Boss Katana 100 Gen 3 Guitar Amp Head and 2x12 Extension Cab | Second Hand
Professional 100-watt guitar amplifier head paired with a matching 2x12 expansion speaker cabinet and wireless Bluetooth expansion adapter.
The Boss Katana Gen 3 platform represents the third generation of the brand's solid-state and DSP amplifier architecture. Engineered to provide flexible tonal shaping, high-output power handling, and seamless digital integration, this series builds upon established Tube Logic technology to deliver organic valve-style response alongside modern performance features.
This complete half-stack package pairs a 100-watt amplifier head with a matching 2x12 extension cabinet loaded with custom-voiced drivers, alongside the included Bluetooth Audio MIDI Dual Adapter (BT-DUAL). The amplifier head houses an integrated 5-inch internal monitor speaker for un-cabbed practice, variable Power Control settings (0.5W, 50W, 100W), an FX loop section, USB-C connectivity, and dedicated line-out routing for direct recording and front-of-house integration.
Amplification & DSP Processing
-
Tube Logic Architecture: Updated Gen 3 DSP processing delivers enhanced dynamic response, Tube Logic character, and expanded amp character options, including the Pushed voicing.
-
Variable Power Control: Selectable wattage attenuation (0.5W, 50W, 100W) allows for cranked-amp dynamic response and tone at lower volume levels.
-
Onboard Effects Engine: Five independent effects sections (Booster, Mod, FX, Delay, Reverb) allow simultaneous processing powered by Boss digital signal processing.
Wireless Control & Cabinet Integration
-
Included Bluetooth Adapter: BT-DUAL expansion unit enables wireless audio streaming and mobile parameter editing via the Boss Tone Studio app.
-
Matching 2x12 Extension Cabinet: Heavy-duty enclosure fitted with dual custom 12-inch speakers engineered for balanced projection and tight low-end response.
-
Comprehensive Connectivity: Features USB-C audio output for direct recording, an external FX loop for outboard hardware, line out with cab emulation, and an integrated 5-inch monitor speaker for standalone practice.
