The Roland GP9 is the pinnacle of digital grand pianos, offering the beauty of a full-size grand with cutting-edge technology. With advanced Piano Reality Concert Modelling, a premium PHA-50 hybrid keyboard, and an immersive multi-speaker system, it delivers an incredibly rich and expressive playing experience. Compared to the GP6, the GP9 takes realism even further with deeper sound modelling and a larger, more refined grand design. Best of all, it never needs tuning - just pure, flawless performance every time you play.

Tony White - Digital Piano Specialist

Roland GP9 Digital Grand Piano; Polished Ebony

The Roland GP9 is a luxury digital baby grand piano with a beautiful sound, keyboard touch, and the latest technology to make your playing experience more engaging and enjoyable. Measuring just over 1.5m in length, the GP9 is designed to exude the same presence & beauty in your room as a traditional acoustic piano but with the convenient features you would expect to find in a top-of-the-range digital instrument, including a wide choice of instrument tones, Bluetooth® connectivity, onboard learning tools and a powerful built-in amplification system.

Keyboard Touch

The GP9 is equipped with Roland's Piano Reality Concert keyboard. This hybrid wood/moulded keyboard with Ivory Feel key surfaces has a simulated escapement mechanism, long key pivot length and a unique haptic vibration, so the player 'feels' the music. The Piano Reality Concert Keyboard also features a progressive hammer action (slightly lighter at the top, compared with the lower registers), which is also similar to the keyboard found on an acoustic grand piano.

Sound

The GP-9 is built around advanced Roland’s Piano Reality approach, a sophisticated ecosystem of connected technologies comprising the sound engine, keyboard, pedals, audio components, and speakers. Each section is designed to work together flawlessly and transparently, allowing players to experience the purity of this wonderful instrument with unprecedented expression and realism.

Other Useful Features

  • Smart touch panel with intuitive icons and switchable backlighting
  • Adjust the piano tone with variable lid height and two prop sticks
  • Low-maintenance design that never needs tuning
  • Integrated casters for easy movement and a traditional look
  • Connect a smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth to play along with favourite songs and work with MIDI music apps
  • Control GP-9 features, explore lessons, and more with the companion Roland Piano App

We offer a variety of flexible delivery options tailored to your location and the type of instrument you purchase. We aim to dispatch most in-stock standard-sized packages within 1 working day of receiving payment. Please note that we currently ship to the UK mainland only.

Pre-Orders and Out of Stock Items

If you order a product that is out of stock, we will contact you to confirm the lead time once we receive your order. You can also call or email us in advance of placing your order to check the current lead time for specific products and pay a small deposit to secure your place in the queue. This is especially convenient for popular or new products when demand is high.

Standard Size Packages

For standard-size packages, we use a range of third-party courier services to deliver goods as efficiently as possible. All items require someone to be present to receive the goods and provide proof of delivery. This is especially important for high-value items.

If you are not home, the courier may leave your parcel in a secure location and provide photographic proof, though this is at the courier's discretion and often not possible for high-value goods. If a delivery cannot be completed, our partners will make up to two attempts before returning the goods to our warehouse. Please be aware that a fee applies for any necessary re-delivery.

For larger items or those requiring delivery to locations such as the Scottish Highlands, offshore islands, or parts of Wales and Northern England, surcharges and longer delivery times of up to 10 days may apply.

Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking number and the name of the courier used. You can track your parcel directly through our partner websites:

Digital Piano & Large Item Delivery

As a specialist piano retailer, we provide two distinct tiers of service for digital piano deliveries to the UK mainland. Larger items that require specialist courier delivery are an exception to our standard despatch times; we will contact you personally to arrange these deliveries. This ensures you know exactly when your item is arriving and can be prepared to have help on hand if required to move and unpack your goods.

  • Economy Delivery: Our fastest service for digital pianos. Your instrument is delivered flat-packed in a box to your doorstep between 8am and 6pm. Because these boxes can weigh between 60kg and 120kg, you will need to have someone available to help you move the instrument into your home and sign for the delivery.
  • Premium Delivery & Setup: This premium service includes professional assembly by our experienced team. We will build your piano in your home, set up any purchased stools, and take away all packaging for recycling. We will coordinate a convenient delivery date and a two-hour time slot with you.

Acoustic Piano Deliveries

Acoustic pianos are delicate instruments that require professional handling with the utmost care. We use specialist piano delivery teams with years of experience to safely deliver upright and grand pianos. We can handle most situations, from a simple drop off to upstairs installations, and even locations where crane access is required.

Ahead of your piano delivery, we will ask you to complete our Piano Delivery Questionnaire to confirm a few details about access to your property and where the piano will be positioned. This will help us ensure your new instrument is delivered safely, efficiently, and without risk to either our team or your piano.

Removal of Existing Acoustic Pianos

If you have an old piano that you no longer require, we can arrange for its professional collection and disposal. Our specialist teams ensure the removal is handled safely without damaging your property.

  • Disposal Service: Prices for piano collection and disposal start from £99.
  • Part Exchange: If you are upgrading, we may be able to offer a part exchange value against your new purchase.

Please contact our team to discuss the specifics of your old instrument so we can provide an accurate quote and coordinate the removal with your new delivery.

Additional Services and Information

For those who prefer to collect in person, you can pick up your order from one of our warehouse locations in Eastbourne, Reigate, Milton Keynes, or Newcastle. To use this service, please contact us by phone to arrange a deposit and confirm availability, as online orders are not eligible for warehouse collection.

For specific quotes or to discuss complex delivery requirements, please contact our sales team at 01323 639335 or email sales@bonnersmusic.co.uk.
