About This Piano

This beautiful pre-owned Yamaha C2 grand piano dates from circa 1998 and is finished in a stunning polished mahogany cabinet, which remains in exceptional condition for its age.

Made in Japan, the C2 forms part of Yamaha's highly regarded C Series of professional-quality grand pianos. At 173cm in length, it offers an excellent balance between musical performance and practical dimensions, making it a popular choice for homes, teaching studios and smaller performance spaces.

This particular example has a beautifully rich, resonant tone, with excellent clarity and dynamic range. The action is responsive and precise, offering the control and sensitivity that more experienced pianists will appreciate.

The polished mahogany cabinet is a particularly attractive feature, offering a distinctive alternative to the more commonly seen polished ebony finish.

Meticulously Prepared by Bonners

Our technicians have carefully inspected and prepared this piano in our own workshop.

The piano has been serviced and tuned, with the action checked and regulated to ensure an even, responsive touch across the keyboard. The hammers have also been assessed and voiced where necessary to achieve a balanced tone throughout the instrument.

The cabinet and interior have been thoroughly cleaned and prepared, preserving the exceptional appearance of this beautifully maintained grand piano.

Why Choose the Yamaha C2?

The Yamaha C2 is an excellent choice for pianists seeking the performance and refinement of a Japanese-built grand piano without the space requirements of a larger instrument.

Its 173cm length provides a rich, full-bodied sound with excellent projection, while the responsive action offers the control needed for expressive playing across a wide range of repertoire.

Yamaha's C Series grand pianos have long been popular with teachers, advanced students and professional musicians thanks to their consistent quality, dependable construction and musical versatility.

With its exceptional polished mahogany cabinet, beautiful tonal character and responsive touch, this 1998 Yamaha C2 is a particularly appealing example and well worth experiencing in person.
