Roland VR730 73 Key V-Combo Keyboard
The Roland VR730 is a keyboard with 73 notes and a traditional semi-weighted waterfall organ style key action. The VR730 is the ideal “all round” keyboard for the gigging keyboard player as is has high quality organ, classic electric piano, acoustic piano and synthesizer sounds - all in a lightweight, easy to carry package. The VR730’s organ sounds are modelled on the classic drawbar organs which are so very popular in rock, blues, jazz and gospel music. There is an-board rotary speaker simulator with overdrive to give the cutting edge sound that is associated with this type of instrument. Acoustic & electric pianos are also of the exceptional high quality that you would expect from Roland - including some sounds taken from their flagship RD2000 stage piano. Everything about the VR730 has been designed with the player in mind. The control panel layout is intuitive and all the controls needed for live playing are close at hand.
Upgrade Your Keyboard To The VR730If you already own a keyboard that you would like to upgrade to the Roland VR730, then the Bonners part exchange programme is ideal for you. We take the hassle out of selling your keyboard, and you can have the new instrument of your choice sooner than you thought! Simply email us details of the keyboard you wish to trade-in to partex@bonners.co.uk and we’ll get right back to you with a valuation. We can collect your old keyboard at the same time as the delivery of your new instrument. If you have any queries relating to part exchange, please call us on 01323 639335.
The VR730 runs on mains or battery power!Weighing just 9.9kg, the VR730 can be powered by AC mains or batteries.
Three Distinct Sound SectionsThe VR730 has three independent sound sections - organ, piano and synth. These sections can be layered or split across the keyboard to create your own combinations of sounds, and stored to the presets for easy recall when in a live situation. The synth tones are derived from Roland’s INTEGRA sound module and feature the SuperNATURAL technology - high quality and extremely useful “gig-orientated” sounds
Onboard EffectsUp to seven effects can be used at any one time. As well as a new “Rock Rotary” Effect (this is designed to make the organ sound cut through the mix - even in the loudest bands!), there are other effects which feature classic keyboard effects such as chorus, phaser, delay, wah, reverb, flanging and many more. These can be applied to the sound sections independently and effects settings are memorised along with your own favourite presets.
Expand The Sounds - Completely Free Of ChargeThe sound set of the VR730 is expandable via free downloads from the Roland Axial website. Roland will be adding brand new sounds and patches for your VR730 keyboard.
Looks Great On Stage! The VR730 doesn’t just sound vintage - its case design gives a nod to the traditional tonewheel organs of the past. The wooden side panels and simplistic design look great on stage whilst retaining that traditional, retro keyboard image.
iPad Editor For Creating Your Own SoundsRoland has developed a free iPad editor for the VR730 which allows you to edit and create your own organ and synth voices. This app is downloadable from the Apple APP store.
Rhythm Patterns, Metronome & LooperMake your practice sessions more interesting with the onboard rhythm patterns. There is also an onboard audio looper (this was pioneered by Boss - a Roland guitar effects brand) which allows you to record phrases that playback in loops so you can jam over the top of them. This is not only great fun, but this technology has also formed the basis of many guitar-based solo acts over the past few years. Roland now brings this unique technology to keyboard players. It is also possible to record your performances in audio format to a connected USB memory stick (not included).

We offer a variety of flexible delivery options tailored to your location and the type of instrument you purchase. We aim to dispatch most in-stock standard-sized packages within 1 working day of receiving payment. Please note that we currently ship to the UK mainland only.
Pre-Orders and Out of Stock Items
If you order a product that is out of stock, we will contact you to confirm the lead time once we receive your order. You can also call or email us in advance of placing your order to check the current lead time for specific products and pay a small deposit to secure your place in the queue. This is especially convenient for popular or new products when demand is high.
Standard Size Packages
For standard-size packages, we use a range of third-party courier services to deliver goods as efficiently as possible. All items require someone to be present to receive the goods and provide proof of delivery. This is especially important for high-value items.
If you are not home, the courier may leave your parcel in a secure location and provide photographic proof, though this is at the courier's discretion and often not possible for high-value goods. If a delivery cannot be completed, our partners will make up to two attempts before returning the goods to our warehouse. Please be aware that a fee applies for any necessary re-delivery.
For larger items or those requiring delivery to locations such as the Scottish Highlands, offshore islands, or parts of Wales and Northern England, surcharges and longer delivery times of up to 10 days may apply.
Order Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking number and the name of the courier used. You can track your parcel directly through our partner websites:
- FedEx: Track your FedEx shipment here
- DX Express: Track your DX Express shipment here
Digital Piano & Large Item Delivery
As a specialist piano retailer, we provide two distinct tiers of service for digital piano deliveries to the UK mainland. Larger items that require specialist courier delivery are an exception to our standard despatch times; we will contact you personally to arrange these deliveries. This ensures you know exactly when your item is arriving and can be prepared to have help on hand if required to move and unpack your goods.
- Economy Delivery: Our fastest service for digital pianos. Your instrument is delivered flat-packed in a box to your doorstep between 8am and 6pm. Because these boxes can weigh between 60kg and 120kg, you will need to have someone available to help you move the instrument into your home and sign for the delivery.
- Premium Delivery & Setup: This premium service includes professional assembly by our experienced team. We will build your piano in your home, set up any purchased stools, and take away all packaging for recycling. We will coordinate a convenient delivery date and a two-hour time slot with you.
Acoustic Piano Deliveries
Acoustic pianos are delicate instruments that require professional handling with the utmost care. We use specialist piano delivery teams with years of experience to safely deliver upright and grand pianos. We can handle most situations, from a simple drop off to upstairs installations, and even locations where crane access is required.
Ahead of your piano delivery, we will ask you to complete our Piano Delivery Questionnaire to confirm a few details about access to your property and where the piano will be positioned. This will help us ensure your new instrument is delivered safely, efficiently, and without risk to either our team or your piano.
Removal of Existing Acoustic Pianos
If you have an old piano that you no longer require, we can arrange for its professional collection and disposal. Our specialist teams ensure the removal is handled safely without damaging your property.
- Disposal Service: Prices for piano collection and disposal start from £99.
- Part Exchange: If you are upgrading, we may be able to offer a part exchange value against your new purchase.
Please contact our team to discuss the specifics of your old instrument so we can provide an accurate quote and coordinate the removal with your new delivery.
Additional Services and Information
For those who prefer to collect in person, you can pick up your order from one of our warehouse locations in Eastbourne, Reigate, Milton Keynes, or Newcastle. To use this service, please contact us by phone to arrange a deposit and confirm availability, as online orders are not eligible for warehouse collection.
