Main Features of the Nord Piano 6

• Premium Triple Sensor Keybed: The Nord Piano 6 features a premium triple sensor keybed, offering greater precision and dynamic control for expressive performances. Available in both 88-key and 73-key configurations, this keybed ensures an unparalleled playing experience.

• Dual Layers with Independent Effects: The Nord Piano 6 introduces an innovative layering system with 2 Piano Layers and 2 Sample Synth Layers. Each layer now benefits from a dedicated effects section, enabling you to assign unique effects to each layer – a significant leap forward compared to previous models. Create a rich and dynamic soundscape, applying, for instance, a chorus to a synth layer, a flanger to an electric piano, and a phaser to another synth layer simultaneously.

• Enhanced Effects Suite:

• New Spin Effect for vintage rotary-style modulation.

• Updated Delay Effects with filter, flam, and ping pong options.

• Dedicated Compressor per Layer for finely tuned dynamics.

• New Spring Reverb alongside existing global reverb settings, which now include send-per-layer and additional controls like pre-delay and bright/dark modes.

• Amp Simulator with enhanced tone options for authentic sound shaping.

• Improved Piano Section: With Advanced String Resonance, dynamic compression, multiple keyboard touch options, and an expanded polyphony of 120 voices, the piano section delivers unmatched realism and responsiveness.

• Sample Synth Enhancements: Features like unison for ensemble-style sound, true vibrato with real-time control, round-robin repetition for natural performance, and mono/legato modes make this a powerhouse for creative sound design.

• LED Faders for Intuitive Control: Borrowing the LED slider design from Nord's Wave 2 and Stage 4, the Nord Piano 6 offers immediate and precise control over layers and effects, replacing the rotary encoders of older models.

• Nord Triple Pedal 2 Included: Enjoy advanced half-pedalling capabilities and improved control over sustain for intricate performances.

A Leap Forward in Sound and Design
Combining advanced functionality, cutting-edge technology, and exceptional portability, the Nord Piano 6 is designed for the modern musician. Whether on stage or in the studio, its intuitive controls, world-class sound library, and powerful effects suite will help you create and perform with unparalleled versatility.
