The Yamaha P225 is a portable digital piano of outstanding quality, equipped with an 88-key Graded Hammer Compact (GHC) keyboard action with a matte finish on the black keys. Including the sound of the legendary Yamaha CFX concert grand piano (with Virtual Resonance Modelling Light), the P225 has 24 voices, including e.pianos, harpsichord, strings, choir, bass, organ and more. It is possible to layer two voices together in 'dual' mode, and you can split the keyboard to have different sounds in both the upper and lower registers of the keyboard. The P225 is compatible with the Yamaha L200 wooden stand and LP1 triple pedal unit to give a more authentic piano experience in your home.
The P125 was one of the Yamaha's most popular portable digital pianos. The P225 has upgraded the instrument in almost every aspect including the sound, speaker system and bluetooth compatibility. And it's lighter-weight too!
GHC Keyboard

When connecting a smart device to a musical instrument to use the app, you can use a cable or connect wirelessly using the Yamaha UD-BT01 (sold separately; for iOS only.

Onboard Recording Function

Onboard Bluetooth Connectivity
The P-225 features built-in Bluetooth® audio, which lets you pair this instrument with your Bluetooth®-enabled smartphone or tablet to listen to your favourite music through the instrument’s speakers. Preset Songs

Sound Boost
The position and angle of the speakers within the P-225 have been adjusted to replicate the sounds reflected from the soundboard and lid of an acoustic grand piano as closely as possible. These adjustments let you enjoy playing with sharp and clear mid to high-range tones and a prominent low-end for a well-balanced sound, even when the piano is set up against a wall.

Pre-Orders and Out of Stock Items
If you order a product that is out of stock, we will contact you to confirm the lead time once we receive your order. You can also call or email us in advance of placing your order to check the current lead time for specific products and pay a small deposit to secure your place in the queue. This is especially convenient for popular or new products when demand is high.
Standard Size Packages
For standard-size packages, we use a range of third-party courier services to deliver goods as efficiently as possible. All items require someone to be present to receive the goods and provide proof of delivery. This is especially important for high-value items.
If you are not home, the courier may leave your parcel in a secure location and provide photographic proof, though this is at the courier's discretion and often not possible for high-value goods. If a delivery cannot be completed, our partners will make up to two attempts before returning the goods to our warehouse. Please be aware that a fee applies for any necessary re-delivery.
For larger items or those requiring delivery to locations such as the Scottish Highlands, offshore islands, or parts of Wales and Northern England, surcharges and longer delivery times of up to 10 days may apply.

Digital Piano & Large Item Delivery
As a specialist piano retailer, we provide two distinct tiers of service for digital piano deliveries to the UK mainland. Larger items that require specialist courier delivery are an exception to our standard despatch times; we will contact you personally to arrange these deliveries. This ensures you know exactly when your item is arriving and can be prepared to have help on hand if required to move and unpack your goods.
- Economy Delivery: Our fastest service for digital pianos. Your instrument is delivered flat-packed in a box to your doorstep between 8am and 6pm. Because these boxes can weigh between 60kg and 120kg, you will need to have someone available to help you move the instrument into your home and sign for the delivery.
- Premium Delivery & Setup: This premium service includes professional assembly by our experienced team. We will build your piano in your home, set up any purchased stools, and take away all packaging for recycling. We will coordinate a convenient delivery date and a two-hour time slot with you.
Acoustic Piano Deliveries
Acoustic pianos are delicate instruments that require professional handling with the utmost care. We use specialist piano delivery teams with years of experience to safely deliver upright and grand pianos. We can handle most situations, from a simple drop off to upstairs installations, and even locations where crane access is required.
Ahead of your piano delivery, we will ask you to complete our Piano Delivery Questionnaire to confirm a few details about access to your property and where the piano will be positioned. This will help us ensure your new instrument is delivered safely, efficiently, and without risk to either our team or your piano.
Removal of Existing Acoustic Pianos
If you have an old piano that you no longer require, we can arrange for its professional collection and disposal. Our specialist teams ensure the removal is handled safely without damaging your property.
