Yamaha YDP-S55 Black Digital Piano Value Package

The Yamaha YDP-S55 is an upgraded compact-size entry-level digital piano featuring an 88-note full-length grand piano keyboard. The Yamaha graded hammer 3 keyboard is slightly heavier at the bottom and lighter weight in the treble registers which is similar to that of an acoustic instrument. The synthetic ebony and ivory keytops give an even more realistic touch. If you're looking for a premium entry-level digital piano with a space-saving design this could be the perfect instrument for you!

Quality Accessories Included In This Package
Everything you need to get playing right away! We have selected quality branded products to complement your new piano and these offer excellent value for money. This digital piano package includes a Nocturne 'Maestro' solid wood adjustable-height piano stool (ideal for children and adults), and a set of Panasonic branded headphones for practising without disturbing neighbours or others in the household. Featuring XBS boosting, these headphones allow you to enjoy rich, deep end bass and wonderful, crisp higher-end tones. The piano stool has an adjustable height from 49-59cm (19.3 - 23.23").

10 Instrument Voices
There are 10 different instrument voices built into the YDPS55 including the sound of the legendary Yamaha CFX concert grand piano. You can also choose from alternative piano voices as well as harpsichord, organ, strings and more.

Great Audio Quality
The YDP-S55 features a 2 x 20 watts amplification system that powers two 12 cm, full-range speakers. The overall sound is further enhanced with the virtual resonance modelling light that simulates the resonances heard when playing an acoustic instrument. The intelligent acoustic control means the piano sounds superb no matter what volume it is being used at, and the stereophonic optimizer means it sounds great through headphones too.

Three Pedals
The YDP-S55 has three pedals just like a grand piano and the damper (sustain) pedal offers half pedalling.

Cabinet Options
The YDP-S55 is available in two popular cabinet finishes - satin black, and satin white.

Smart Pianist App - FREE!
The YDPS55 is fully compatible with Yamaha's smart pianist app for iOS and Android devices. This app is free of charge and gives you full control of the piano using the convenience of your device's touch screen. Additional settings for the piano voices can be accessed using the app so you can alter the tone of the piano to your own personal preference.

Recording options
The built-in recorder offers two independent tracks which can be used for recording left and right hands separately, or to multitrack two different sounds together.

The USB audio interface allows you to record the piano's audio to your favourite recording software such as Apple's logic or Steinberg's Cubase, as well as many other widely available computer recording utilities.
