About This Piano

This pre-owned Kawai K500 ATX4 upright piano dates from circa 2021 and is presented in very good cosmetic condition. Manufactured in Japan by Kawai, it carries serial number 2757126 and combines a traditional acoustic piano with Kawai’s AnyTime silent-piano technology.

At 130cm high, the K500 is a substantial upright piano designed for the home or teaching studio. The ATX4 system can mute the acoustic sound and use optical hammer sensors to trigger its digital sound engine, allowing the piano to be played through headphones when quieter practice is required.

The ATX4 system also provides a selection of digital sounds, recording and metronome functions, Bluetooth MIDI and audio connectivity, and control through Kawai’s PianoRemote app. In normal acoustic mode, the piano plays as a conventional Kawai K500 upright.

Meticulously Prepared by Bonners

Our technicians have carefully prepared this piano both inside and out, and it presents in very good cosmetic condition.

The piano has completed preparation in our on-site workshop and is ready to be played and compared in our Milton Keynes showroom.

As the tone and touch of every acoustic piano are individual, we recommend trying this instrument in both acoustic and headphone modes to assess it for yourself.

Why Choose the Kawai K500 ATX4?

The K500 ATX4 is a practical choice for pianists who want a full-sized acoustic upright together with the flexibility to practise privately through headphones. Its 130cm height makes it suitable for committed home practice and teaching use, while the integrated digital features support quiet practice, recording and connection to compatible devices.

This piano is a great alternative to buying a brand-new Kawai K500 ATX4 or Yamaha U3 SH3. These are similarly sized upright pianos with integrated silent-practice technology, making this pre-owned Kawai particularly relevant for players who want both a traditional acoustic instrument and headphone capability.

Why Buy a Pre-Owned Piano from Bonners?

Buying a used piano is very different from buying most second-hand products – what matters isn't simply its age, but its condition, how it has been maintained and, importantly, how well it has been prepared before it reaches its next home.

At Bonners, every pre-owned acoustic piano is thoroughly inspected and prepared by our technicians in our own on-site workshops, regardless of its age or the amount of work it needs. Our used pianos are also sold with a warranty for added peace of mind.

Our showrooms are relaxed, friendly places where you're welcome to spend time playing and comparing different pianos side by side, with no pressure to make a decision. Where possible, we'll help you compare a pre-owned piano with other instruments around a similar price, size or level so you can hear and feel the differences for yourself.

We're musicians ourselves and genuinely love these instruments. Our priority isn't simply to sell you a piano – it's to help you find the piano that feels and sounds right for you. That support continues after your purchase, with experienced customer service and after-sales care if you need us.

We offer UK-wide piano delivery, 0% interest finance options and attractive part-exchange allowances against your existing piano.
