Martin 000-13E Eric Clapton Signature Acoustic Guitar; Natural
The Martin 000-13E Eric Clapton brings one of acoustic music's most celebrated artist collaborations to the Road Series. Built around a traditional 000 body shape, the guitar delivers an articulate, balanced sonic profile with focused projection across the frequency spectrum. A solid spruce top treated with antique toner provides dynamic headroom and immediate pick response, while ziricote fine veneer back and sides yield rich harmonic complexity alongside distinct figuring. The body construction is framed with antique white binding and protected by a faux tortoise pickguard, uniting durable modern assembly with classic acoustic design.
Ergonomic performance centers on a 24.9-inch scale length and a 1 11/16-inch nut width, establishing lower string tension for expressive bending and nuanced fretting. The Performing Artist neck profile facilitates smooth hand transitions along the entire register. Capping the neck, a solid ebony fingerboard offers a rigid, wear-resistant playing surface accented by Golden Era Style 42 snowflake inlays and Eric Clapton's inlaid signature. At the lower bout, an ebony bridge ensures direct mechanical energy transfer into the soundboard, while nickel enclosed-gear tuning machines deliver smooth mechanical travel and dependable pitch retention.
For amplified performance and direct tracking, the instrument features factory-installed Martin E1 electronics. This integrated pickup and preamp system reproduces the natural acoustic timbre of the tonewoods with clean signal fidelity, resisting stage feedback while providing straightforward sound shaping. Complete with an included softshell case for reliable protection during transit, the Martin 000-13E Eric Clapton delivers professional utility, distinct visual appointments, and versatile performance for stage and studio applications.
