gear, meet product experts, and get some hints & tips about how to get the most from your Hammond instrument.
Let's face it, there aren't many opportunities to get hands-on time with the latest music gear nowadays, and this is a very special chance to hear all the latest Hammond gear in one place. Free refreshments and snacks will be served throughout the event.
Hands-On Time 3pm-7pm
You are welcome to arrive anytime from 3pm-7pm for hands-on time with all the latest Hammond instruments and Leslie Speakers. This is the perfect opportunity to compare models, check the features and feel the real Hammond sound.
Tech Support & Advice From Our Experts 3pm-7pm
Our three Hammond experts will be on hand to answer your questions and offer support to new and existing Hammond players. This is your chance to meet Dirk Van der Linden - Hammond Europe, Tony White - Bonners Music, and Nick Foley (nickfoleyuk.com). All three are pro-level Hammond players and can offer you hints, tips and advice about how to get the best from the latest Hammond gear.
On-Stage Demo with Dirk Van Der Linden 7pm-8pm
At 7pm, expert Hammond product specialist & demonstrator Dirk Van Der Linden. Dirk will be demonstrating some of the musical possibilities of the SKX Pro, SK Pro and the new XK-4 organ. Dirk will also be joined by a pro drummer to really get the Hammond Groove going! Enjoy complimentary drinks whilst watching Dirk's presentation and the unique use of Hammond instruments in a live performance environment.
After the on-stage presentation has ended (approx 1 hour), there will be more time for you to get up close with the instruments. The event will finally close at 9pm.
