The new Kawai MP7 SE stage piano is a high-quality performance piano keyboard. The MP7SE not only offers superb acoustic and electronic piano tones, but also hundreds of great ‘other’ sounds which make this the ideal versatile piano keyboard for use on stage or in the studio. Handy real-time controllers make for easy sound shaping, and the bright backlit 128 x 64 LCD display along with LED panel buttons mean you’ll find this keyboard easy to use even on the darkest of stages! You can even add the new Grand Feel GFP-3 triple pedal (additional cost) for a life-like grand piano experience.
Kawai MP7-SE Keyboard Action
The MP7-SE is fitted with the acclaimed RH3 Action. The RH3 keyboard features let-off (just like an acoustic grand), and has ivory touch key surfaces which make it a joy to play over prolonged periods of performance. The triple sensors capture every nuance of your performance, and the counterweights ensure the return of every note is fast and balanced.
The Sound of THREE Kawai Grand Pianos
Kawai has packed the MP7SE with their very best piano samples. The flagship sound is that of the Shigeru Kawai SK-EX concert grand. This powerful piano tone has enough body to cut through the mix when performing on stage, whilst still capable of delivering a truly expressive performance when required. This is certainly one of the best piano samples in the current range of digital pianos from all the major manufacturers.
In addition to the SK-EX Concert Grand, there are samples from the studio-sized SK5 grand which is ideal for popular music. The EX Concert Grand piano sound is also present – this tone has become a popular favourite with owners of Kawai digital pianos over the past few years and we’re pleased it has been included in the new MP7 SE model.
USB Audio Player / Recorder
The MP7SE allows recording of internal sounds to an external USB storage device (not included). It is also possible to playback pre-recorded files in .WAV or .MP3 formats.

The 256-note polyphony of the Kawai MP7-SE means you’ll never suffer from notes dropping out – even when you’ve layered multiple sounds and using copious amounts of sustain pedal!
256 Sounds / 4 Zones & 256 User Memory Slots
There are 256 different sounds in the MP7SE covering genres such as pianos, organs, clavs, strings, brass, synths, woodwind, orchestral and more. It’s possible to layer/split up to four voices together using the independent keyboard zones, or you can assign a zone to an external sound source such as a MIDI sound module or another keyboard which gives even more flexibility on stage.
Once you’ve set up your sounds, it is possible to store the complete keyboard setup to a user memory location. There are a total of 256 user memories for storing your own setups. These setups can be named and instantly recalled during a performance.
Tonewheel Organ Sounds
If you need quality tonewheel drawbar organ sounds, the MP7SE delivers in this department too. It’s possible to create your favourite classic organ tones using the on-screen drawbars. Add the rotary speaker effect and a little overdrive, and you have a convincing sound of a screaming Hammond organ!
Customise Your Own Piano Tones Using the Kawai Virtual Technician
The MP7SE includes Kawai’s Virtual Technician feature for creating your own unique piano tones. Alter characteristics of the core piano samples including damper resonance, individual note tuning, individual note voicing, hammer noise, string resonance and more. Save your own customised piano sounds to the internal memory for recall later.

There are 140 editable effects in the MP7-SE including reverbs, chorus, delays, modulation effects and even an amp simulator to add a bit of ‘dirt’ to your electric piano tones. The global 4-band EQ means you can adjust your overall tone to suit the environment in which you’re playing.
Simultaneous bidirectional MIDI & USB-MIDI
It is possible to stream MIDI data to external devices connected to both the traditional 5pin MIDI connectors and USB-MIDI socket at the same time. This means you could be triggering sounds from another MIDI-equipped keyboard whilst simultaneously playing a VST softsynth from your laptop.
Pro Quality Inputs & Outputs

We aim to dispatch most in-stock standard-sized items within 1 working day of receiving payment. Larger instruments and specialist deliveries may require additional scheduling time, and our team will contact you directly to arrange them.

Pre-Orders & Out of Stock Items
If you order a product that is temporarily out of stock, we will contact you as soon as possible to confirm the expected lead time.

Digital Piano Deliveries
As a specialist piano retailer, we offer two levels of delivery service for digital pianos and larger boxed instruments.
Because many digital pianos weigh between 60kg and 120kg, these deliveries are handled differently from standard parcels.
Economy Delivery
Our Economy Delivery service provides fast mainland UK delivery of your piano in its original flat-packed carton.
- Delivery is typically made between 8am and 6pm
- The piano will be delivered to your doorstep or ground floor entrance
- Assembly is not included
- You will need assistance available to help move the instrument into your property
Delivery Charges - New Digital Pianos
Delivery charges for new boxed digital pianos range from FREE to £49, depending on postcode area.
Some lower-value products supplied in particularly large cartons may carry a delivery charge of £25, which will be clearly shown at checkout.
Agency-Supplied Digital Pianos
Certain digital pianos are supplied directly by the manufacturer on an agency basis. Delivery charges for these products range from FREE to £175, depending on product type and delivery location.

All deliveries require somebody to be available to receive and sign for the goods, particularly for high-value items.
If delivery cannot be completed, the courier will normally make up to two delivery attempts before returning the goods to our warehouse. Re-delivery charges may apply where necessary.
Some remote postcode areas, including the Scottish Highlands, offshore islands, West Wales and certain rural areas, may incur additional delivery charges and slightly longer delivery times.
Order Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking number and courier details.
You can track your shipment directly with the courier once it has been dispatched.
Digital Piano Deliveries
As a specialist piano retailer, we offer two levels of delivery service for digital pianos and larger boxed instruments.
Because many digital pianos weigh between 60kg and 120kg, these deliveries are handled differently from standard parcels.
Economy Delivery
Our Economy Delivery service provides fast mainland UK delivery of your piano in its original flat-packed carton.
- Delivery is typically made between 8am and 6pm
- The piano will be delivered to your doorstep or ground floor entrance
- Assembly is not included
- You will need assistance available to help move the instrument into your property
Delivery Charges - New Digital Pianos
Delivery charges for new boxed digital pianos range from FREE to £49, depending on postcode area.
Some lower-value products supplied in particularly large cartons may carry a delivery charge of £25, which will be clearly shown at checkout.
Agency-Supplied Digital Pianos
Certain digital pianos are supplied directly by the manufacturer on an agency basis. Delivery charges for these products range from FREE to £175, depending on product type and delivery location.
Premium Delivery & Assembly Service
Our Premium Delivery & Assembly Service includes professional in-home setup by our experienced piano delivery team.
This service includes:
- Delivery into your home
- Full assembly of the piano and stand*
- Set up of a matching stool (where applicable)
- Positioning of the instrument
- Removal and recycling of packaging
We will contact you directly to arrange a convenient delivery date and estimated arrival window.

Assembly Charges
Professional in-home assembly charges range from FREE to £250, depending on postcode area and the make and model of the instrument.
Available services and pricing will be displayed automatically at checkout once your postcode has been entered.
Acoustic Piano Deliveries
Acoustic pianos require specialist handling and are delivered by experienced piano moving teams.
We can accommodate a wide range of delivery situations including:
- Ground floor deliveries
- Stair access
- Difficult access installations
- Crane and specialist lifting access where required
Standard Delivery Charges
Standard ground floor delivery to most UK mainland postcodes is FREE.
Additional charges may apply for:

Piano Delivery Questionnaire
Prior to delivery, we will ask you to complete a short Piano Delivery Questionnaire. This allows us to assess access arrangements and ensure the safe delivery and positioning of your instrument.
This helps protect both your property and your piano whilst ensuring our delivery team arrives fully prepared.
Removal & Disposal of Existing Acoustic Pianos
If you have an existing acoustic piano that you no longer require, we can often arrange professional removal and disposal.
Disposal Service
Professional piano disposal services start from £99, depending on location and access conditions.
Part Exchange
If you are upgrading your piano, we may also be able to offer a part exchange allowance against your new instrument.

Warehouse Collection
We offer FREE collection from our warehouse locations in:
- Eastbourne
- Reigate
- Milton Keynes
- Newcastle
Collections must be arranged in advance with our sales team.
