Epiphone J-200 Studio; Vintage Sunburst

The Epiphone J-200 Studio delivers the historic presence and authoritative projection of the legendary Super Jumbo design in a classic, non-cutaway format. Engineered for musicians who require a commanding acoustic voice that naturally fills a room, this instrument brings the iconic "King of the Flat-Tops" heritage into a performance-driven package optimised for the modern working player.

The acoustic architecture relies on a solid spruce top paired with layered maple back and sides, a tonewood combination designed to maximize headroom, sustain, and clarity. The traditional, full-bodied Super Jumbo shape shifts a significant volume of air for enhanced low-end resonance, while the 25.5" scale mahogany neck features a fast 1960s SlimTaper D profile. The physical build is completed by a rosewood fingerboard, an authentic rosewood "moustache" bridge with pearloid inlays, a white plastic nut, and vintage-style Epiphone Deluxe tuning machines with keystone buttons.

Acoustic Projection & Playability

• Solid Spruce Top: Yields a broad dynamic range with deep, projecting lows and crisp high-end definition that sits perfectly alongside vocals.

• Super Jumbo Architecture: The full-sized body style provides maximum acoustic volume and natural resonance without losing note articulation during heavy strumming.

• Extended Scale Length: A 25.5" scale length increases string tension, adding a touch of snap, enhanced sustain, and clear note definition across the fretboard.

• SlimTaper D Neck Profile: Offers an ergonomic, player-friendly feel with a 43mm nut width, ensuring optimal comfort during long rhythm sets.

Discreet Stage Electronics & Heritage Styling

• Fishman Presys VT System: Features an under-saddle Fishman S-Core pickup paired with a low-profile preamp system for reliable, plug-and-play acoustic amplification.

• Soundhole-Mounted Controls: Rotary volume and tone controls are mounted discreetly within the soundhole, preserving the guitar's clean aesthetic while allowing on-the-fly adjustments.

• Iconic J-200 Appointments: Outfitted with an imitation tortoiseshell pickguard carrying two-colour J-200 graphics, multi-ply binding, and pearloid graduated crown fingerboard inlays.

• Premium Hardware: Equipped with high-stability Epiphone Deluxe tuners and a traditional rosewood moustache bridge for efficient string vibration transfer.

The Epiphone J-200 Studio blends timeless aesthetic heritage with rugged construction standards to deliver a road-ready instrument built for longevity. Designed to meet the demands of frequent travel, live tracking, and stage performance, it serves as an excellent choice for country, rock, and pop players alike. The instrument includes a standard factory gig bag for reliable protection and transport.
