• Integrated wheels for easier transportation

For musicians travelling regularly to gigs, rehearsals or lessons, the official Yamaha case is a particularly useful addition to the CK88.

Authentic Piano Feel with 88 Weighted Keys

The Yamaha CK88 features a full-size 88-note Graded Hammer Standard (GHS) keyboard, making it particularly well suited to pianists who want the expressive feel of an acoustic piano in a portable stage instrument.

The graded action provides greater resistance in the lower notes and a lighter touch towards the top of the keyboard, helping to recreate the playing experience of a traditional piano.

Whether you're performing delicate piano passages, playing powerful rock piano or enjoying classic electric piano sounds, the CK88 provides the familiar response that piano players appreciate.

A Huge Selection of Professional Keyboard Sounds

With 363 instrument voices, the CK88 covers an enormous range of musical styles and performance requirements.

You'll find everything from expressive acoustic grand pianos and vintage electric pianos to tonewheel organs, strings, brass, synthesizers and atmospheric pads.

The CK88 draws on Yamaha's extensive experience of producing professional stage keyboards, offering a versatile collection of sounds suitable for live performance, songwriting and studio work.

Whether you need a realistic grand piano for a solo performance, a vintage electric piano for soul and funk, or a powerful organ sound for a rock band, the CK88 has you covered.

Create Splits and Layers with Three Independent Parts

One of the CK88's most useful features is its ability to combine up to three independent sound Parts.

Each Part can be assigned its own instrument Voice, allowing you to create sophisticated keyboard combinations without complicated programming.

For example, you could layer an acoustic piano with a warm string sound, split the keyboard between bass and electric piano, or combine several different sounds for a more powerful performance.

Dedicated Part buttons and volume sliders make it easy to adjust your sounds whilst playing, without having to navigate through multiple menus.

Hands-On Effects and Sound Control

The Yamaha CK88 puts sound shaping directly at your fingertips with dedicated controls for its comprehensive effects system.

Each of the three Parts can use its own effects, including drive, modulation and rotary speaker simulation, allowing you to tailor your sound for different musical styles.

The keyboard also provides dedicated controls for filter and envelope adjustments, along with a three-band Master EQ for quickly adapting your overall sound to different venues or amplification systems.

This hands-on approach is particularly useful for live musicians who need to make adjustments quickly during a performance.

Built-In Stereo Speakers and Battery Operation

Unlike many professional stage keyboards, the Yamaha CK88 features its own built-in stereo speaker system.

This means you can practise, rehearse or perform in smaller settings without needing to connect an external amplifier or PA system.

The CK88 can also operate using eight AA batteries, making it ideal for situations where mains power isn't readily available.

Whether you're rehearsing backstage, playing at an outdoor event or simply enjoying a spontaneous music session, the CK88 offers an impressive degree of flexibility.

For larger performances, the stereo line outputs allow you to connect directly to an external amplifier, mixer or PA system.

Connect External Instruments, Audio and Recording Equipment

The Yamaha CK88 includes a useful selection of connectivity options for both live and studio applications.

Its stereo audio inputs allow you to connect external instruments or audio sources, whilst Bluetooth audio input provides a convenient way to play backing tracks and music through the keyboard's speakers.

USB audio and MIDI connectivity make the CK88 equally useful as part of a computer-based recording setup.

Additional connections include stereo line outputs, headphone output, MIDI In/Out and foot controller inputs.

Save Your Favourite Sounds with Live Sets

When you're performing live, quick access to your favourite sounds is essential.

The CK88's Live Set system allows you to store and recall complete keyboard configurations, including selected voices, splits, layers and effects settings.

Instead of rebuilding your sound for each song, you can simply recall the appropriate Live Set and concentrate on your performance.

This makes the CK88 a practical choice for musicians performing varied setlists or regularly switching between different musical styles.

Why Choose This Yamaha CK88 Bundle?
