Authentic Yamaha CFX Concert Grand Piano Sound

At the heart of the Yamaha YDP-S36 is the sound of Yamaha's flagship CFX Concert Grand Piano.

Using advanced sampling technology, Yamaha has captured the rich tonal character, expressive dynamics and natural resonance of this world-renowned concert instrument, allowing players to experience inspiring grand piano sound in their own home.

From beginner exercises to advanced repertoire, the CFX voice delivers exceptional realism and musicality.

Realistic GHS Weighted Keyboard

The Yamaha YDP-S36 features Yamaha's highly regarded Graded Hammer Standard (GHS) keyboard action.

The keyboard recreates the natural weighting of an acoustic piano, with heavier keys in the bass register and lighter keys in the treble.

• 88 weighted keys
• Graded hammer action
• Realistic piano touch
• Responsive key action
• Ideal for learning proper technique

This authentic feel makes the YDP-S36 an excellent instrument for beginners and students while remaining enjoyable for more experienced players.

Virtual Resonance Modelling Lite

Yamaha's VRM Lite technology recreates the subtle resonances that naturally occur inside an acoustic piano.
