It introduces three sound engines working together: AWM2 for incredibly realistic acoustic instruments, FM-X for dynamic and complex digital tones, and the brand-new AN-X engine, which recreates the warmth and character of classic analogue synthesis. With a huge 400-note polyphony and expanded waveform memory, the Montage M delivers a truly vast sound palette.

Sound quality is enhanced further by Yamaha’s updated Pure Analog Circuit 2, which offers greater clarity and presence across all frequencies, making performances feel rich and immersive. The intuitive controls, including a responsive touchscreen, ribbon controller, assignable knobs and sliders, and Yamaha’s unique Super Knob, give performers hands-on command of their sound in real time.

In addition to its stage power, the Montage M integrates perfectly with modern studios. Its Expanded Softsynth Plugin allows the hardware to function like a software instrument inside your DAW, while the built-in USB audio/MIDI interface provides professional connectivity without the need for extra equipment.
