EU Reconditioned Yamaha U3H Upright Piano; Circa 1979
Built in Japan in 1979, this Yamaha U3H offers the generous tone, responsive action and presence that have made the U3 a longstanding choice for serious pianists. It has been extensively reconditioned to an excellent standard, providing greater refinement and assurance than a conventionally prepared pre-owned instrument.
Tim Hough - Bonners Piano Specialist
This piano has been fully reconditioned by our European partner. The work included attention to the cabinet, an integrity check of the soundboard, inspection and correction of the centre pins, key coverings, key bushings and felts, pedals and hinges, together with detailed regulation work to the action, voicing and tuning.
The Yamaha U3H is a 131cm upright made in Japan and belongs to the long-established U3 family. Its tall cabinet gives it the presence of a substantial acoustic piano, while the clean, practical design remains suitable for a living room, teaching studio, school or dedicated music space.
The U3 has long been chosen by advancing students, teachers and experienced pianists who need an upright capable of supporting regular practice and a wide range of repertoire. Its larger scale makes it particularly suitable for buyers seeking more musical scope than a compact domestic upright, without moving to a grand piano.
Yamaha U3H Dimensions:
- Width 153cm
- Depth 65cm
- Height 131cm
